[1] The Yutang (Jade Hall) point is located on the hard palate inside the mouth, also known as Shanghan (Upper Containment); its orifice is referred to as Hangsang (nasopharynx).
[2] If injured by contact or puncture on either side, only swelling and pain will occur.
[3] If the central orifice is injured, it connects upward to the E (root of the nose), inevitably injuring the curled fleshy tissue in the nostrils (commonly called "nose whiskers"); if the empty cavity (commonly called "Yutang") is further violated, bleeding will not stop, causing both the nose and eyes to swell, the face to turn blue-purple, accompanied by mental fatigue, dizziness, weakness in the four limbs, and pain radiating to the brain marrow.
[4] If the epiglottis and the upper transverse bone are injured, mild cases heal easily, while severe cases result in aphonia (inability to speak).
[5] If the pain extends to the Xinge (heart diaphragm), coma and severe illness ensue.
[6] Urgently apply Nifen (Calomel) and Bingpian (Borneol) spread on paper, adhering it to the broken skin to stop bleeding.
[7] Internally administer Zhenggu Zijin Dan (Bone-Setting Purple Gold Pill) to resolve stasis, relieve pain, regulate Qi, strengthen the Spleen, calm the Spirit, and stabilize the Will.
[8] Subsequently, decoxie Crab Roe and Xuejie (Dragon's Blood) for rinsing, performing this two to thirty times daily.
[9] If Qi is not harmonious and food intake decreases, daily nourishment with Shishuang (Persimmon Frost), Yulu Shuang (Jade Dew Frost), Milk Skin, Milk Cakes, Ghee, and fried □ Zi flour, using cooling and moistening methods for recuperation, leads to recovery.
