(This formula is also known as Dachengqi Tang (Major Order the Qi Decoction))
It should be taken only when injuries are extremely severe and both urination and defecation are obstructed. Mutong (Akebiae Caulis) can be added for decoction. If obstruction persists, Puxiao (Natrii Sulfas) may be added. Only after urination and defecation are restored can medicines for treating injuries be administered. Medicines for treating injuries must not be decocted with wine, as this will exacerbate the obstruction. Dosage must also be adjusted according to the patient's robustness or frailty; pregnant women and children should not take it.

Crush the above ingredients. Take 2 qian per dose. Add 1.5 zhan of water, boil until bubbling once, strain, and take warm. Time of administration is unrestricted. This formula specifically treats severe trauma in men where blood stasis does not dissipate, causing abdominal distension, obstruction of urination and defecation, and stasis attacking the heart and abdomen, leading to severe chest oppression, confusion, and even death. Urgently administer this medicine to purge the blood stasis before taking other injury-treating medicines.

The therapeutic effect is the same as Dacheng Tang, but this formula is milder in strength.
