可惜许，可惜许，可惜元阳宫里生，一点既出颜色枯，百神泣送真阳去。三魂喜，七魄无，
血败气衰将何补，弄元真物属他人，赤宅元君谁做主？劝世人，须慕道，休慕色，慕色贪淫有何
益？不念形骸积渐枯，逢人强说丹砂力。丹砂力，人不识，谁人肯向身中觅，灵源经里号真铅，
丹华诀内名金液。三茅真君唤作一，子得一时万事毕，圣人秘一不能传，不晓分明暗如漆。一神
去，百神离，百神去后人不知，几度欲说不欲说，临时一点泄天机。一神离，百神悲，日后形悴
却如痴，我今念念说向汝，说时又恐泄天机。男子修成
不漏精，女子修成不漏经，精不漏兮身不朽，经不漏兮可长生。若晓此玄玄外法，便是长生物外人。
与君直说长生理，世上能有几人知。争名逐利心如火，那个回头问道机，哀哉忙忙世上
人，个个不醒似梦里。夜眠昼走岂知老，贪恋荣华秋复春。秋复春兮去如飞，不学长生待几
时。长生有路无人走，只在眼前人不知。君不知兮为君指，还丹大要在神水。真人炼就结成
铅，真铅结汞龙凤髓。腻如膏，白如雪，神仙留下真秘诀。炼归元海号还丹，万神灵兮三尸灭
。三尸灭兮寿数多，把定灵关降龙虎。三千功行自能灵，返老还童归洞府。运匹配，逆顺取，
坎男离女喜同归。自古神仙诀尽同，人人认取本来宗。朝朝只在君家舍，何劳外觅走西东。劝
君急急早须修，莫待红颜变白头。忽然至宝离身去，永劫千生何处求。
可惜啊，真可惜，那元阳之气生于元阳宫（指人体下丹田或肾间动气之处），一旦泄露出去，面色就会枯槁，百神哭泣着送别这真阳离去。三魂欢喜，七魄却无依，血液败坏、气息衰微，靠什么来补救？把弄那元真之物（指精气）最终属于他人，赤宅元君（指心神或体内主宰之神）由谁来做主？
劝告世人，应当仰慕大道，不要贪恋美色。贪恋美色、沉溺淫欲有什么益处呢？不念及形体逐渐枯萎，见到别人就强行吹嘘丹砂（外丹药物）的功效。丹砂的功效，人们并不真正理解，谁愿意向自身内部去探寻呢？《灵源经》里称之为“真铅”，《丹华诀》内命名为“金液”。
三茅真君将其称为“一”（指道、元气或先天一气），你得到了这个“一”，万事便都圆满。圣人保守这个“一”而不轻易传授，如果不明白其中的奥妙，就像在黑暗中一样无知。一个神离去，百神分离；百神离去后，后人便不知其理。几次想要说却又不敢说，关键时刻泄露了天机。一个神离去，百神悲伤；日后形体憔悴，人变得痴呆。我今天念念不忘地告诉你，但说话时又恐怕泄露了天机。
男子修炼成功做到不漏精，女子修炼成功做到不漏经。精不漏则身体不朽，经不漏则可长生。如果懂得这种玄妙之外的方法，就是超脱于常物之外的人。
直接与你说明长生的道理，世上能有几个人知道？争名逐利的心像火一样炽热，谁肯回头探究大道的玄机？可悲啊，忙碌的世人，个个都不清醒，如同在梦中。夜晚睡觉白天奔波，哪里知道衰老已至？贪恋荣华富贵，春秋往复。春秋往复如飞逝去，不学习长生之道还要等待几时？长生有路却无人行走，就在眼前人们却不知道。你不知道，我为你指点，还丹的关键在于神水。真人炼化结成铅，真铅结合汞形成龙凤髓。细腻如膏脂，洁白如雪花，这是神仙留下的真秘诀。炼归元海（下丹田）称为还丹，万种神灵显现，三尸虫消灭。三尸虫消灭则寿命延长，把定灵关（关键窍穴）以降伏龙虎（阴阳精气）。三千功行自然通灵，返老还童回归洞府。运用匹配之法，逆顺取用，坎男离女（指心肾、水火、阴阳）喜欢一同回归。自古以来的神仙口诀全都相同，人人只要认清本来的宗源。它每天只在你家中（指身体内），何必劳苦向外寻找，奔波东西。劝你赶快尽早修炼，不要等到红颜变成白头。忽然间至宝离开身体，永劫千生去哪里寻求？
Alas, truly alas! That Yuan Yang Qi (Primordial Yang Energy) is born in the Yuan Yang Palace (referring to the lower Dantian or the moving qi between the kidneys). Once it leaks out, the complexion withers, and the hundred deities weep as they see off this True Yang. The Three Souls rejoice, but the Seven Po have no anchor; blood deteriorates, Qi declines—what can supplement them? To play with that Yuan Zhen Wu (Primordial True Substance, i.e., Jing/Essence) ultimately benefits others; who shall be the master of the Chi Zhai Yuan Jun (Red House Primordial Lord, referring to the Heart Spirit or internal governing deity)?
I advise the world to revere the Dao and not to covet lust. What benefit is there in coveting beauty and indulging in lewdness? One fails to reflect on how the physical form gradually withers, yet forcefully boasts to others about the power of Cinnabar (Waidan/External Elixir). The power of Cinnabar is unrecognized by people; who is willing to seek within their own body? In the *Lingyuan Jing* (Scripture of the Spiritual Source), it is called "True Lead" (Zhen Qian); within the *Dan Hua Jue*, it is named "Golden Fluid" (Jin Ye).
The True Lord of Sanmao refers to it as "One" (Yi, representing the Dao, Primordial Qi, or Pre-Heavenly Unity). If you obtain this "One," all matters are completed. The Sages guard this "One" and do not transmit it easily. Without clear understanding, one remains as blind as if in darkness. When one Spirit departs, a hundred Spirits separate; when a hundred Spirits depart, later generations know nothing. I have wanted to speak many times but hesitated, finally revealing a hint of Heaven's Secret at the critical moment. When one Spirit departs, a hundred Spirits mourn; subsequently, the physical frame becomes emaciated, and the person acts like an idiot. I now think of you constantly and tell you, yet while speaking, I fear leaking Heaven's Secret.
If a man cultivates successfully to prevent the leakage of Essence (Jing), and a woman cultivates successfully to prevent the leakage of Menses (Jing), then: if Essence does not leak, the body becomes imperishable; if Menses do not leak, longevity is possible. If one understands this profound method beyond the mundane, one becomes an outsider among living things.
I will speak directly to you about the principle of longevity. How many in the world can know it? Hearts striving for fame and profit burn like fire; who turns back to inquire about the mysteries of the Dao? Alas, the busy people of the world, all unawake, as if in a dream. Sleeping at night and running during the day, how do they know old age has arrived? Greedy for glory and wealth, autumn follows spring. Autumn and spring fly away like lightning; if one does not learn the way of longevity, how long must one wait? There is a path to longevity, yet no one walks it; it is right before one's eyes, yet people do not know. You do not know, so I point it out for you: the key to the Huan Dan (Returning Elixir) lies in Shen Shui (Divine Water). The True Person refines it to form Lead; True Lead combines with Mercury to create the Marrow of Dragon and Phoenix. Fine as paste, white as snow, this is the true secret left by immortals. Refined back into the Yuan Hai (Primordial Sea/Lower Dantian), it is called Huan Dan; myriad spiritual manifestations appear, and the Three Corpses (Sanshi) are extinguished. When the Three Corpses are extinguished, lifespan increases; guarding the Ling Guan (Spiritual Pass/Critical Acupoint) subdues the Dragon and Tiger (Yang and Yin energies). With three thousand merits and deeds, spirituality arises naturally; returning to youth, one returns to the Cave Mansion. Applying matching methods, taking advantage of reversal and順 (Ni and Shun), Kan Man (Water/Male) and Li Nu (Fire/Female) joyfully return together. Since ancient times, all immortal formulas are the same; everyone should recognize their original source. It resides daily in your own house (your body); why labor to seek outside, running east and west? I advise you to cultivate urgently and early; do not wait until rosy cheeks turn to white hair. Suddenly, the supreme treasure leaves the body; through eternal kalpas and thousands of lifetimes, where can it be sought?
