注:[1] 治疗翻胃的奇穴,上穴在两乳下一寸;

Zhong'e (Sudden Evil Invasion), Zhenjin (Tremors and Jaw Locking), and diseases caused by Gui Mei (Spiritual Demons), can be stabilized by urgently moxibustion on the Guiku (Ghost Cry) acupoint. Bind the two thumbs of both hands together, and the acupoints are located at the junctions behind the four nail corners.
Note: [1] The Guiku (Ghost Cry) acupoint is used to treat conditions such as Gui Mei (Spiritual Demons), isolation and confusion, trance, tremors, and jaw locking.
[2] Acupoint location: Bind the two thumbs of both hands together. Apply a cone of moxa at the fleshy junction behind the nail corners (the riding seam). Ignite it for moxibustion. Effectiveness is indicated if the patient cries out that they are leaving on their own (Figure 104).
Shizhu (Corpse Transmission), Keyu (Guest Insult), and Zhong'e (Sudden Evil Invasion) diseases: Measure three cun posterior to the nipple along the meridian line. Moxibustion with fire is applied to the left side in males and the right side in females. This expels evil influences, and the spirit naturally calms down.
Note: [1] Moxibustion treatment for Kou Zhu (Oral Transmission), Keyu (Guest Insult), and Zhong'e (Sudden Evil Invasion).
[2] The acupoint is located three cun posterior to the nipple; moxibustion is applied to the left side in males and the right side in females (Figure 105).
For Shan Qi (Hernia) causing unilateral scrotal swelling or descent, moxibustion should be prioritized. Measure the distance between the two corners of the patient's mouth and divide it into three equal parts. Use one part as the side length to form an equilateral triangle (▲ shape). Place one apex upward aligned with the center of the umbilicus (Baihui/Center); the positions marked by the two downward-pointing apices indicate the sides of the acupoints.
Note: [1] Moxibustion method for the extra point treating Shan Tong (Hernia Pain) and unilateral scrotal swelling. Use a rod to measure the distance between the patient's mouth corners as the standard, break it into three segments to form a triangle shape. Place one corner at the center of the umbilicus, and the other two corners at the lower sides of the umbilicus. The points marked by the tips are the acupoints.
[2] If the left side is affected, moxa the right side; if the right side is affected, moxa the left side; if both sides are affected, moxa both. Use moxa cones the size of millet grains, apply four Zhu (units of moxibustion) per side (Figure 106).
For Fan Wei (Regurgitation/Vomiting), moxa extra points on the upper and lower regions. The upper point is located one cun below the nipples; the lower point is taken below the medial malleolus, determined by aligning three fingers slightly diagonally forward.
Note: [1] Moxibustion for the extra point treating Fan Wei (Regurgitation). The upper point is one cun below both breasts;
The lower point is below the medial malleolus, located by arranging three fingers slightly diagonally forward (Figure 107).
For Chang Feng (Intestinal Wind) and various types of hemorrhoids, moxibustion is most effective. The acupoints are located in the extra point area below the 14th thoracic vertebra, one cun lateral to each side. Frequent moxibustion is recommended; it is highly effective for long-standing hemorrhoids.

[2] The acupoints are located one cun lateral to each side below the 14th thoracic vertebra on the spine. For long-standing cases, moxibustion is most effective (Figure 108).
