疝证门
Cold-dampness accumulates internally for a long time, and is subsequently invaded by wind-cold and water-dampness, resulting in a cold, hard, and painful scrotum, forming Cold Hernia (Han Shan). Treatment should utilize Wutou Guizhi Tang (Aconite Twig Decoction) or Jinju Wan.
[Note]
Cold Hernia arises because children have previously consumed excessive amounts of raw and cold foods, or slept on damp ground, causing Yin-cold to knot internally and Qi stagnation to impede movement.
After accumulating for a long period, it is further constrained by wind-cold and injured by water-dampness.
Consequently, upon onset, the scrotum becomes cold, knotted, and hard, with pain radiating to and affecting the lower abdomen.
If the condition is newly acquired and accompanied by exterior symptoms, Wutou Guizhi Tang (Aconite Twig Decoction) is the primary formula; if the cold pathogen is severe, Jinju Wan is used for treatment.
(Wutou Guizhi Tang [Aconite Twig Decoction]) Ingredients: Guizhi (Cinnamon Twig), Chishao Yao (Red Peony Root), Zhi Gancao (Honey-fried Licorice Root), Wutou (Aconite Root). Preparation: Use Shengjiang (Fresh Ginger) as an adjuvant, decoct with water, and take orally.

Excessive consumption of rich flavors generates Damp-Heat, which, when triggered by wind-cold, forms Hernia Qi. The scrotum hangs loose, turns red and swollen, and suffers frequent stabbing pain; taking Wutou Zhizi Tang brings immediate relief.
[Note]
Children who habitually overconsume rich and greasy foods generate Damp-Heat internally. The Damp-Heat Qi descends and flows into the scrotum.
When constrained by wind-cold, the Hernia syndrome is formed. Upon onset, the scrotum hangs loose, becomes red and swollen, and experiences frequent stabbing pain.
One should regulate and treat with Wutou Zhizi Tang, so that the hernia may be cured.
