Tao Ren (Prunus Persica Seed), Da Huang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma) (each 1 liang), Meng Chong (Mylabris, stir-fried, 5 qian), Pu Xiao (Natrii Sulfas, 1 liang), all ground into fine powder. First, take 1 jin of pure vinegar and slowly boil in a clay vessel until reduced to slightly more than half a zhong. Add the powder, stir for a long time, and form into small pills. The evening meal should be skipped on the previous day. At dawn (Wu Geng), take 1 qian with wine to expel foul matter resembling bean juice or chicken liver. If not expelled, take again the next day; stop medication upon seeing fresh blood. If Meng Chong is unavailable, replace it with E Chong (Pheretima).
Jing San Leng (Bupleuri Radix? Note: Context implies Curcuma zedoaria rhizome often called San Leng, but Jing San Leng specifically refers to Bupleurum root in some contexts, however given the context of "accumulation" and pairing with E Zhu, it likely refers to the rhizome Curcumae Rhizoma / San Leng. However, standard WHO term for San Leng is Cyperi Rhizoma? No, San Leng is Sparganii Rhizoma. Let's stick to the text's specific name if possible or standard equivalent. Actually, "Jing San Leng" usually refers to *Bupleuri Radix* in ancient texts sometimes, but in accumulation formulas, it often means *Sparganii Rhizoma*. Given "Peng E Zhu" follows, it is highly likely *Sparganii Rhizoma*. I will use Sparganii Rhizoma as it fits the therapeutic action better, but note the text says "Jing". Wait, "Jing San Leng" is often *Bupleuri Radix*. But "San Leng" alone is *Sparganii Rhizoma*. Let's look at the ingredients: San Leng, E Zhu, Qing Pi, Chen Pi. This is a Qi-moving and Blood-breaking formula. San Leng here is almost certainly *Sparganii Rhizoma*. I will translate as Sparganii Rhizoma (San Leng).) (Cyperi Rhizoma? No, Sparganii Rhizoma), Peng E Zhu (Curcumae Rhizoma), Qing Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride), Chen Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium) (each remove white pith), Huo Xiang Ye (Agastachis Herba), Jie Geng (Platycodonis Radix) (remove radicle), Rou Gui (Cinnamomi Cortex) (do not expose to fire), Yi Zhi Ren (Alpiniae Oxyphyllae Fructus) (each 1.5 liang), Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, honey-fried, 7.5 qian), Xiang Fu (Cyperii Rhizoma) (stir-fried, remove hairs, 1.5 liang). Cut into pieces. Take 5 qian per dose, add 2 zhan of water, decoct to 1 zhan. Take warm before meals.
Huang Lian (Coptidis Rhizoma) (remove roots, 1.5 liang), Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix) (remove radicle), Nong Po (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex, remove rough bark, ginger-processed, each 0.5 liang), Huang Qin (Scutellariae Radix) (3 qian), Rou Gui (Cinnamomi Cortex), Fu Shen (Poria with Hostwood) (remove skin), Dan Shen (Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (stir-fried, each 1 liang), Chuan Wu (Aconiti Radix Preparata) (pao-processed, remove skin and navel), Gan Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Preparatum) (pao-processed), Hong Dou (Ormosia Semen? Or just Red Bean?), Chang Pu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma), Ba Dou Shuang (Crotonis Fructus Frost) (each 5 fen). Except for Ba Dou Shuang, grind the rest into powder. Grind Ba Dou Shuang separately and mix in evenly. Form pills with refined honey, size of paulownia seeds. Initial dose: 2 pills. Day 1: add 1 pill. Day 2: add 2 pills. Gradually increase until stool becomes slightly loose, then restart from 2 pills. Take with dilute Huang Lian decoction, far after meals. Repeat this cycle. When the accumulation reduces by more than half, stop taking. In autumn and winter, increase Nong Po by 0.5 liang, totaling 1 liang combined; reduce Huang Lian by 0.5 liang, using only 1 liang; do not use Huang Qin at all.
Fu Ling (Poria) (remove skin), Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix) (remove radicle), Nong Po (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex) (remove rough bark, ginger-processed, stir-fried), Zhi Ke (Aurantii Fructus) (remove pulp, bran-fried), San Leng (Sparganii Rhizoma) (roasted), Ban Xia (Pinelliae Rhizoma) (soaked in boiling water seven times), Bai Zhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) (equal parts). Grind into fine powder, form pills with flour paste, size of wu zi (phoenix tree seeds). Take 50 pills per dose, far after meals, with rice soup.
