In all cases where women have a rapid and slippery pulse at the Shaoyin position, sores will necessarily arise in the vagina, named Du Chuang (Jealousy Sore). Whether painful or itchy, feeling like insects crawling, with purulent discharge oozing out, and the vulva corroded almost completely away, all are caused by mental distress and depression, weak Stomach Qi, leading to stagnation of Qi and Blood. Thus, the *Classic* states: "All pain, itching, and sores belong to the Heart." It also says: "The Yangming channel governs the muscles; pain and itching belong to the Heart." Treatment should involve tonifying the Heart and nourishing the Stomach, combined with external fumigation, washing, and suppository treatments.

Yangwei Tang (Stomach-Nourishing Decoction) See the section on Wu Wei (Five Witherings) Gate for the formula.
Generally, pediatric diseases are not significantly different from adult diseases, except for conditions such as Hui Qi (Qi Reversal), Qifeng (Umbilical Wind), Yeti (Night Crying), Chongshe (Double Tongue), Bianzheng (Metamorphic Fever), Keyu (Guest Malevolence), Jire (Accumulated Heat), Jingxian (Convulsive Epilepsy), Jielu (Fontanelle Bulging), Babing (Demon Disease), Ganbing (Malnutrition Syndrome), and Buxing (Failure to Walk). These are absent in adults. As for wind-cold, cold damage, eruptive fevers, and dysentery, the medication principles are the same, differing only in dosage. The formulas mentioned previously have been classified and compiled, accessible for reference, so they are not repeated here. However, books on child-rearing were not very comprehensive during the Sui and Tang dynasties. In our Song Dynasty, works such as *Qianshi Yao Fang* (Essential Formulas of Dr. Qian), *Zhangshi Miaoxuan* (Wonderful Selections of Dr. Zhang), *Huwang Beilu* (Complete Records of Hu and Wang), and *Youyou Xinshu* (New Book for Young Children), along with standalone small collections, contain thousands of formulas and syndrome descriptions, which are too numerous to list exhaustively. Now, I have briefly selected contents from *Baosheng Yao Fang* (Essential Formulas for Preserving Life) covering these syndromes to meet urgent needs. Learned gentlemen may wish to consult them extensively.
