[Upper Compilation: External Treatment Methods - Limbs]
[1] The malleolus is the prominent bone located below the tibia (shin bone) and above the dorsum of the foot. The one on the medial side is called the medial malleolus, commonly known as Hegu; the one on the lateral side is called the lateral malleolus, commonly known as Hegu.
[2] If injured by falling from a horse or twisting while walking, causing the calcaneus to shift forward and the toes backward, with tendons flipped and muscles swollen, accompanied by unceasing pain:
<1> First, use manual manipulation to adjust the tendons and correct the bones to restore their proper position.
<2> Then, fix the calcaneus with bamboo splints and bind them onto the tibia.
<3> After three days, remove the binding for inspection. Support the posterior aspect of the foot with a pillow, hold the tendons with your hand, and press/acupress the nodules in the tendons with your fingers until they are level and aligned.
<4> Internally administer Zhenggu Zijin Dan (Bone-Setting Purple Gold Pill), externally apply warming moxibustion with Dingtong San (Pain-Calming Powder), and wash with Haitongpi Tang (Phellodendron Bark Decoction). Regularly take Jianbu Huqian Wan (Leg-Strengthening Tiger-Hiding Pill).
[3] If labor is undertaken prematurely after slight improvement, causing the distal end of the tibia to deviate inward, the medial malleolus will protrude and swell; if it deviates outward, the lateral malleolus will protrude and swell. Blood stasis accumulates and coagulates, leading to weakness in walking and tilting of the sole. This condition is difficult to treat, so one must wait until Qi and blood flow smoothly and fully recover before resuming activity.

[1] Teeth are the bones grown from the oral gingiva, commonly referred to as teeth.
[2] They are categorized into incisors, canines, premolars/molars, and wisdom teeth at the upper and lower ends.
[3] For cases where teeth are knocked out due to falls, blows, or cuts:
<1> Apply Bujisan (Muscle-Replenishing Powder) locally and use Fengkou Yao (Sealing Mouth Medicine).
<2> Internally administer Huoxue Yao (Blood-Breaking/Activating Medicines) to stop pain. These medicines should be decocted only in water, not wine; this method is quite effective.
[4] For cases where teeth are broken or injured by falls/blows/cuts:
<1> If the tooth is not loose, apply Furong Gao (Hibiscus Ointment).
<2> If the tooth is loose, burn Jili Gen (Tribulus Root) until carbonized but retaining efficacy, grind into powder, and frequently rub it on the area to secure the tooth. Using Guchi San (Tooth-Fortifying Powder) for frequent rubbing is also good.
