〔无〕治诸哽。煮薤白令半熟，以线缚定，手执线头，少嚼薤白咽之。度薤白至哽处，便牵
引哽即出矣。又法，用绵一小块，以蜜煮，用如食薤法。
〔世〕治骨哽入喉。
缩砂 甘草（各等分）
上为末，以绵裹少许噙之，旋旋咽津，久之即出。
骨哽，以乳香烧烟，吸入喉即吐出。

端，令不可脱，先下咽中，轻提轻抑探之，觉钩入于钱窍，然后以纸卷纳之咽中，与钩尖相抵，
觉钩尖入纸卷之端，不碍肌肉，提之而出。
〔葛〕误吞钗。取薤白曝令萎黄，煮使熟勿切，食一大束，钗即随出。
〔丹〕治误吞钱钗及环。用饴糖一片，渐渐食之，自出。（《外台秘要》）

治吞钱及铁物在喉者，不得下。南烛根，烧细末，汤调一钱下之。

又方，误吞铜钱。用家茨菰取汁，呷饮自消。（见《山居方》）
〔《外》〕误吞钱并金银等物。以糊粉一两，捣调之，分再服。如吞金银物在腹中，以水银
服之，令消烊。
〔无〕凡治哽之法，皆以类推。如鸬 治鱼哽，磁石治针哽，发灰治发哽，狸虎治骨哽，
亦各从其类也。
【无】治疗各种异物哽喉。将薤白煮至半熟，用线将其捆扎固定，手持线头，少量咀嚼薤白并吞咽。待薤白到达哽处时，便牵拉引线，异物即可取出。另一种方法，取一小块绵絮，用蜂蜜煮过，使用方法同食薤白法。
【世传方】治疗骨刺哽入咽喉。

以上药物研为细末，用绵絮包裹少许含在口中，缓缓咽下津液，时间久了骨刺即可排出。
骨刺哽喉，将乳香烧出烟，吸入咽喉后随即吐出。
【《本草》】治疗各种鱼骨哽久不出方的方法。取少许皂角，吹入鼻中，引起喷嚏，鱼骨即可随而出。民间多秘藏此方。
【陈氏】獭足可主治鱼骨哽无法取出的情况。取獭足在患者项下抓爬，也可以煮汁服用。
【《外台秘要》】治疗哽噎，吞服蝼蛄胆一枚。也可用于治疗刺不出，敷贴患处则刺即出。
【《古金录》】治疗鱼骨横卡在喉中，六七日不出，取鲤鱼鳞皮合烧成屑，用水送服，骨刺即出；若未出再服。
以上为治疗骨刺哽的方法。
【张子和】有一个小孩误吞了一枚铜钱在喉中不下，众医皆不能取出，也不能推下，于是请戴人诊治。戴人深思之后，忽然想到一计策，用干净的白纸卷实如筷子粗细，用刀在纸卷一端纵横乱割，使其呈刷状；又另取一根筷子，将针钩绑在其端，使其不脱落。先让患者咽下纸卷，轻轻提抑探查，感觉钩子进入铜钱的孔窍后，再将纸卷纳入咽喉，与钩尖相抵，感觉钩尖进入纸卷末端且不损伤肌肉，提起即可取出。
【葛氏】误吞发钗。取薤白晒至萎黄，煮至熟透不要切碎，吃下一大束，发钗即可随之排出。
【朱丹溪】治疗误吞铜钱、发钗及戒指。用饴糖一片，慢慢食用，异物自会排出。（出自《外台秘要》）
以上为治疗铜钱哽的方法。
【世传方】治疗骨刺哽。槿树叶油、马屁勃、砂糖三味药，熬膏制成丸剂，含化多次有效。
治疗骨刺哽伴喉痛。用水牛屎上长出的蘑菇，晒干研为细末，用砂糖制成丸剂，徐徐咽下，仍用砂糖为衣，否则损伤牙齿。
【《外台秘要》】治疗鱼骨哽在喉中，取少许砂仁口内咀嚼，咽下立效。
【世传方】治疗鱼骨哽，用玉簪花根，研细取汁，用竹管灌入喉中，不可接触牙齿，接触则牙齿酥软。骨刺哽，用萱草根汁服用，相传可以立刻看到骨头下行。（邵雍说：萱草即鹿葱，又名宜男。）另一方法，鱼骨哽，细嚼萝卜，徐徐咽下可愈。

[Non-specified] Treatment for various foreign bodies stuck in the throat. Boil Allii Macrostemonis Bulbus (Xiebai) until half-cooked, bind it securely with a thread, hold the end of the thread, chew a small amount of Xiebai and swallow. When the Xiebai reaches the site of impaction, pull the thread to extract the foreign body. Another method: take a small piece of cotton, boil it in honey, and use it as in the method of eating Xiebai.
[Worldly/Popular Method] Treatment for bone splinters stuck in the throat.
Amomum Villosum Seed (Suosha), Licorice Root (Gancao) (equal parts).
Grind the above into powder, wrap a small amount in cotton, hold in the mouth, and slowly swallow saliva; after a long time, the bone will be expelled.
For bone stuck in the throat, burn Frankincense (Ruxiang) until smoke is produced, inhale the smoke into the throat, and then spit out the bone.
[Bencao] Prescription for treating fish bones stuck in the throat for a long time. Take a small amount of Gleditsia Sinensis Fruit (Zaojiao), blow it into the nose to induce sneezing, which will expel the bone. This prescription is often kept secret by folk practitioners.
[Chen's Method] The foot of a water civet (Ta) can treat stubborn fish bone impactions. Rub the patient's neck with the civet foot, or boil the foot and drink the juice.
[Waishi Mi Yao] Treatment for choking: swallow one gallbladder of a mole (Loufu). It can also treat embedded thorns; applying it externally causes the thorn to be expelled.
[Gujin Lu] For fish bones transverse in the throat, remaining for six to seven days: burn carp scales and skin together to ash, mix with water, and ingest. The bone will be expelled; if not, repeat the dose.
The above are treatments for bone impactions.
[Zhang Hezi]: A child accidentally swallowed a coin that lodged in the throat. Physicians could neither remove nor push it down, so they summoned Dai Ren (Zhang Hezi). Dai Ren thought deeply and devised a plan: roll clean white paper tightly like a chopstick, cut the end crosswise with a knife to create a brush-like shape. Bind a hooked needle to the end of another chopstick to prevent detachment. First, have the patient swallow the paper roll, gently probing up and down. Once the hook enters the hole of the coin, insert the paper roll into the throat against the hook tip. Ensure the hook tip enters the end of the paper roll without damaging the mucosa, then lift to extract the coin.
[Ge's Method]: Accidental swallowing of a hairpin. Sun-dry Allii Macrostemonis Bulbus (Xiebai) until yellow and withered, boil until cooked without chopping, eat a large bundle, and the hairpin will be expelled along with it.
[Zhu Danxi]: Treatment for accidental swallowing of coins, hairpins, and rings. Eat a piece of Malt Sugar (Yitang) slowly; the object will come out spontaneously. (From Waishi Mi Yao)
The above are treatments for coin impactions.
[Popular Methods]: Treatment for bone impaction. Combine Jujube Leaf Oil (Jinshuye You), Polyporus Umbellatus (Mapibo), and Rock Sugar (Shatang), boil into an ointment, form pills, and dissolve in the mouth; repeated use is effective.
Treatment for bone impaction with sore throat: Use mushrooms growing on buffalo dung, dry them, grind into powder, form pills with rock sugar, and swallow slowly. Coat with rock sugar to avoid damaging teeth.
[Waishi Mi Yao]: For fish bones stuck in the throat, chew a small amount of Amomum Cardamomum Seed (Sharen) in the mouth and swallow; relief is immediate.
[Popular Methods]: For fish bone impaction, grind the root of Liriope Spicata (Yuzanhua Gen), extract the juice, and instill into the throat using a bamboo tube. Avoid contact with teeth, as it may soften them. For bone impaction, drink the juice of Hemerocallis Citrina Root (Xuancgen); legend says it allows one to see the bone descending. (Shao Yong stated: Xuancao is also known as Luzhong or Yinan.) Another method: for fish bone impaction, chew radish thoroughly and swallow slowly to cure.
[Zhu Danxi]: For fish bone impaction unresponsive to other methods: Form Malt Sugar (Tang) into pills the size of a chicken egg yolk, swallow, and the bone will be expelled immediately. (From Zhouhou Fang)
Treatment for various impactions: Boil several sheng of Fresh Mugwort Herb (Sheng Ai) in five sheng of water and five sheng of wine until four sheng remain. Drink when slightly warm. (From Waishi)
[Popular Methods]: Fish bone impaction. Crush Broussonetia Papyrifera Fruits (Chuzi) to extract natural juice, filter, and drink. Alternatively, dry and grind into powder, mix with water, and drink. (Chuzi refers to Broussonetia fruits.) Another formula uses Broussonetia Bark.
[Yanyi]: Olives taste astringent but become sweet after prolonged chewing. Chew and swallow the juice to treat fish bone impaction.
[Waishi Mi Yao]: Treatment for choking: Grind Shepherd's Purse Herb (Qumai) into powder, mix with water, and take one cunbi dose.
[Bencao]: Treatment for bone impaction: Use only White Poria (Baifuling), freshly sliced and ground into powder. Mix with decoction made from the swallowed bone and ingest.
[Popular Methods]: For chicken bone impaction, crush Shuilian Cao, extract juice, and drink; the bone dissolves. For bone impaction, wash wild Ramie Root (Yezhu Gen), crush into paste, use a quantity the size of a longan. If injured by chicken bone, dissolve in chicken soup. If injured by fish bone, dissolve in fish soup. For all bone impactions, chew Golden Phoenix Flower Seeds (Jinfenghua Zi) and hold in mouth; roots can be used if seeds are unavailable.
[Shanju Fang]: For accidental swallowing of rice awns or wheat awns into the pharynx: urgently instill saliva from a goose's mouth, or chew Jian Tou Cao; both are effective.
[Zhu Danxi]: Fish bones causing stabbing pain in the abdomen: Decoct Zanthoxylum Bungeanum Juice (Zhuyu Zhi), drink one cup; the bone softens and passes. (From Shiliao)
[Zhu Danxi]: Treatment for swallowing coins: Take a handful of Artemisia argyi (Ai), add five sheng of water, decoct to one sheng, and take in one dose to pass the coin. (Qian Yi, Qiezhong Fang)
For swallowing coins or iron objects stuck in the throat: Burn Nan Zhu Gen (Nandina Root) to fine powder, mix with water, and take one qian dose.
[Shanju Fang]: Accidental swallowing of coins: Soak 4 liang of Stemona Tuber (Baibu Gen) in one sheng of wine overnight. Warm and drink one sheng, twice daily. (From Waishi Mi Yao)
Another method for accidental copper coin swallowing: Extract juice from cultivated Colocasia Esculenta (Jia Ciwu) and sip to dissolve. (See Shanju Fang)
[Waishi Mi Yao]: Accidental swallowing of coins, gold, silver, etc. Grind one liang of starch powder, mix, and divide into two doses. If gold or silver objects are swallowed and remain in the abdomen, ingest Mercury (Shuiyin) to melt and dissolve them.
[Non-specified]: All methods for treating impactions can be inferred by analogy. For example, cormorants treat fish bone impactions, magnetite treats needle impactions, burnt hair ash treats hair impactions, and leopard/tiger remedies treat bone impactions; each follows its corresponding nature/class.
