治疗内钓引起的腹痛、惊叫啼哭：
乳香、没药、沉香、蝎梢（各一钱），槟榔（二钱）。
将上述药物研为细末，用炼蜜调和制成如芡实大小的丸剂。每次服用一丸，用钩藤汤送服化开。
治疗因脏腑寒冷引起的夜间啼哭：
钩藤钩、茯神、茯苓、川芎、当归、木香、甘草、芍药。
加水一钟，生姜一片，大枣一枚，煎至五分量时服用。
治疗中风导致的神志昏迷、不能发声：
细辛、薄荷、牙皂、雄黄（各等分）。
将药物研为细末，吹入鼻中。
治疗小儿中风痰湿壅盛：
南星、防风、甘草、半夏、黄芩。
加水一钟，生姜两片，煎服。
治疗中风导致不省人事、喉间痰鸣、角弓反张、失音、四肢厥冷：
麻黄、人参、黄芩、川芎、芍药、甘草、杏仁、防己、防风、肉官桂、附子。
○若体内有热，去掉附子和官桂。
加水一钟，生姜一片，大枣一枚，煎服。
治疗惊风、中风、五种痫证、天钓、客忤及潮热：
川乌、白附子、全蝎、天麻、薄荷（各五钱），雄黄、辰砂（各三钱），牛黄（一钱），脑子，麝香（各五分）。另一配方含有白花蛇肉（酒浸）。
将上述药物研为细末，用麻黄熬制的膏剂调和，制成如芡实大小的丸剂。用金银花和薄荷煎汤磨化后服用。
治疗中风导致的神志昏乱溃散，或胡言乱语、失音、精神错乱：
白藓皮、白术、芍药、桂心、川芎、当归、杏仁、防风、甘草、独活、麻黄、茯苓。
加水一钟，生姜一片，大枣一枚，煎至六分量时服用。
治疗中风：
南星、木香、陈皮、全蝎、甘草。
加生姜、大枣煎服。
○也可用于治疗夜啼、客忤。
治疗夜啼：
灯花（五个）、硼砂、辰砂（均少许）。
研为细末，用蜂蜜调匀涂抹在乳头/乳房上，让婴儿吮吸。
治疗小儿腹痛、夜间啼哭：
木香（五分）、芍药（炒制一钱）、甘草（五分）、当归（一钱）、黄芪（一钱）。
将药物研为细末，用蜂蜜调匀涂抹在乳头/乳房上，让婴儿吮吸。
Treatment for internal hook (Neidiao) causing abdominal pain, fright, and crying:
Ruxiang (Frankincense), Moyao (Myrrh), Chenxiang (Alowood), Xieshao (Scorpion tail tip) (each 1 qian), Binglang (Areca Seed) (2 qian).
Grind the above into powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a Chinese quince seed (Qianshi). Take one pill per dose, dissolve and administer using Gouteng Decoction (Uncaria Rhynchophylla Decoction).
Treatment for night crying caused by cold in the viscera:
Goutenggou (Uncaria Rhynchophylla Hook), Fushen (Poria with Hostwood), Fuling (Poria), Chuanxiong (Ligusticum Chuanxiong), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis), Muxiang (Vladimiria Root), Gancao (Licorice), Shaoyao (Peony Root).
Add one zhong of water, one slice of ginger, one jujube. Decoct until five fen remains, then take orally.
Treatment for stroke leading to coma and inability to speak:
Xixin (Asarum), Bohe (Mint), Yazao (Toothed Soap Pod), Xionghuang (Realgar) (equal parts).
Grind into fine powder and insufflate into the nasal cavity.
Treatment for pediatric stroke with excessive phlegm:
Nanxing (Arisaema Cum Bile), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root), Gancao (Licorice), Banxia (Pinellia Tuber), Huangqin (Scutellaria Root).
Add one zhong of water, two slices of ginger. Decoct and take orally.
Treatment for stroke leading to unconsciousness, salivary rales, opisthotonos (back arching), aphonia, and cold extremities:
Mahuang (Ephedra Herb), Renshen (Ginseng Root), Huangqin (Scutellaria Root), Chuanxiong (Ligusticum Chuanxiong), Shaoyao (Peony Root), Gancao (Licorice), Xingren (Apricot Seed), Fangji (Stephania Root), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root), Rouguangui (Cinnamon Twig), Fuzi (Aconite Lateral Root).
○ If there is heat, remove Fuzi and Guangui.
Add one zhong of water, one slice of ginger, one jujube. Decoct and take orally.
Treatment for convulsive wind, stroke, five types of epilepsy, Tiandiao (infantile convulsion with upward gaze), Ke Wu (sudden fright from strangers), and tidal fever:
Chuanwu (Aconitum Carmichaelii Lateral Root), Baifuzi (Bai Fu Zi/Arisaema Cum Glucomannan), Quanxie (Whole Scorpion), Tianma (Gastrodia Rhizome), Bohe (Mint) (each 5 qian), Xionghuang (Realgar), Chensha (Cinnabar) (each 3 qian), Niuhuang (Calculus Bovis) (1 qian), Naozi (Camphor), Shexiang (Musk) (each 5 fen). Another prescription includes Baihuashe Rou (Bungarus Parvatus Meat) soaked in wine.
Grind the above into powder, mix with paste made from boiling Mahuang (Ephedra Herb) to form pills the size of a Chinese quince seed. Grind and dissolve using decoction of Yinjinhua (Honeysuckle Flower) and Bohe (Mint) for administration.
Baoming Dan (Life-Preserving Pill), Zhenzhu Wan (Pearl Pill):
Prescriptions are found in the preceding section; both may be taken.
Treatment for stroke leading to mental confusion or delirium, aphonia, and disordered spirit:
Baixianpi (Dictamnus Bark), Baizhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome), Shaoyao (Peony Root), Guixin (Cinnamon Twig/Cortex Cinnamomi), Chuanxiong (Ligusticum Chuanxiong), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis), Xingren (Apricot Seed), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root), Gancao (Licorice), Duhuo (Angelica Pubescens Root), Mahuang (Ephedra Herb), Fuling (Poria).
Add one zhong of water, one slice of ginger, one jujube. Decoct until six fen remains, then take orally.
Treatment for stroke:
Nanxing (Arisaema Cum Bile), Muxiang (Vladimiria Root), Chenpi (Tangerine Peel), Quanxie (Whole Scorpion), Gancao (Licorice).
Decoct with ginger and jujube and take orally.
○ Also applicable for night crying and Ke Wu (sudden fright).
Treatment for night crying:
Denghua (Wick Ash) (five pieces), Pengsha (Borax), Chensha (Cinnabar) (small amounts of each).
Grind into fine powder, mix with honey, apply to the nipple/breast, and let the infant suckle.
Treatment for pediatric abdominal pain and night crying:
Muxiang (Vladimiria Root) (5 fen), Shaoyao (Peony Root, stir-fried) (1 qian), Gancao (Licorice) (5 fen), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis) (1 qian), Huangqi (Astragalus Root) (1 qian).
Grind into powder, mix with honey, apply to the nipple/breast, and let the infant suckle.
