36. Is the chaos in today's society related to healthcare?

Answer: There is a close correlation. Why?

We can see that pharmacies, clinics, and hospitals selling medicine on the streets are more numerous and larger than any other business, and their liveliness surpasses even that of markets.

Western medicine and drugs are like a double-edged sword that is both beneficial and profitable. One side cures diseases and restores health, while the other side is a weapon that harms and kills people. The damage caused by drugs to the human body is the main reason why various civilization diseases and strange diseases emerge endlessly today (see the chapter "Taking Western Medicine Damages the Stomach, Actually All Internal Organs Are Damaged").

A person with a healthy body has a healthy mind; with a healthy mind, their behavior and conduct are normal; with normal behavior and conduct, there is a peaceful and stable society.

Does a person with an unhealthy body, long suffering from pain and mental stress, have a healthy mind? The patient's physical and psychological condition affects those around them, causing those around them to suffer collateral damage.

Liver disease is associated with emotions and anger; those with liver problems tend to be violent. Look at our Legislative Yuan, look at our society; everywhere shows a violent atmosphere. Is this not related to the overuse of antibiotics, chemical drugs damaging the liver, and pesticides damaging the liver?

Hypertension, diabetes, Hepatitis B, and various unfounded diseases pollute the health of the backbone of our society—middle-aged and elderly people, tormenting the second half of their lives. These harmful and lethal Western medicines, and the Western hospitals found on every street, cause damage to the human body. Does this not affect people's psychology and emotional stability?

Hypertension causes strokes, diabetes causes blindness, uremia, and Hepatitis B causes liver cirrhosis and liver cancer... Various medical advertisements that threaten and intimidate about diseases fill television and newspapers day and night. Do the public's fear and helplessness regarding diseases not erode their psychological and emotional health?

Medical treatments that bankrupt families and lead to family destruction have caused how many family tragedies and social tragedies, driving how many family members into prostitution? Does anyone know? Are the evil consequences caused by medical science unrelated to social chaos? Why must the public endure these medical threats and intimidation day and night? The psychological terror and threat posed by medical diseases to the entire public, and the financial losses suffered by the public due to medical care, exceed the harm and threats posed by bandits and robbers to the public.

37. Can Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treat hereditary diseases?

Answer: Diseases can be inherited, but heredity is not the cause. As long as the cause is identified, there is no disease in the world that cannot be cured. Illness is a symptom that should not occur under normal physiological conditions. For example, asthma—grandparents, parents, and children all suffer from asthma. The illness of grandparents, parents, and children is due to the same cause. Once the cause of asthma is identified and treated successfully, the next generation will no longer have asthma. Therefore, heredity is not the cause. Medical practice cannot use heredity as an excuse to敷衍 (perfunctorily deal with) patients.

Many diseases attributed to bloodlines are not actually problems of bloodline. "Diseases enter through the mouth." In the same family, with the same environment and diet, diseases caused by the same diet mean that the same family often has the same diseases. This is not because bloodline issues are the cause of the disease (see the chapter "Three Causes of Disease"). Many regional familial diseases today occur because people with colds see the same doctor, and the medicine used by that doctor causes the same damage to the bodies of people in that region or family. For instance, Hepatitis B is caused by the damage from drugs inside needles, not by the needles themselves, nor is it because Easterners are prone to contracting Hepatitis B.

Diabetes and hypertension are also caused by medical harm resulting from the invention of certain instruments. They are fundamentally not issues of bloodline or heredity (see the chapter "Diabetes, Hypertension, Hepatitis B"), but rather the result of the same type of drug causing identical damage to the human body.

38. Do large-scale teaching hospitals and major hospitals have better systems and do not deceive patients; whereas small hospitals and clinics are more likely to deceive, right?

Answer: Major hospitals and teaching hospitals are the instigators of deceiving and murdering patients, binding patients' hands and feet with consent forms to deceive them.

For example, bone marrow transplantation: a certain teaching hospital performed over ten cases, each costing the patient two to three million yuan. What was the result?

Everyone might ask the Consumer Foundation to investigate the outcomes of patients who underwent bone marrow transplantation. Would ordinary small hospitals, clinics, or quack doctors dare to perform such deceptive medical procedures?

All civilization diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, Hepatitis B, cancer, and AIDS are medical scams created by teaching hospitals to expand their business. The public, unaware, falls victim to these scams (see the chapter "A Medical Scam That Cannot Even Cure One Patient | Hypertension, Diabetes, Hepatitis B, AIDS, Cancer...").

After public insurance and labor insurance were piloted following TCM advocacy, many large hospitals rushed to establish TCM departments, renting TCM licenses and hiring secret practitioners—TCM doctors without licenses—to treat patients, thereby defrauding public and labor insurance payments. The Department of Health and Labor Insurance Bureau remained silent (see Question 8), yet the public willingly falls for the deception of large hospitals.

Quacks deceive three or five people, while scientific quacks—teaching hospitals—deceive tens of thousands. Small TCM hospitals and clinics, striving for survival, are cautious and dare not engage in deceiving patients.

39. Has the extension of human average life expectancy been achieved due to advances in medical science and improved medical quality, right?

Answer: Over ninety percent of the data in medical statistical reports produced by our health authorities are fraudulent.

Poverty and fear during wartime are one of the reasons for shorter human life expectancy.

Stability and wealth in life are one of the reasons for extended life expectancy.

The average life expectancy of our compatriots has not actually increased due to medical progress. In the past, mothers had seven, eight, or even more than ten children, so the death ratio was naturally higher. Today, mothers only have one or two, or at most three or four. The rest die from abortions before birth and are not counted. Children of our compatriots who die at birth and are not registered in household registers are not included in statistics. This results in our country having the lowest mortality rate record in the world, causing embarrassment at the World Health Organization.

Think about it: the statistic of aging population and extended life expectancy is caused by the result of fewer births later on, while deaths caused by medical harm are countless.

Backward regions in mainland China and Russia, lacking advances in medical science, have many longevity villages where health and life expectancy surpass those of our compatriots. Has medicine brought good news to human life expectancy? Fraud! Fraud! Fraud!

40. Since TCM lacks specialist physicians, it cannot make detailed and precise diagnoses to restore patients' health, right?

Answer: What instrument can be more precise than the structure of the human body? The human body is the most precise instrument, possessing intelligence to judge right from wrong. However, various artificial instruments cannot judge the correctness of human health, serving only as tools for medical personnel to deceive and defraud patients. Various scientific instruments are the true culprits causing the public to go bankrupt, suffer family destruction, and face health tragedies, not the diseases themselves. Understanding the mutual generation and restriction of the Five Elements (Wu Xing), the relationships among Zang-Fu organs (internal organs), and their meridian functions helps understand the causes of human illness (see "Three Factors of Disease"). Human illness and recovery involve the whole body affecting every part. Thus, TCM can cure the root cause, unlike Western medicine which produces side effects and complications, eventually making the whole body ill due to medical treatment, or even causing death due to side effects and complications.

Today's medical specialists are divided into cardiology, gastroenterology, hepatobiliary surgery, etc. This leads to a cycle where if cardiology fails, one switches to gastroenterology; if that fails, to hepatobiliary surgery; then to dermatology... Patients are passed from department to department, finally being sent to the "preparing for funeral" department—cancer. This is the main reason why one in four people dies of cancer today.

Patients are fragmented by specialist departments until they suffer from complications all over their bodies, often not even knowing how they died. This is touted as the essence of modern medical science. Patients seeking medical help encounter wolves in sheep's clothing (scientific fraud) and still praise the progress and greatness of science.

Learning Western medicine is simple: treat whatever you see. Three years is sufficient; the remaining years are spent learning to use precise instruments and complete equipment to deceive patients and shirk responsibility. Specialists push patients back and forth, leaving patients floating in space, unsure of where to land, rather than dividing specialties for the purpose of curing disease.

In large hospitals or with doctors seeing hundreds of patients a day, one can notice that prescriptions are written before the illness is fully examined. How do these doctors possess such superb medical skills? If we gather these hundreds of patients and compare their prescriptions, we find they are all the same: anti-inflammatory, stomach-protecting, pain-relieving "American Magic Pills," or vitamin flour balls. They don't cure well, but they don't kill either. This is the main reason why many famous doctors seem effective for any disease or why some diseases seem incurable.

We can see and hear media outlets criticizing TCM for misusing "American Magic Pills." Please take the medicine obtained from large hospitals or dermatology departments to a pharmacist you know and ask what it is. Besides "American Magic Pills" or vitamins, what else is there? In TCM diagnosis, the human body—the physician—is the diagnostic instrument, the most precise instrument. TCM is divided into Internal Medicine and Surgery; further subdivided into Gynecology, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Acupuncture, Tuina (massage), Cupping, Dao Yin (guiding and pulling exercises, including meditation, Qigong), Zhuyou (incantation, talismans, spirits); Traumatology, Guoshu (martial arts, boxing, swords, i.e., sports), Sores and Ulcers, Oncology, etc. Each diagnostic specialty is further divided into categories. For example, Pediatrics in *Yizong Jinjian* (Golden Mirror of Medicine) is divided into 27 categories, which are further subdivided into 223 subcategories. These classifications serve as the basis for treating diseases and restoring health, rather than dividing by Zang-Fu organs. Because the generation, restriction, smooth flow, and reversal of Zang-Fu and meridian lesions produce interactions throughout the body, healing cannot be achieved by focusing on certain Zang-Fu organs alone. Therefore, studying TCM requires ten years, whereas Western medicine only requires three years.

Disease treatment and health restoration are holistic practices where moving one hair moves the whole body. Thus, TCM practitioners must be generalists. The object of treatment is a human being, not a dissectible machine or animal. Can everyone realize the true reason why modern medicine causes so many tragedies?

41. Western medicine practitioners receive at least seven years of formal medical education, providing higher-standard care. Yet today, the public does not trust or seek TCM because TCM lacks standards, right?

Answer: Why do many educated intellectuals and common laborers today believe in a medical system that cannot cure a single patient of hypertension, diabetes, Hepatitis B, cholesterol, blood lipids, uric acid..., and ultimately leaves them with complications and side effects throughout their bodies? (See "Hypertension, Diabetes...").

An injection stops pain temporarily, taking medicine stops pain temporarily, but pain persists for three or five years. Finally, painkillers damage the heart and kidneys, even harming all internal organs. Is this medicine controlling the condition or committing chronic murder of patients?

Public and labor insurance, costing billions in tax revenue annually, engages in deceptive medical practices—health checkups. Thorough examinations are merely for knowing whether one is sick or what disease one has. What is the reason for this scientific approach? (See "Health Checkups for Profit").

When a major hospital researched the effect of the TCM formula Xiao Qing Long Tang on asthma allergies, relevant authorities allocated twenty million for research expenses. Using outsiders who do not understand TCM to conduct this research is entirely the act of secret practitioners. Spending twenty million at once—is this wasting taxpayers' hard-earned money to frame and slander TCM? Regarding Hepatitis B prevention, billions in tax revenue were wasted, yet what results were prevented?

What is the result of seven years of formal education and several years of internship?

For example, cesarean sections. Today, the public only praises the high skill of certain doctors or hospitals in performing C-sections, ignoring surgical scars, and never discussing how women's lifelong health is ruined by C-section surgeries. Various surgeries bring future health problems of being "ill all over," yet neither the public nor doctors mention this. Thus, seven years of formal education and internship only teach cruel and sophisticated methods to harm patients' health and shirk responsibility.

"It's fate that spending so much money couldn't cure it!" "It's fate that such advanced science couldn't cure it!" Today, when the public goes bankrupt and suffers family destruction due to Western medicine, they attribute it to fate rather than investigating the true scientific causes of this financial and life-threatening harm. They die without regret, believing until their last breath that being killed by medicine is correct—killing science. And TCM? Although it cures, it is deemed unscientific, and medical recovery lacks scientific basis.

Have public donations achieved their charitable purpose? How do hospitals digest these donations? Does everyone know?

For self-paying patients, the medical fee is 10,000 yuan. For poor patients receiving charity donations, hospitals charge 15,000 or 20,000 yuan. Why? Because major hospitals believe that the medical fees for poor patients are donated by others, not the patients themselves, so they double the charges. When public charity donations are exhausted, have patients recovered? Where did the public's charitable love go? Does everyone know? Shouldn't supervisory institutions be established for future public medical charity donations to prevent public charity from becoming a tool for certain individuals to amass wealth using media?

The illnesses of celebrities often become tools for certain famous doctors and authorities to hype fame and profit. The public does not distinguish right from wrong, and media outlets join in without discernment. How many deaths and diseases caused by improper medical treatment can people know?

Whether Western medicine cures or kills, the public believes it is science. It is often heard that the only way to treat many diseases is surgery, disbelieving that benign conditions do not need surgery and malignant ones are useless even with surgery. Western medicine says it cannot be cured, urging belief in the incurable. TCM says it can be cured, but the public does not believe the curable. Thus, however TCM cures diseases, it faces suspicion and doubt from patients, preferring to believe in the "incurable science." Therefore, in the minds of today's educated intellectuals and common laborers, is the understanding of medicine lacking standards, or is TCM lacking standards?
