芩连芍药汤
（证附） 贝母丹皮芍并连，黄芩甘草可同煎，舌疮热肿兼疼痛，君火
上升治莫延。
桂枝地黄汤
（证附） 芍地当归共桂枝，阿胶甘草用相宜，舌卷只是因肝燥，救急须将妙药施。
〔牙痛提纲〕 牙疼不外火兼风，龈肿都缘胃逆攻，甲木郁沉湿土内，因教齿坏又生虫。
黄芩石膏汤
（证附） 石膏甘草共升麻，芍药黄芩半夏加，因火牙疼龈并肿，煎汤服后效堪夸。
柴胡桃仁汤
（证附） 骨碎能将肾水滋，柴胡散郁效神奇，桃仁破瘀膏清热，牙内虫生却可医。
〔咽喉提纲〕 脏通喉窍腑通咽，浊降清升法地天，一自逆行虚火动，肿疼痹塞病相连。
甘草桔梗射干汤
（证附） 半夏桔甘并射干，除邪破郁是仙丹，咽喉肿痛生疮候，火热能消治不难。
贝母升麻鳖甲汤
（证附） 升麻贝母共丹皮，鳖甲元参并用宜，喉内生疮当速治，脓成服此总堪医。
〔声音提纲〕 声气专司是肺金，倘经湿旺便成喑，语音不亮神偏病，当助清阳抑浊阴。
茯苓橘皮杏仁汤
（证附） 杏夏生姜共橘皮，茯苓百合要兼施，声音不亮全由肺，用药宣通病可医。
百合桔梗鸡子汤
（证附） 驱风桔梗用宜专，百合清金肺气宣，五味更兼鸡子白，失声喑哑总能痊。
【舌病提纲】
舌头本是心的外窍，心火（君火）上炎必然导致干燥，出现疼痛、口渴、烦躁兼有红肿，舌苔呈现各种颜色需要仔细观察。
芩连芍药汤
（证候附注）
贝母、丹皮、芍药与黄连，黄芩和甘草可以一同煎煮，治疗舌疮、热肿兼有疼痛，因心火上炎所致，治疗不可拖延。

芍药、地黄、当归共同配合桂枝，阿胶和甘草使用适宜，舌体卷缩仅仅是因为肝燥，急救时必须施用妙药。
【牙痛提纲】
牙疼不外乎火邪兼夹风邪，牙龈肿胀都源于胃气上逆攻冲，甲木（肝胆之气）郁结沉陷于湿土（脾胃）之内，因此导致牙齿损坏又生虫蛀。

石膏、甘草共同配合升麻，芍药、黄芩、半夏加入，因火邪导致的牙疼及牙龈肿胀，煎汤服用后疗效值得称赞。
柴胡桃仁汤
（证候附注）
骨碎补能够滋补肾水，柴胡疏散郁结效果神奇，桃仁破除瘀血，石膏清热，牙齿内的虫蛀却可以医治。
【咽喉提纲】
五脏通过窍道通于喉，六腑通道通于咽，浊气下降清气上升效法天地，一旦气机逆行虚火发动，肿痛痹塞疾病相连。
甘草桔梗射干汤

半夏、桔梗、甘草并配合射干，祛除邪气破除郁结是仙丹，咽喉肿痛生疮的症状，火热之邪能消除，治疗不难。
贝母升麻鳖甲汤
（证候附注）
升麻、贝母共同配合丹皮，鳖甲和玄参并用适宜，喉内生疮应当迅速治疗，脓液形成服用此方总可医治。
【声音提纲】
声音和气专门由肺金主管，倘若湿气旺盛便成为失音，语音不响亮神志偏于有病，应当辅助清阳抑制浊阴。

Qinlian Shaoyao Decoction (Coptis, Scutellaria, Peony, and Rehmannia Decoction)

Fritillariae Bulbus (Beimu), Paeoniae Radix Rubra (Danpi), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Shaoyao), and Coptidis Rhizoma (Lianhuang); Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin) and Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) can be decocted together. It treats tongue ulcers, heat-induced swelling, and pain caused by the rising of Ministerial Fire; treatment should not be delayed.
Guizhi Dihuang Decoction (Cinnamon Twig and Rehmannia Decoction)
(Attached Syndrome Description)
Paeoniae Radix Alba (Shaoyao), Rehmanniae Radix Preparata (Dihuang), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), and Cinnamomi Ramulus (Guizhi) are combined; prepared Rehmanniae Radix (Ejiao) and Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) are suitable. Tongue deviation is solely due to Liver dryness; in emergencies, miraculous medicines must be applied.
[Outline of Toothache]
Toothache is not outside the scope of Fire pathogen combined with Wind pathogen. Gingival swelling stems from Stomach Qi rebelling upward. Jia Wood (Liver/Gallbladder Qi) stagnates and sinks within Shi Earth (Spleen/Stomach dampness), thereby causing dental decay and worm infestation.
Huangqin Shigao Decoction (Scutellaria and Gypsum Decoction)

Gypsum (Shigao) and Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) combine with Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Shengma); Paeoniae Radix Alba (Shaoyao), Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin), and Pinelliae Rhizoma (Banxia) are added. For toothache and gingival swelling caused by Fire, the efficacy after decocting and taking the soup is praiseworthy.
Chaihu Taoren Decoction (Bupleurum and Peach Kernel Decoction)

Drynariae Rhizoma (Gusuibu) can nourish Kidney Water; Bupleuri Radix (Chaihu) disperses stagnation with magical effects; Persicariae Semen (Taoren) breaks blood stasis, and Gypsum (Shigao) clears heat; toothworms can be treated.
[Outline of Throat Diseases]
The Five Zang organs connect via orifices to the throat (Hou), while the Six Fu organs connect to the pharynx (Yan). Turbid Qi descends and Clear Qi ascends, following the pattern of Heaven and Earth. Once Qi mechanism reverses and Deficient Fire moves, swelling, pain, obstruction, and blockage diseases follow one another.
Gancao Jiegeng Yegan Decoction (Licorice, Platycodon, and Belamcanda Decoction)

Pinelliae Rhizoma (Banxia), Platycodonis Radix (Jiegeng), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao), and Belamcandae Rhizoma (Yegan) are used together. To eliminate pathogens and break stagnation is like a divine pill. For symptoms of sore throat, swelling, pain, and ulceration, clearing Heat is easy to treat.
Beimu Shengma Biejia Decoction (Fritillaria, Cimicifuga, and Turtle Shell Decoction)

Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Shengma) and Fritillariae Bulbus (Beimu) combine with Paeoniae Radix Rubra (Danpi); Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum (Biejia) and Scrophulariae Radix (Yuanshen) are suitably used together. Ulcers inside the throat must be treated promptly; once pus forms, taking this formula is generally curative.
[Outline of Voice Disorders]
Voice and Qi are exclusively governed by Lung Metal. If Dampness becomes excessive, aphonia results. Unresonant voice indicates mental disturbance; one should assist Clear Yang and suppress Turbid Yin.
Fuling Juqi Xingren Decoction (Poria, Tangerine Peel, and Apricot Seed Decoction)

Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xingren), Pinelliae Rhizoma (Banxia), Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang), and Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Juapi) combine together; Poria (Fuling) and Lilii Bulbus (Baihe) must be administered simultaneously. Unresonant voice is entirely due to the Lung; using medications to diffuse and unblock can cure the disease.
Baihe Jiegeng Jizi Decoction (Lily, Platycodon, and Egg White Decoction)

For dispelling Wind, Platycodonis Radix (Jiegfang) should be used exclusively; Lily Bulb (Baihe) clears and moistens the Metal organ, diffusing Lung Qi; Schisandrae Fructus (Wuweizi) combined with Album Ovi Galli (Jizi Bai) can completely cure aphonia and hoarseness.
