It also treats jaundice, wind-cold-damp bi syndrome, expels pus, and treats sores, boils, hemorrhoids, and traumatic injuries with blood stasis, all of which are effective. For those poisoned by gu poison who vomit material resembling rotten liver, it is considered the most crucial remedy. It also tonifies the middle jiao and bladder insufficiency, and is a fine medicine for stopping enuresis and seminal emission. When preparing, slice with a copper knife and stir-fry; avoid iron and lead, and beware of incompatibility with Shugau (Paeonia lactiflora).
