用通圣散及蚯蚓泥，略炒，蜜调，敷患处为妙。若从肚腹上起者，里热发外，还服通圣散。
牙痛，用南星为末，霜梅 过，取其引涎。以荆芥、薄荷散风热，青盐入肾、入骨，常擦噙之。蛀牙，以芦荟、
白胶香为末，塞孔中。阳明风热牙疼，大黄、香附各烧存性，等分，入青盐少许，上为细末，无时擦之。牙齿疏
阔，用白羊胫骨烧灰存性一两，升麻一钱，黄连半钱，为末擦之。口噤牙关不开，霜梅蘸白矾、僵蚕末，一擦便开。
寒热肿牙疼，调胃承气汤加黄连。虫蛀牙用蟾酥。牙痛，用梧桐律少加麝香擦之。牙大痛，必用糊椒、荜茇，
能散其中浮热，监以升麻、寒水石，佐以辛凉薄荷、荆芥、细辛之类，制木。又方，用凉药使痛不开，宜从治，荜茇、
川椒、薄荷、荆芥、细辛、樟脑、青盐。牙痛甚者，防风、羌活、青盐入内，细辛、荜茇、川椒定痛。又方∶蒲
公英烧灰，香附、白芷、青盐。阴虚牙出鲜血气郁，以四物汤加牛膝、香附、生甘草节、侧柏叶。牙肿痛，升麻、白
芷、防风、荆芥、薄荷、甘草、桔梗之类。上牙痛灸三里穴，下牙疼灸三间穴。虫蛀牙，用巴豆熏之，否，用玉线
子绿豆粉半两，人言一钱，麝香半钱。固齿方∶羊胫骨（烧灰存性三钱） 当归（二钱） 白芷 猪牙皂角 青盐（以
上各一钱） 上为末擦之。
使用通圣散（防风通圣散）及蚯蚓泥，稍微炒制后，用蜂蜜调和，外敷于患处最为适宜。如果皮疹从腹部开始出现，这是体内热邪向外发散的表现，应当继续服用通圣散。
治疗牙痛，将天南星研成粉末，用经霜的梅子捣烂取汁以引吐涎液。配合荆芥、薄荷疏散风热，青盐入肾经、入骨，经常含漱擦拭。对于蛀牙，将芦荟、白胶香研成粉末，塞入虫孔中。阳明经风热引起的牙疼，将大黄、香附各烧至存性（保留药性但炭化），等量混合，加入少许青盐，研成细末，随时涂抹患处。牙齿稀疏松动，用白羊胫骨烧灰存性一两，升麻一钱，黄连半钱，研成粉末擦拭牙齿。口噤牙关紧闭无法张开，用经霜的梅子蘸取白矾、僵蚕的粉末，擦拭一次即可张开。寒热交作且肿胀的牙疼，用调胃承气汤加入黄连。虫蛀牙使用蟾酥。牙痛，用梧桐律（一种药材）少量加入麝香擦拭。牙齿剧烈疼痛，必须使用胡椒、荜茇，能散除其中的浮热，并用升麻、寒水石监制，辅以辛凉性质的薄荷、荆芥、细辛等药物，以制约肝木之火。另一方，使用凉性药物使疼痛不发作，宜采用反治法，选用荜茇、川椒、薄荷、荆芥、细辛、樟脑、青盐。牙痛严重的，加入防风、羌活、青盐，再用细辛、荜茇、川椒定痛。又一方法：蒲公英烧成灰，配伍香附、白芷、青盐。阴虚导致牙龈出血且伴有气郁症状，用四物汤加入牛膝、香附、生甘草节、侧柏叶。牙龈肿痛，使用升麻、白芷、防风、荆芥、薄荷、甘草、桔梗等药物。上牙痛艾灸足三里穴，下牙痛灸三间穴。虫蛀牙，用巴豆熏蒸；否则，用玉线子绿豆粉半两，人言（即砒霜，需极度谨慎使用）一钱，麝香半钱。固齿方：羊胫骨（烧灰存性三钱）、当归（二钱）、白芷、猪牙皂角、青盐（以上各一钱），研成粉末擦拭牙齿。
Apply Tongsheng San (Wind-Blocking Unblocking Powder) mixed with earthworm mud, slightly stir-fried and blended with honey, applied topically to the affected area for optimal effect. If the eruption originates from the abdomen, indicating interior heat radiating outward, continue administering Tongsheng San.
For toothache, grind Arisaema Cum Bile (Nanxing) into powder, process with frost-bitten plum (Shuangmei) to extract juice for inducing salivation/drainage. Combine with Schizonepetae Herba (Jingjie) and Menthae Haplocalycis Herba (Bohe) to disperse wind-heat; use Halitum (Qingyan/Salt) which enters the Kidney and bones, for frequent rinsing and rubbing. For dental caries, fill the cavity with powder of Aloe (Luhui) and Liquidambaris Resina (Baijiaoxiang). For toothache caused by Wind-Heat in the Yangming channel, burn Rhubarb (Dahuang) and Cyperi Rhizoma (Xiangfu) until carbonized but retaining efficacy, mix in equal parts, add a small amount of Halitum, grind into fine powder, and apply as needed. For loose teeth, use one tael of Ash of Caprae Ossa (Yangjinggu - sheep shin bone carbonized), one qian of Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Shengma), and half a qian of Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), grind into powder for application. For trismus (lockjaw) where the jaw cannot open, dip frost-bitten plum in powder of Alum (Baifan) and Bombyx Batryticatus (Jiangcan), rub once to release. For toothache accompanied by chills, fever, and swelling, use Tiaowei Chengqi Decoction (Regulate the Stomach and Order the Qi Decoction) added with Coptidis Rhizoma. For dental caries caused by worms, use Chan Su (Toad Venom). For toothache, rub with Wutonglü (a specific medicinal material) with a small amount of Moschus (Shexiang). For severe toothache, Piperis Longi Fructus (Huajiao/Bayberry) and Pipernigrus Fructus (Bibo/Long pepper) are essential to dissipate floating heat, monitored by Cimicifugae Rhizoma and Arctii Fructus? No, Han Shui Shi (Calcitum/Gypsum?), assisted by acrid-cool herbs like Menthae Haplocalycis Herba, Schizonepetae Herba, and Asari Radix et Rhizoma (Xixin) to subdue Liver Wood fire. Another prescription: Use cooling medicines to prevent pain onset, suitable for counter-treatment (Fan Zhi), using Pipernigrus Fructus, Zanthoxyli Pericarpium (Chuanjiao), Menthae Haplocalycis Herba, Schizonepetae Herba, Asari Radix et Rhizoma, Camphora (Zhangnao), and Halitum. For severe toothache, add Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng) and Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo), and Halitum; use Asari Radix et Rhizoma, Pipernigrus Fructus, and Zanthoxyli Pericarpium to alleviate pain. Another method: Burn Taraxaci Herba (Pugongying) to ash, combine with Cyperi Rhizoma, Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi), and Halitum. For Yin deficiency causing bleeding gums accompanied by Qi stagnation, use Siwu Tang (Four Substances Decoction) added with Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix (Niuxi), Cyperi Rhizoma, raw Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma tips (Sheng Gancaojie), and Platycladi Cacumen (Cebaiye). For swollen and painful gums, use Cimicifugae Rhizoma, Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, Saposhnikoviae Radix, Schizonepetae Herba, Menthae Haplocalycis Herba, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, and Platycodonis Radix (Jiegeng). For upper toothache, moxa the Zusanli (ST36) acupoint; for lower toothache, moxa the Sanjian (LI3) acupoint. For dental caries, fumigate with Crotonis Fructus (Badou); otherwise, use Yuxianzi mung bean powder 0.5 liang, Realgar? No, Renyan (Arsenic Trioxide, highly toxic), 1 qian, and Moschus 0.5 qian. Teeth-firming formula: Carbonized Sheep Shin Bone (Sanqian), Danggui (Erqian), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus (Zhuyazaojiao), and Halitum (each one qian), grind into powder for application.
