主肝气不足方∶

主脏中痰实热冲，眼漠漠暗方∶

主漠漠无所见，或时痛赤，腹有痰饮，令人眼暗方∶

芜菁子主明目病益肌肤方∶
芜菁子（三升）
上一味，淘高着水煮二十沸，出，着水盆中淘之，令水清，接取以别釜煮之，水尽即添
益，时尝看，味美漉出曝干，捣筛，酒饮等任意和服三方寸匕，日惟服七合，饱食任性酒服。

治青盲方∶
长尾蛆，净洗曝干作末，纳眼中瘥。
主治肝气不足的方剂：

主治脏腑中有痰实热邪上冲，眼睛视物模糊昏暗的方剂：

以上十味药，切碎，用水一斗二升，煎煮至取药液二升七合，滤去药渣，分三次服用。
主治视物模糊看不清，有时眼痛发红，腹中有痰饮，导致眼睛昏暗的方剂：
大黄 白术（各二两） 甘草（炙） 芍药 当归 茯苓 桂心 人参 黄芩 细辛（各一两半） 生姜（三两，切片） 半夏（四两，洗净）
以上十二味药，切碎，用水一斗，煎煮至取药液三升，分四次服用。
主治肝气不足，两侧胁肋部拘急疼痛，寒热往来且视力不明，以及妇女心痛、乳痈、小腿发热、消渴症、指甲干枯、口唇面部发青的方剂：
甘草（三两，炙） 柏子仁（二两） 防风（三两） 大枣（二十枚，掰开） 乌头（二两，炮制）
细辛（二两） 茯苓（一两） 蕤仁（一两） 桂心（一两）
以上九味药，切碎，用水八升，煎煮至取药液三升，分为三次服用。
芜菁子主治明目疾病并滋养肌肤的方剂：
芜菁子（三升）
以上一味药，淘洗干净后放入高锅中水煮二十沸，取出，放入水盆中淘洗，直到水变清，接着用另一个锅接取药汁煮之，水烧干后即添加新水，时常查看，味道鲜美时滤出晒干，捣碎过筛，用酒送服，每次三方寸匕的量，每日只服用七合，饱食后可随意用酒送服。
治疗青盲症的方剂：
长尾蛆，洗净晒干研成粉末，纳入眼中即可痊愈。
Formula for treating Liver Qi deficiency:
Zhi Gancao (Roasted Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Guixin (Cinnamomi Ramulus) (each 2 liang).
Take the above four herbs, cut them into small pieces, decoct with 6 sheng of water until 2 sheng remains, strain to remove the dregs, and divide into three doses.
Formula for treating phlegm-stasis and heat rushing upward in the zang-fu organs, causing blurred and dim vision:
Kuzhugen (Bambusae Caulis in Taeniam), Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Zingibere et Alumine) (4 liang, washed), Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma), Fuling (Poria), Zhishi (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) (each 3 liang), Xingren (Armeniacae Semen) (remove skin and sharp tips, use two kernels), Shengdihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata) (each 1 liang), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Zhi Gancao (Roasted Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (each 2 liang).
Take the above ten herbs, cut them into small pieces, decoct with 12 dou of water until 2.7 sheng remains, strain to remove the dregs, and divide into three doses.
Formula for treating severe visual impairment or occasional red painful eyes, abdominal fluid retention (phlegm-fluid), leading to dim vision:
Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) (each 2 liang), Zhi Gancao (Roasted Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Fuling (Poria), Guixin (Cinnamomi Ramulus), Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) (each 1.5 liang), Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) (3 liang, sliced), Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Zingibere et Alumine) (4 liang, washed).
Take the above twelve herbs, cut them into small pieces, decoct with 10 dou of water until 3 sheng remains, and divide into four doses.
Formula for treating Liver Qi deficiency manifesting as tight and painful hypochondrium, alternating chills and fever, unclear vision, along with women's heart pain, mastitis, lower leg heat, Xiao Ke (wasting-thirst syndrome), withered nails, and bluish discoloration of the mouth and face:
Zhi Gancao (Roasted Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (3 liang), Baiziren (Biota Seed), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Dazao (Jujubae Fructus) (20 pieces, split), Wutou (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) (2 liang, processed), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) (2 liang), Fuling (Poria) (1 liang), Ruiren (Pruni Armeniacae Semen), Guixin (Cinnamomi Ramulus) (1 liang).
Take the above nine herbs, cut them into small pieces, decoct with 8 sheng of water until 3 sheng remains, and divide into three doses.
Formula from Jingzi (Brassicae Juncei Semen) for improving vision and nourishing the skin:
Jingzi (Brassicae Juncei Semen) (3 sheng).
Take this single herb, wash it thoroughly, boil in a high pot for twenty boils, remove it, place it in a basin of water to wash again until the water is clear, then collect the liquid and boil it in a separate pot. When the water evaporates, add fresh water. Check frequently; when the taste is pleasant, strain it out, dry it in the sun, grind it, and sieve it. Mix with wine as desired and take three square-cun spoons at a time. Take only seven he daily. After a full meal, it may be taken freely with wine.
Formula for treating Qing Mang (blindness with normal-looking eyes):
Changwei Ju (larvae of long-tailed flies), clean, dry, and powder them. Apply into the eyes for cure.
