For treating acute infantile convulsion (Ji Jing Feng) with impending death, one dose can immediately restore life.
Take Huanglian powder, Xiangmo powder, Baifan powder (each 2 qian), Lushen (1.8 qian), Niuhuang (separately ground), Qingdai (flown and purified), Shijunrou (shelled and purified, each 1 qian), Chensha (1.5 qian, separately ground), Shexiang (0.5 fen, separately ground), Bingpian (2 pieces, separately ground), Jinbo (10 pieces).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder, use wheat paste to form pills the size of soybeans, coat with Jinbo. Take one pill per dose, washed down with Bohe Tang (Mint Decoction).
On the noon hour of the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, collect white-headed earthworms in any quantity, remove mud, dry by roasting, and grind into powder. Add an equal amount of Chensha, mix with glutinous rice paste to form pills the size of mung beans, coat with Jinbo. Take one pill per dose, washed down with plain warm water. When collecting earthworms, first cut them into two segments with a knife; observe their reaction upon breaking: those that struggle quickly are used for acute infantile convulsion, while those that struggle slowly are used for chronic infantile convulation. This method is prepared in two batches and yields excellent results.
It also treats adult wind-stroke (Zhong Feng) and phlegm-obstruction (Zhong Tan), with immediate effect after one dose. Do not accept gratitude gifts; if tea or wine from the patient's household is consumed, the efficacy will be lost.
Take raw Baishigao (Gypsum Fibrosum) ground into powder, 10 liang, and Chensha (Cinnabar) ground into powder, 5 qian. Mix the two ingredients evenly. For dosage: adults take 3 qian; children aged 1-3 years take 1 qian; aged 4-7 years take 1.5 qian; aged 8-12 years take 2 qian; aged 13-16 years take 2.5 qian. Mix with fresh ginger juice and honey to wash down, yielding immediate results. Note: These two formulas are inexpensive yet extremely effective, proving reliable through repeated use.
Pediatric gan syndrome (Gan Zheng) arises from food accumulation in the spleen, where weak spleen-earth allows liver-wood to overact. Prolonged accumulation, combined with damage from cold/raw foods and rich flavors, leads to gan syndrome. Symptoms include abdominal distension, visible veins, tidal fever, coughing, and protrusion of chest bones. The treatment principle focuses on regulating the spleen and stomach and nourishing blood and qi, followed by eliminating accumulation, killing parasites, and dispersing gan heat.
Prescription: Baizhu (Half jin), Zhen Maoshan Cangzhu (Half jin), Chenpi (One jin, peel retained), Houpo (One jin, stir-fried with half jin Ganjiang soaked in water until moist), Zhishi (One jin, mixed with four liang Kushen and one jin good burning wine, sealed in a box for one hour, then dried, removing Kushen), Yuyuliang (One jin, substitute with Shehanshi if unavailable), Shenqu (One jin, stir-fried), Muli (Calcined seven times, quenched in tongbian seven times, purified, one jin), Qinghao (One jin, processed with tongbian into powder), Shanzha (Pitted, one jin), Biejia (Vinegar-processed, one jin), Huhuanglian (Half jin), Lushen (Four liang), Shijunzi (Shelled and purified meat, four liang), Yemingsha (Washed clean, four liang), Heshi (Any quantity).

Mix with one jin of flour to form a dough, shaping into pills the size of mung beans. Coat with half jin of Gancao powder, four liang of Leiwan powder, and four liang of Xiaohuixiang powder.
