《病源论》云∶诸疮生身体，皆是体虚受风热，风热与血相搏，故发疮。若风热挟湿毒
之气者，则疮痒痛 肿，而疮多汁，身体壮，谓之恶疮也。
《养生方》∶铜器盖食，汗入食，发恶疮、内疽。
又云∶醉而交接，或致恶疮。
又云∶井水和粉洗足，不病恶疮。
又云∶饮酒热未解，以冷水洗面，令人面发疮，轻者渣 。
《刘涓子方》治恶疮方∶
用杏仁熬令黄黑，豉熬令黑焦，膏和敷上。
《录验方》甘氏乌膏治天下众疮，医术不能瘥，有虫者，悉治之方∶
水银（一两） 黄连（二两） 墨（二分）
上三物，猪膏和，熟，研调如脂，敷不过二三，即愈。秘方。（《僧深方》于潜墨云云。）
《范汪方》治恶疮中生肉挺出方∶
末石留黄敷之，有汁着末，无汁以唾和，敷之。
《僧深方》治恶疮肉脱出方∶
乌头末，以敷疮中，恶肉立去。佳。
《千金方》治恶疮方∶
烧篇竹灰，和楮白汁封。
又方∶河水煮白马屎，十沸，洗之。
又云∶十年不瘥者方∶
盐汤洗，以地黄叶贴之。
又方∶烧 猪屎一升，敷之。
又方∶烧苦瓠子末，敷之。
又方∶烧鲫鱼灰，和酱清敷之，主一切恶疮。
又方∶以牛屎熏即愈。凡疮皆可熏。
又云∶恶疮十年不瘥似癞方∶
蛇蜕皮一枚，烧之末，下筛，猪脂和敷之。
又方∶苦瓠一枚， 咀，煮取汁洗疮，日三。
又云∶恶疮名曰马疥，其大如钱方∶
以水煎自死蛇一头，令烂去骨，以汁涂之手下，瘥。
《葛氏方》治大人、小儿猝得诸恶疮，不可名识者方∶
烧竹叶，以鸡子中黄和涂之。
又方∶取牛膝根，捣涂之。
又方∶取 螂虫绞取汁，敷疮，疮中虫即走出。
又方∶腊月猪膏一升，乱发如鸭子一枚，生鲫鱼一头。合煎令消尽，不沸止。又纳末雄
黄、雌黄、苦参屑各二两，大附子一枚，令搅凝，盛器。以敷诸疮，无不瘥。
又云∶若疮中恶肉突出者∶
末乌梅屑，敷疮中，佳。
《极要方》疗一切恶疮十年以上，并漏疮及疥癣作孔，久不瘥方∶
黄连（一两） 芦茹（一两） 蛇床子（一两） 石（一两，别捣） 水银（半两）
上捣筛，以腊月猪脂和如稀泥，下水银，令销尽即成，先以泔清洗疮，然涂药讫，仍以
黄柏末，绵沾粉之，令不污衣。
《集验方》治恶疮身体面目皆烂有汁方∶取生鱼三寸者，并少豉，合捣令熟，以涂之，
燥复涂。
又云∶治恶疮方∶
练子（一升） 地榆（五两） 桃仁（五两） 苦参（五两）
水一斗，煮取四升，温洗之。
又云∶恶疮，人不能名者方∶
取头垢，猪脂和，涂疮中。
《诸病源候论》说：凡是身体上生出的疮疡，都是因为体质虚弱感受风热之邪，风热与血液相互搏结，从而引发疮疡。如果风热夹杂着湿毒之气，就会出现疮疡瘙痒、疼痛、肿胀，且渗出液多，伴有身体高热，这被称为恶疮。
《养生方》记载：用铜器盛放食物，汗水滴入食物中，会引发恶疮和体内疽病。
又说：醉酒后进行房事，可能会导致恶疮。
又说：饮酒后热气未散时，用冷水洗脸，会导致面部生疮，轻者出现脓疱。
《刘涓子方》治疗恶疮的方剂：
将杏仁炒至黄黑色，豆豉炒至黑焦，用膏脂调和后敷在患处。
《录验方》甘氏乌膏治疗天下各种难以治愈的疮疡，即使是医术高明者也治不好的，如果有虫蚀的情况，此方都能治疗：
水银（一两） 黄连（二两） 墨（二分）
以上三味药，用猪脂调和，加热煮熟，研磨调匀如脂状，敷用不超过两三次，即可痊愈。这是秘方。（《僧深方》中提到使用潜山的墨等。）
《范汪方》治疗恶疮中长出的肉赘突出的方剂：
将石留黄研成粉末敷在患处，如果有渗出液就直接沾粉末，如果没有渗出液就用唾液调和敷用。
《僧深方》治疗恶疮中肌肉脱出方的方剂：
将乌头研成粉末，敷在疮口中，恶肉立刻去除。效果很好。
《千金方》治疗恶疮的方剂：
烧制箬竹的灰烬，与楮树白色的汁液混合封贴患处。
另一个方剂：用河水煮白马粪，煮沸十次，用来清洗患处。
又说：对于十年不愈的方剂：
用盐水汤清洗，然后用地黄叶贴敷患处。
另一个方剂：烧一升猪粪，敷在患处。
又说：治疗恶疮十年不愈类似癞病的方剂：
取蛇蜕皮一枚，烧成粉末，过筛，用猪脂调和敷用。
又说：治疗名为马疥的恶疮，大小如铜钱般的方剂：
用水煎煮一条自然死亡的蛇，煮烂去骨，用汁液涂抹在手下的患处，即可痊愈。
《葛氏方》治疗大人、小孩突然患上的各种无法命名的恶疮的方剂：
烧竹叶，用鸡蛋黄调和涂抹患处。
另一个方剂：取牛膝根，捣碎后涂抹。
另一个方剂：取蜣螂虫绞取汁液，敷在疮上，疮中的虫子就会爬出来。
另一个方剂：腊月猪脂一升，乱发如鸭子蛋大小一枚，活鲫鱼一头。一起煎煮直到消尽，不再沸腾为止。再加入雄黄末、雌黄末、苦参屑各二两，大附子一枚，搅拌凝固，装入容器中。用来敷治各种疮疡，没有不能治愈的。
又说：如果疮中恶肉突出的情况：
将乌梅研成细屑，敷在疮中，效果很好。
《极要方》治疗一切恶疮十年以上，以及漏疮和疥癣形成孔洞，久不愈合的方剂：
黄连（一两） 芦茹（一两） 蛇床子（一两） 石硫黄（一两，单独捣碎） 水银（半两）
以上药物捣碎过筛，用腊月猪脂调和成稀泥状，加入水银，使其完全溶解即成。先用淘米水清洗疮口，然后涂药，最后仍用黄柏末，用棉沾粉扑在上面，以免弄脏衣服。
《集验方》治疗恶疮导致身体面目溃烂有渗出液的方剂：取三寸长的生鱼，加少许豆豉，一起捣熟，涂抹患处，干了再涂。
又说：治疗恶疮的方剂：
练帛（一升） 地榆（五两） 桃仁（五两） 苦参（五两）
用水一斗，煮取四升，温洗患处。
又说：治疗无法命名的恶疮的方剂：
取头垢，用猪脂调和，涂在疮中。
*Zhubing Yuanhou Lun* (Treatise on the Pathogenesis and Manifestations of All Diseases) states: Sores arising on the body are all caused by deficiency of the constitution leading to contraction of wind-heat. Wind-heat clashes with blood, thus causing sores. If wind-heat is combined with damp-toxin qi, the sores will be itchy, painful, swollen, and exude much fluid, accompanied by high fever; this is called *E Chuang* (Malignant Ulcer).
*Yangsheng Fang* (Prescriptions for Nourishing Life) records: Covering food with copper vessels allows sweat to enter the food, which can induce malignant ulcers and internal abscesses (*Ne Ju*).
It further states: Sexual intercourse while intoxicated may lead to malignant ulcers.
It also states: Washing feet well water mixed with flour powder prevents malignant ulcers.
It further states: Washing the face with cold water while heat from alcohol has not yet dissipated causes sores on the face; mild cases result in pustules.
*Liu Juanzi Fang* (Prescriptions of Liu Juanzi) for treating malignant ulcers:
Fry apricot kernels until yellow-black, fry fermented soybeans until black and scorched, mix with ointment/fat, and apply topically.
*Lu Yan Fang* (Verified Records Prescriptions), Gan Shi Wu Gao (Gan's Black Ointment), treats all kinds of sores under heaven that medical skills cannot cure, even those with worms; this prescription cures them all:
Mercurius (1 liang) Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian, 2 liang) Ink (2 fen)
Grind these three substances together, mix with suet (pig fat), cook thoroughly, grind and blend into a paste-like consistency. Apply no more than two or three times, and it will heal. This is a secret prescription. (*Seng Shen Fang* mentions using ink from Qian mountain, etc.)
*Fan Wang Fang* (Prescriptions of Fan Wang) for treating fleshy protrusions growing out of malignant ulcers:
Grind Shi Liu Huang (Realgar) into powder and apply. If there is exudate, apply the powder directly; if no exudate, mix with saliva and apply.
*Seng Shen Fang* (Monk Shen's Prescriptions) for treating flesh protruding from malignant ulcers:
Grind Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (Wutou) into powder and apply into the sore. The foul flesh will immediately fall off. Excellent.
*Qianjin Fang* (Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) for treating malignant ulcers:
Burn bamboo leaves to ash, mix with the white juice of Broussonetia papyrifera (paper mulberry) and seal/apply to the area.
Another prescription: Boil horse manure in river water for ten boils, then wash the area.
It further states: For cases not healing for ten years:
Wash with salt water decoction, then apply fresh Rehmanniae Radix (Dihuang) leaves as a patch.
Another prescription: Burn one sheng of pig manure and apply.
Another prescription: Burn bitter bottle gourd seeds into powder and apply.
Another prescription: Burn crucian carp to ash, mix with sauce liquid and apply; it governs all malignant ulcers.
Another prescription: Smoke with cow manure, and it will heal. All sores can be smoked.
It further states: For malignant ulcers not healing for ten years resembling leprosy:
Take one snake skin, burn it to powder, sieve it, mix with suet and apply.
Another prescription: Take one bitter bottle gourd, chop it, boil to extract juice, wash the sore, three times daily.
It further states: For malignant ulcers named "Ma Jie" (Horse Scabies), large as a coin:
Boil one naturally dead snake in water until rotten, remove bones, and apply the juice to the affected hand area; it will heal.
*Ge Shi Fang* (Prescriptions of Ge Shi) for sudden onset of various unnamed malignant ulcers in adults and children:
Burn bamboo leaves, mix with egg yolk and apply.
Another prescription: Take Achyranthes bidentata root (Niuxi), crush and apply.
Another prescription: Crush dung beetles to extract juice, apply to the sore; worms in the sore will crawl out.
Another prescription: One sheng of suet from the twelfth lunar month, one tuft of hair the size of a duck egg, one live crucian carp. Simmer together until completely dissolved and no longer boiling. Then add Realgar powder, Orpiment powder, and Sophorae Radix (Kushen) powder, each 2 liang, and one large Aconitum carmichaelii root (Fuzi). Stir until solidified, store in a vessel. Apply to all sores; none will not heal.
It further states: If foul flesh protrudes from the sore:
Grain Prunus mume (Wumei) into fine powder and apply into the sore. Excellent.
*Ji Yao Fang* (Extremely Important Prescriptions) for treating all malignant ulcers lasting over ten years, including fistulas and scabies/tinea forming holes, which do not heal for a long time:
Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian, 1 liang) Rubiae Cordifoliae Radix et Rhizoma (Luru, 1 liang) Cnidii Fructus (Shechuangzi, 1 liang) Sulfur (Shiliuhuang, 1 liang, separately ground) Mercurius (Banliang, half liang)
Grind and sieve the above, mix with suet from the twelfth lunar month into a mud-like consistency. Add mercurius and dissolve completely. First wash the sore with rice water, then apply the medicine. Finally, dust with Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai) powder using cotton to prevent staining clothes.
*Ji Yan Fang* (Collected Verified Prescriptions) for treating malignant ulcers causing rotting of the body and face with exudate:
Take raw fish about three cun long, add a little fermented soybean, crush together until cooked/paste-like, and apply. Reapply when dry.
It further states: Prescription for treating malignant ulcers:
Processed silk fabric (Lianzi, 1 sheng) Sanguisorbae Radix (Diyu, 5 liang) Persicae Semen (Taoren, 5 liang) Sophorae Radix (Kushen, 5 liang)
Use one dou of water, boil to obtain four sheng, and wash the area with warm liquid.
It further states: Prescription for unnamed malignant ulcers:
Take head dandruff/scalp dirt, mix with suet, and apply into the sore.
