The shell of Amomum villosum (Sha Ren), ground into powder and applied topically, cures immediately.
Five fresh Mu Bei Ren (Seed of Momordica cochinchinensis) of each "yin" and "yang" type are ground finely to make seven pills. Cover them with a bowl in a humid place to prevent drying. Dissolve one pill with saliva and apply it to the hemorrhoid; pain stops immediately. One pill per night leads to spontaneous resolution.
Note by Geng Sheng: There is a distinction between Fan Bie (shell-less) and Tu Bie (shelled) for Mu Bei Zi, but no distinction between male and female. Since hemorrhoids present in various forms, there are numerous prescriptions. I once tested a prescription that was mild and effective, which is appended below.
First, wash the hemorrhoid clean with Licorice Decoction (Gan Cao Tang). Then, decoct five pieces of Chinese Gall (Wu Bei Zi) and two liang of Prunella vulgaris (Li Zhi Cao) in a clay pot for fumigation and washing. This cures the condition. Li Zhi Cao, also known as Toadgrass, is available all year round; look for those with green upper surfaces, white undersides, dense pitted textures, and a peculiar odor.
Powdered aged moss vegetable (Tai Cai) applied topically reduces swelling and promotes wound closure, leading to recovery. All trials have been effective. Note: For Ding Chuang Zou Huang (carbuncle toxin spreading inward), urgently administer juice extracted from crushed Banana Root (Ba Jiao Gen); this is also effective.
Those that are not swollen are [referring to specific lesions].
Store natural pyrite (Zi Ran Tong) in a water jar. Use this water for daily meals and drinking; the goiter will spontaneously resolve.
Scrape one sheng (approx. 1 liter) of skin from old ginger. Place it in an old, greasy pot without washing. Seal tightly with mud to prevent gas leakage. Have a careful person tend to it, simmering with alternating mild and strong heat, avoiding high fire. It is ready from morning to evening. Grind into powder. After plucking white hairs, use a small pin to apply the powder into pores the size of a hemp seed, or first apply under the beard...
Men and women who consume raw or hard foods may experience stagnation in the intestines and stomach, leading to parasitic infestation. Over time, they crave raw rice; otherwise, they feel unhappy all day, becoming emaciated, sallow, and anorexic. Soak Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae (Cang Zhu) in rice-washing water overnight, cut, dry, and grind into powder. Make pills using steamed dough, sized like wutong seeds. Take 50 pills per dose with rice water, three times a day, until cured.
Ash obtained by burning rice bran (Nuomi Kang) should be rubbed on the affected area daily; the yellow discoloration will naturally fade.
Soak four liang of Sichuan Pepper (Chuan Jiao) in wine. Apply daily; hair will grow back naturally.
The skin resembles snake scales. This is caused by qi and blood stagnation and obstruction, also known as fetal dirt.
Remove the mouthparts of White Silkworm (Bai Jiang Can), grind into powder, and decoct for bathing. Recovery occurs like a snake shedding its skin.
