Any young talent aspiring to learn Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) should remember that it is not difficult to become a truly excellent TCM practitioner. You must meticulously study the *Huangdi Neijing* (Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon) as the foundation for diagnostics and pathology; thoroughly understand the formula principles of the *Shanghan Lun* (Treatise on Cold Damage) and the *Jingui Yaolue* (Essential Prescriptions of the Golden Cabinet); deeply research the acupuncture theory in the *Nan Jing* (Classic of Difficult Issues); and read extensively, such as the *Zhenjiu Dacheng* (Great Compendium of Acupuncture and Moxibustion) by Yang Jizhou of the Ming Dynasty. I recall receiving a magazine from the New England School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the United States earlier this year. Its cover featured a moxa cone burning on the handle of an acupuncture needle. This is a major taboo in traditional TCM. Anyone who has read the *Zhenjiu Dacheng* knows there is a song of forbidden acupuncture points stating: "When needling, do not moxa; when moxa, do not needle. The Classic of Acupuncture often warns against this. Quack doctors apply both needle and moxa, inflicting upon patients the torture of scalding fire." Since ancient times, the simultaneous application of acupuncture and moxibustion has been prohibited. Yet this magazine's cover displays such a design, which they consider clever and fancy, unaware that any discerning traditional TCM practitioner can immediately see that this school misleads Americans in their study of TCM. These people call themselves traditional TCM practitioners, but they are actually neither of orthodox TCM nor orthodox Western medicine background, yet they claim to be traditional TCM. This not only misleads others' children but also leads TCM astray. Is this not harming people? I must tell the public what true traditional TCM is, so as not to mislead the masses. Looking through the Twenty-Four Histories of our country, "scholars die for remonstrance, warriors die in battle," ancient famous ministers dared to risk execution by the emperor to speak frankly, urging the emperor to change his mind, and their results were all praised by the emperor. I do not care about personal honor or disgrace; I must tell the innocent people of the world the truth. True traditional and excellent TCM uses only needles, moxibustion, and Chinese herbal medicines in the forms of pills, powders, pastes, and elixirs. There is absolutely no use of electro-acupuncture, laser acupuncture, or injection acupuncture. Some even worse TCM practitioners, seeking effects, add Western sedatives and steroids into Chinese herbal medicines. These are tricks used by TCM practitioners who cannot cure diseases to deceive the world. Not only do they harm patients, but they also mislead students during teaching, which is truly pitiable and lamentable.

The purpose of writing this article is to resolve a major doubt people have about TCM: To what extent can orthodox, high-quality TCM treat diseases? I will give you a definition: A true orthodox TCM practitioner can not only master the entire process from initial diagnosis to treatment to recovery, but also know how to prevent the same disease from recurring. If a TCM practitioner cannot achieve this, they are non-orthodox TCM practitioners, strange TCMs polluted by Western medicine. If you are a practicing TCM doctor, when you read this, theoretically, you should be excited that you possess such medical skills to save many patients who would otherwise not have died. I believe you can also achieve this, and perhaps even better than me, you just lack an opportunity to publish. But if you feel the opposite, becoming angry and trying to strike back at me, it is useless. You are not human; you are a fool worse than a crow. Why do I say this? Think about how many people in the world suffer from pain and illness, who could have survived, but because you obstruct them, unable to do what I can do, patients die unjustly in your hands. You may not feel heartache because they are just your customers. If they were your relatives, such as parents, siblings, or wife, and because you are jealous of me and refuse to refer them, they also die unjustly from diseases that should not have killed them. You still do not repent, still angry at me, not angry at yourself for not striving, not studying hard to strengthen your abilities, not blaming yourself for regretting that knowledge is insufficient when needed. Even crows know the grace of feeding back their parents, but you do not. You actually think only of your own face, watching helplessly as your relatives die unjustly. Do you say you are still human? Would I fear a fool like you, worse than a crow? Perhaps you are a poor TCM practitioner who doesn't even know the extent to which you can cure diseases. Or perhaps you are a professor at a TCM school misleading students, while your pockets still hold Western antihypertensive and hypoglycemic drugs, yet your mouth speaks of which Chinese herbs can lower blood pressure or blood sugar. If you think others don't know your medical skills are inadequate, you are completely wrong. Patients know clearly in their hearts after taking your medicine, they just don't say it. They are deceived for a time simply because they do not understand what TCM can truly do. One day they will know, because I will continuously write cases to let the world know. Eventually, everyone will understand. The full translation into English is coming, please look forward to it. I am often interrupted in my writing due to patient visits. Please forgive the readers; there are really too many patients, coming from all states in the US, as if there are no other doctors in other states. It really keeps me busy. Recently, I have accelerated my pace to complete the English versions of the *Shanghan Lun* and *Jingui Yaolue*. I am rushing as much as possible; whenever I have time, I will continue to finish them.

Master-Apprentice Training Method of the Ren Ji Class

None of the famous doctors in our country's history were not trained through the master-apprentice system and self-study. In the past, there were no so-called medical colleges in any dynasty. Teaching was one-on-one, with strong masters directly guiding students in clinical practice, allowing students to contact patients from the beginning until cured. Students experienced the entire process personally, which is the only way to produce high-quality physicians, a method well known to all. I very much want to do this, but time and location do not match. Therefore, when teaching theory, I choose Taiwan, but I bring actual clinical cases from the US back to Taiwan so students can learn as if experiencing it personally, ensuring theory matches actual cases. For example, this time I returned to the US, and on the first day of work, I saw a Western medical examination report. This patient came from Pennsylvania, was a veterinarian, and had a brain tumor. After Western radiotherapy, the cancer spread, and the tumor grew larger. About two months before I returned to Taiwan, I took over this case. Now the report shows his brain tumor has shrunk by more than half. Of course, the patient is happy, and I am happy too. According to the old way, I would have just filed it away, but now it's different. I will ask the patient to make a more complete statement next time they come to Florida, and if possible, I will record it for students to learn. There are many such cases. I will select the most standard cases of each type for students to study. I will try my best to let students see the differences between Before and After, hoping to strengthen students' actual clinical experience. If possible, I warmly welcome students to come to the US, to my clinic to personally experience my actual clinical feelings. Because I use Classical Formulas (Jing Fang), the effects are very rapid. Therefore, even in two weeks, you can see many good cases. Also, since I have many patients, you can witness the rapid effect of Classical Formulas every day. Of course, if you apprentice under Southern Warm Disease School TCM practitioners, you might not see therapeutic effects for three months.

There are only two types of doctors in the world: those who can cure diseases and those who cannot. Neither Warm Disease School TCM nor Western medicine can cure diseases; only Classical Formula experts are truly capable doctors. I really hope all of China and Taiwan are studying Classical Formulas. It is not difficult at all; as long as you study with heart, you will master it, nothing big about it. To be the best TCM practitioner, one must become a Classical Formula expert. Students of the Ren Ji Class will be trained by me to become excellent Classical Formula experts. From the results of this student selection, I felt everyone's desire and enthusiasm for learning Classical Formulas. I originally wanted to strongly delete some and keep only 20 people, but it seems difficult, so I will accept a few more students to participate in this training course. However, I will adopt high standards to eliminate unsuitable students. Even if only one person remains at the end, I do not care. I only care about training the strongest students. High quality is my only pursuit. Either become a Classical Formula Master, or not.

My arranged courses have my own conception. I believe we should teach Acupuncture first, then the *Huangdi Neijing*, then the *Shennong Bencao Jing* (Divine Farmer's Materia Medica). In this way, because the students' basic medical foundation is solidified by me, before even starting to teach the *Shanghan Lun* and *Jingui Yaolue*, it feels as if they could write these two books themselves. Back then, the Medical Sage Zhang Zhongjing was not very proficient in acupuncture; otherwise, the *Shanghan Zabing Lun* (Treatise on Cold Damage and Miscellaneous Diseases) would have been even more interesting. In our country's past, only the Tang Dynasty famous doctor Sun Simiao mastered both acupuncture and Shanghan simultaneously. Throughout history, those who excelled in both acupuncture and Shanghan/Jingui are indeed rare. Therefore, in the past, acupuncture doctors and herbal medicine doctors were separated. Personally, I believe one must master both to become a famous expert. I will transmit the most orthodox acupuncture theory of our country. Currently, acupuncture in the world is no longer orthodox. Mainland Chinese TCM practitioners use Tianying point methods, injection acupuncture, laser acupuncture, simultaneous needle and moxa, and other showy acupuncture techniques, which are fundamentally deceiving. Not only do they not heal, but they also increase the burden on the patient's body. Our country's oldest needle technique, if used correctly, has effects faster than Classical Formulas, almost immediate. Now it has been lost in the mainland. I will pass this oldest needle technique to the Ren Ji Class students. When you learn it, you will understand how childish and ignorant the current acupuncture methods used in the mainland are, like Westerners doing acupuncture, which is fundamentally not acupuncture, but random stabbing, completely losing the spirit of true acupuncture.

I give an example to illustrate, which happened while I was writing this article. A patient, Mr. J, 62 years old, white, drove five hours to find me. His arterial vessels were already blocked. Cardiologists told him he needed three bypass surgeries, but he only had one kidney. If he underwent open-heart surgery, it would easily lead to renal failure. Therefore, they gave up Western medical treatment. Recommended by a friend, he came to see me. His main symptoms were continuous chest pain radiating to the upper jaw, insomnia, and numbness in the hands. I had him lie on the bed, and I inserted eight needles in his body. His chest pain disappeared at the same time the needles went in, and the hand numbness also vanished. After twenty minutes, I removed the needles. As he walked with me to the outpatient department, he told me that before the needles, he could only walk about ten steps before becoming short of breath and unable to continue. But now, he walked briskly alongside me to here, without any shortness of breath, chest pain gone, and hand numbness gone. This is the true effect of acupuncture. Every acupuncture doctor should be able to achieve this. If they cannot achieve such effects, there is a problem with your teacher, and the needle technique is too poor. I use master-apprentice teaching methods, which guarantees that every student can perform exactly as I do. At the same time, I also advise teachers in TCM colleges: if you know your needle technique cannot achieve immediate effects, please do not mislead students, stop teaching, lest you be laughed at when encountering my students in the future. If Professor Zhu Shuxun, the so-called heart disease authority in Taiwan, sees the condition I described and the results after TCM treatment, you will know how strong I am. Why do I dare to say you cannot cure heart disease? I hope you will no longer spread nonsense encouraging patients to take one aspirin a day to prevent heart disease. Because I am a TCM practitioner who can truly cure heart disease, I have the qualification to say this. Aspirin cannot help patients prevent heart disease at all; only Chinese herbs can truly prevent heart disease, and TCM practitioners in Taiwan can all do it. Please value and respect them.

After teaching acupuncture, I start teaching the *Huangdi Neijing*. If apprentices master these two studies, they will possess the most complete foundation of TCM diagnostics, pathology, and physiology. On this deep theoretical foundation: First, there will never be misdiagnosis; Second, the root cause of the disease can be identified; Third, the specific disease threats the patient will face can be accurately predicted; Fourth, whether the disease is cured can be diagnosed after treatment; Fifth, the origin of the disease can be known through Observation, Listening/Smelling, and Inquiry, without needing Pulse Diagnosis. Those who diagnose only by pulse are skilled craftsmen but cannot cure diseases. Next, students will be taught to study the *Shennong Bencao Jing*. This is our country's earliest pharmacopoeia, entirely explaining drug properties. Once students are familiar with the properties of Chinese herbs, they can boldly use medications without hesitation, often curing diseases with just a few simple herbs. Our country has the so-called "Three Treasures" referring to the *Huangdi Neijing*, *Shennong Bencao Jing*, and *Yijing* (Book of Changes). It is said that those who can read through these three classics can be called the people who understand Chinese culture best. I am currently still amateurish, spending much time researching them, still needing effort. If I teach poorly, please forgive me, because I cannot find substitute teachers to help teach, so I have to dive in and teach it myself. All Ren Ji courses will be taught by me alone, including the final teachings of the *Shanghan Lun* and *Jingui Yaolue*. The elimination rate of students will be high. If not eliminated by me from beginning to end, their strength after training will surely surpass mine, because the students I pick are basically smarter and harder working than me, which is why I picked them. So I am very confident in the students.

Finally, I want to supplement one point: Cases like the above happen almost every day in my clinic. The immediate effect of acupuncture makes me feel like a car mechanic fixing a car on the spot, ready to use immediately. Mainland Chinese TCM practitioners in the US, whenever they encounter heart disease or cancer patients, act as if they met ghosts, immediately referring patients to Western doctors and emphasizing that this disease must be primarily treated by Western medicine with TCM as auxiliary. Their level is truly terrible. The introducer of the above patient was a cardiologist. Why do Chinese TCM practitioners push patients to Western doctors, while Western doctors push them back to me? Because patients are pushed around, they eventually end up with me, because I can truly cure the disease, because I am a Classical Formula expert. These fake TCM practitioners with Chinese skin and Western bones are numerous in the US now, truly embarrassing TCM internationally, making foreigners mistakenly think TCM is nothing. Taiwanese TCM practitioners have strong quality, but the result is that Taiwan's Department of Health has been occupied by Western medicine, and TCM has declined to this extent. They must bear responsibility for this. Like Professor Zhu Shuxun, a Western professor who best misleads the masses, daily doing wrong demonstrations helping pharmaceutical companies, killing people and increasing health insurance burdens. Clearly curable heart diseases that are easy and cheap to treat are subjected to surgery by him, and patients eat aspirin which cannot prevent heart disease. This medical therapy consumes money, fails to cure the disease, and brings many sequelae to patients, yet is encouraged by the Department of Health. It is truly rotten. I will establish a virtual online TCM Department of Health, hoping everyone participates. If the majority in Taiwan join my side, I want to see whether Taiwan's Department of Health is truly serving the common people or continuing to serve Western medicine in destroying the nation. Sorry for going off-topic. Every time I see a heart disease patient visit, I think of this guy, get angry, and say more irrelevant things. Returning to the topic, I will devote all my efforts to passing down all my TCM knowledge to the Ren Ji Class students. I hope all selected students can completely absorb all the oldest medical classics of our country. The knowledge field involved in this work is too vast and huge. No TCM practitioner today has achieved this. I will give myself only one chance, so I will teach this last time only, passing down Ren Ji unreservedly to the next generation, completing this historical and cultural inheritance mission, allowing our country's ancient culture to once again display its perfect advantages, letting the world understand that our country's ancient culture is not just vases, jade, buildings, and other artifacts, but exists as the world's most profound medical academic theory. Finally, let us shout together: Chinese Culture, Number One in the World, Unmatched Under Heaven. Let countries around the world look at Chinese culture with new eyes again. I am proud all my life to be a descendant of Yan and Huang.

I bought a classroom specifically for the teaching of the Ren Ji Class. Today, the transfer was completed, to facilitate long-term use without changing addresses. After finishing Ren Ji, it can be used for case update teaching. Of course, only graduates of the Ren Ji Class can participate. Every year I will return to Taiwan to create cases from the latest patients I treated in the US, allowing students to contact my actual clinical experience more closely. Through case research, they can update and flexibly apply the learned medical knowledge.
