To treat Leprosy (Lifeng), also known as the Great Wind malignant disease, which is Lepra. Although named "Wind," it is not necessarily caused by external wind pathogens. Generally, it is mostly due to excessive desires and labor consuming Qi, leading to sweating and leakage of Qi, failing to avoid evil winds, causing turbid Qi to interfere with Defensive Qi (Wei Qi). This results in insensitivity of muscles; consumption Qi causes turbidity of body fluids, leading to obstruction of heat, thus skin sores ulcerate, the nasal bridge collapses and is destroyed, or one spontaneously becomes insensitive. These are extremely vile conditions resulting from base acts. Over time, white skin may peel off all over the body, resembling snake shedding.
The above prescription: Use ten dou of ash from mulberry branches, pour hot water through it to extract the juice, and use it to wash the head and face. Next, use paste made from soybeans and mung beans mixed with boiled water. Bathe once every three days, and wash the face once a day.
To treat the Great Wind malignant disease, where both eyes are dim, unable to distinguish people even at close range, eyebrows and hair fall out naturally, the nasal bridge collapses, skin sores appear like moss, and the condition seems critical and incurable. This prescription is highly effective.
The above prescription: Use three jin of Gleditsia Sinensis Spina (Zao Jiao Ci), steam for a long time over charcoal fire, dry in the sun, and grind into powder. Take one bi (a small spoonful) with strong decoction of Rheum Palmatum (Dahuang). Within ten days of administration, eyebrows and hair will regrow, and skin will recover.
For leprosy caused by excessive phlegm and internal heat toxicity (textual ambiguity, likely referring to accumulation of heat/phlegm): Take three to four doses with clear tea liquor, effect observed. (See the formula under the category of Accumulated Heat in the Major Department.)
Bathing method:
Radix Ephedrae Caudicis (Mahuang Gen), Cortex Lycii (Digupi), Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata (Caowutou) (each two liang).

For each dose, use one liang of the herb mixture, one bucket of water, one he of Zanthoxylum Bungeanum (Huajiao), thirty stems of Allium Fistulosum (Cong), and one liang of Artemisia Argyi Folium (Aiye). Decoct together until fully penetrated, then bathe.
Testudo Chiwensis Carapax et Plastron (Jiule Biejia), Pseudoscorpion (Hai Wugong) (finely chopped. Each two liang).
Seal these with salt mud, let dry, and calcine over fire retaining only two parts of their nature. Grind into powder. Semen Crotonis Tiglii (Badou) half liang, remove skin and membrane, grind along the grain. Seven Qingzhou dates, remove pits.
Mash the dates and Badou together into a paste-like consistency, add the powders of the previous two ingredients, grind uniformly, and make pills using vinegar-boiled flour paste, sized like mung beans. Take seven pills per dose; for those with deficiency, add four to five pills. Take down with warm brine juice. Stop when foul matter resembling pus, blood, or rotten fish intestines is discharged. If no discharge occurs after three doses, add three more pills. Subsequently take Yuxian Dan.
