治产后烦闷不能食虚满方∶
小豆三七枚，烧作屑，以冷水和顿服之。
治产后苦烦闷方∶
蒲黄
上一味，以东流水和服方寸匕，极良。
治产后虚热往来，心胸中烦满，骨节疼及头痛，壮热，晡时辄甚，又似微疟方∶
蜀漆叶 黄芩 桂心 甘草（炙，各一两） 生地黄（一斤） 黄 母（各三两） 芍
药

上八味， 咀，以水一斗，先煮地黄取七升，去滓，下诸药，煮取二升五合，分三服，
汤治寒热不损人。
治产后虚热头痛方∶
白芍药 干地黄 牡蛎（各五两，熬） 桂心（三两）
上四味， 咀，以水五升，煮取三升半，分三服，汤不损人，无毒。亦治腹中急痛，若
通身发热，更加黄芩二两，大热即除。
主妇人堕身，血不尽去，苦烦闷方∶
鹿角（屑，一两） 香豉（一升半）
上二味，以水三升，先煮豉三沸，去滓，纳鹿角屑，搅令调，顿服，须臾血下。
方八首
锻石坐渍法主产后阴道不闭方∶
锻石（一升，熬令能烧草）
上一味，以水二斗投灰中，适寒温入汁中坐渍之，须臾复易如常法，此是神秘方不传，
已治人有验。
治妇人阴脱∶
当归 黄芩（各二两） 芍药（五分） 皮（半两） 牡蛎（二两半，熬）
上五味，捣筛为散，酒服方寸匕，日三服，禁举重，良。
主治产后烦闷、食欲不振的方剂：
将白犬骨烧成炭，捣碎过筛，用水送服一方寸匕。
治疗产后烦闷、不能进食、虚胀的方剂：
取小豆三十七枚，烧成灰末，用冷水调和后一次性服下。
治疗产后苦于烦闷的方剂：
蒲黄
以上一味药，用东流水调和，用水送服一方寸匕，效果极佳。
治疗产后虚热往来，心胸中烦闷胀满，骨节疼痛及头痛，高热，傍晚时分加重，又类似轻微疟疾的方剂：
蜀漆叶、黄芩、桂心、甘草（炙，各一两）、生地黄（一斤）、黄耆、母姜（各三两）、芍药（二两）
以上八味药，切碎，用水一斗，先煮地黄至剩余七升，滤去药渣，加入其余药物，煎煮至剩余二升五合，分三次服用，此汤剂治疗寒热往来而不损伤人体正气。
治疗产后虚热所致头痛的方剂：
白芍药、干地黄、牡蛎（各五两，煅烧）、桂心（三两）
以上四味药，切碎，用水五升，煎煮至剩余三升半，分三次服用，此汤剂不损伤人体，无毒。也能治疗腹中拘急疼痛，如果全身发热，再加黄芩二两，大热即可消除。
主治妇人堕胎后，瘀血未尽，苦于烦闷的方剂：
鹿角（锉碎，一两）、香豉（一升半）
以上两味药，用水三升，先煮香豉煮沸三次，滤去药渣，放入鹿角屑，搅拌调和，一次性服下，不久之后瘀血就会排出。
共八方剂
锻石坐渍法主治产后阴道松弛不闭合的方剂：
锻石（一升，煅烧至能烧草的程度）
以上一味药，用水二斗投入灰中，待水温适宜时，坐入药汁中浸泡，片刻后更换，如同常规方法，这是神秘且不外传的方剂，已治愈多人且有效验。
治疗妇人阴挺（子宫脱垂）：
当归、黄芩（各二两）、芍药（五分）、皮（半两）、牡蛎（二两半，煅烧）
以上五味药，捣碎过筛制成散剂，用酒送服一方寸匕，每日三次，禁止提举重物，疗效良好。
Formula for treating postpartum restlessness and loss of appetite:
Burn white dog bones to charcoal, grind into powder, and pass through a sieve. Take one *cunbi* (a measure equivalent to a square inch) with water.
Formula for treating postpartum restlessness, inability to eat, and abdominal distension due to deficiency:
Take thirty-seven adzuki beans (*Vigna angularis*), burn them to ash, mix with cold water, and take in one dose.
Formula for treating severe postpartum restlessness:
Pollen Typhae (*Puhuang*, 蒲黄)
Take the above single herb, mix with flowing water from the east, and take one *cunbi* with water. It is extremely effective.
Formula for treating postpartum alternating deficiency-heat, chest and epigastric fullness and restlessness, bone and joint pain, headache, high fever that worsens in the late afternoon, resembling mild malaria:
Folium Viticis Negundo (*Shuqieye*, 蜀漆叶), Radix Scutellariae (*Huangqin*, 黄芩), Cortex Cinnamomi (*Guixin*, 桂心), Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata (*Zhi Gancao*, 炙甘草, each 1 liang), Rhizoma Rehmanniae Recens (*Sheng Dihuang*, 生地黄, 1 jin), Radix Astragali (*Huangqi*, 黄耆), Ginger (*Mujing*, 母姜, each 3 liang), Radix Paeoniae Alba (*Shaoyao*, 芍药, 2 liang).
Crush the above eight herbs. Decoct with 10 *dou* of water. First decoct *Sheng Dihuang* until 7 *sheng* remain, strain out the dregs, then add the remaining herbs. Decoct until 2.5 *sheng* remain. Divide into three doses. This decoction treats alternating chills and fever without damaging healthy Qi.
Formula for treating postpartum headache due to deficiency-heat:
Radix Paeoniae Alba (*Baishaoyao*, 白芍药), Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata (*Gan Dihuang*, 干地黄), Concha Ostreae (*Muli*, 牡蛎, each 5 liang, calcined), Cortex Cinnamomi (*Guixin*, 桂心, 3 liang).
Crush the above four herbs. Decoct with 5 *sheng* of water until 3.5 *sheng* remain. Divide into three doses. This decoction does not damage the body and is non-toxic. It also treats acute abdominal pain. If there is generalized fever, add an additional 2 liang of Radix Scutellariae (*Huangqin*, 黄芩); the high fever will be eliminated.
Formula for treating women after abortion where blood stasis remains, causing severe restlessness:
Cornu Cervi (*Lujiao*, 鹿角, crushed, 1 liang), Fermented Soybean (*Xiangchi*, 香豉, 1.5 *sheng*).
Decoct the above two herbs in 3 *sheng* of water. First boil *Xiangchi* for three boils, strain out the dregs, add the crushed deer horn, stir well, and take in one dose. Blood stasis will be discharged shortly thereafter.
Eight Formulas in Total
Method of sitting in decoction of calcined iron ore for treating postpartum vaginal laxity/incomplete closure:
Calcined iron ore (*Duanshi*, 锻石, 1 *sheng*, calcined until it can burn grass).
Mix the above single herb with 20 *dou* of water. When the temperature is suitable, sit in the liquid for soaking. Change the liquid frequently as per routine method. This is a secret formula not transmitted externally, but has proven effective in curing many people.
Formula for treating uterine prolapse (*Yintuo*, 阴挺):
Radix Angelicae Sinensis (*Danggui*, 当归), Radix Scutellariae (*Huangqin*, 黄芩, each 2 liang), Radix Paeoniae Alba (*Shaoyao*, 芍药, 0.5 fen), [Bark] (*Pi*, 皮, 0.5 liang), Concha Ostreae (*Muli*, 牡蛎, 2.5 liang, calcined).
Grind the above five herbs into powder. Take one *cunbi* with wine, three times daily. Avoid lifting heavy objects. It is effective.
