Ge Qi (Diaphragmatic Qi Stagnation), along with pain and oppression in the chest, Qi masses rushing upward from the abdomen, vomiting of froth and saliva, symptoms resembling Fan Wei (Regurgitation), a sense of mental confusion and unease as if fearing capture by others, palpitations and anxiety, Ge Jue (Obstruction and Reversal of Yin and Yang), transformation into strange disorders, caused by irregular eating (overeating or starvation), excessive worry and overthinking, leading to Zao Za (Sour Regurgitation/Discomfort) below the heart, either pain or hiccups, either fullness day and night despite emptiness, or hunger without desire to eat, acute and chronic Hou Bi (Throat Closure), red eyes, each time using Jia Jian (Modified Formula). All new and old Phlegm-induced asthma and cough, or vomiting, dizziness, and vertigo, take Jia Jian. All cases of swelling and hardness of the cheeks and jaw resembling Luo Li (Scrofula), as well as mouth ulcers, tongue erosion, and sores in the throat, take 60-70 pills per dose, add a little honey, chew thoroughly and hold in the mouth, swallowing slowly while sleeping. For those who previously had mouth ulcers, take 20-30 pills, hold in the mouth according to the previous method, cured in two or three nights. All men, women, young and old, regardless of deficiency or excess, suffering from Xin Tong (Heart Pain) radiating to the abdomen, emaciated body, vomiting green water, black fluid, and cold saliva upon onset, even to the point of apparent death, yet with warmth below the heart, take Jia Jian adjusted for deficiency or excess. If occurring in unforeseen emergencies, up to 100 pills can immediately restore life.
