飧泄者，完谷不化也。脾胃气虚，不能熟腐水谷，故食物完出也。治用∶
人参 茯苓 川芎 官桂 当归 白芍 白术各等分
每服二钱，加粟米百粒，与水一升同煎取七合，去滓，空腹温服。若虚劳嗽，加五味子；
有痰，加半夏；发热，加柴胡；有汗，加牡蛎；虚寒，加附子或干姜。
暑泄，一名伏暑泄泻。治用∶
白术一两 车前子五钱
上二味，姜水煎服，神效。
便血，一名肠风，又名肠红。其原为湿热相侵，或酒毒深结，非逐去其湿热酒毒，而徒
用止涩之剂，未见其能剂。方用∶
熟地一两 地榆 白芍 当归 黄连各三钱 甘草 葛根各一钱 柞木枝五钱
水煎服，第一剂下血必更多，二剂略少，三剂痊愈。
本症之原，为三焦五脏不和，冷热之气不调，热气偏入肠胃，津液竭燥，故令糟粕痞结，
壅塞不通也。方用∶
大黄三两 黄芩二两 甘草（炙）一两 栀子二七枚
以水五升，煮一升八合，分三服。
肉苁蓉（酒渍焙）二两 沉香末一两
上二味捣末，用麻子仁汁为丸。如梧子，白汤下七、八丸。

以上两味药，用姜水煎服，效果神奇。
便血（又称肠风，又名肠红）。其病因为湿热邪气侵袭，或酒毒深结体内，如果不祛除湿热和酒毒，仅仅使用收敛止涩的药物，未见能治愈的。方剂使用：
熟地黄一两，地榆、白芍、当归、黄连各三钱，甘草、葛根各一钱，柞木枝五钱。
用水煎服，第一剂服药后下血量必然增多，第二剂略少，第三剂痊愈。
本症（指便秘）的病源，是三焦与五脏功能不和，冷热之气不调和，热气偏入肠胃，导致津液枯竭干燥，所以使糟粕痞结，壅塞不通。方剂使用：
大黄三两，黄芩二两，甘草（炙）一两，栀子十四枚。
用水五升，煮取一升八合，分三次服用。
肉苁蓉（酒浸后焙干）二两，沉香末一两。
以上两味药捣成粉末，用火麻仁汁制作成丸药。如梧桐子大小，用白开水送服七八丸。
磁石（研碎）四两，桂心一尺，皮（炙至黄色）一枚。（注：原文此处“皮”字疑为脱漏，通常指某树皮或特定药材，依原文直译）
以上三味药，捣碎过筛制成散剂，每次服用一方寸匕，一天服用十次，即可见效（缩阳/勃起异常改善），不要做重体力劳动，必须禁止房事，一年后才能痊愈。
Sun-xie (diarrhea with undigested food) refers to stool containing uncooked food. This is due to deficiency of Qi in the Spleen and Stomach, which fails to adequately rot and ferment water and grain, thus causing food to be excreted intact. Treatment uses:
Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Fuling (Poria), Chuanxiong (Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome), Guangui (Cinnamon Twig), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis Radix), Baishao (White Peony Root), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) in equal parts.
Each dose is two qian, add one hundred grains of millet, boil with one sheng of water until seven he remain, filter out the dregs, and take warm on an empty stomach. If accompanied by consumptive cough, add Wuweizi (Schisandrae Fructus); if there is phlegm, add Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma); if feverish, add Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix); if sweating, add Muli (Ostreae Concha); if deficient-cold, add Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) or Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma).
Shu-xie (also known as latent summerheat diarrhea). Treatment uses:
Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) one liang, Cheqianzi (Plantaginis Semen) five qian.
The above two ingredients are decocted in ginger water for administration; it is miraculously effective.
Bianxue (blood in stool, also known as Changfeng or Changhong). Its origin lies in invasion by damp-heat or deep accumulation of alcohol toxin. Without expelling the damp-heat and alcohol toxin, merely using astringent agents has not been seen to cure it. The formula uses:
Shudi (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata) one liang, Diyü (Sanguisorbae Radix), Baishao (White Peony Root), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis Radix), Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma) each three qian, Gancao (Licorice Root), Gegen (Puerariae Lobatae Radix) each one qian, Zhamuzhi (Quercus variabilis Branch) five qian.
Decoct in water for oral administration. After the first dose, bleeding will inevitably increase slightly; after the second dose, it decreases slightly; after the third dose, recovery is achieved.
The origin of this syndrome (constipation) lies in disharmony among the Sanjiao (Triple Burner) and the Five Zang organs, and imbalance between cold and heat Qi. Heat Qi deviates into the intestines and stomach, exhausting and drying up body fluids, thereby causing stagnation and blockage of feces. The formula uses:
Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma) three liang, Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix) two liang, Gancao (Licorice Root) roasted one liang, Zhizi (Gardeniae Fructus) fourteen fruits.
Boil with five sheng of water until one sheng eight he remain, divide into three doses.
Rongzhrong (Cistanches Herba) soaked in wine and baked two liang, Chenxiang (Aquilaria Resina) powder one liang.
The above two ingredients are pounded into powder, made into pills using juice from Hemp Seed (Huo Maziren/Cannabis Fructus). Size of wutong seeds, swallow seven or eight pills with plain boiled water.
Cishi (Magnetitum) crushed four liang, Guixin (Cinnamon Twig Heart) one chi, Pi (baked yellow) one piece.
The above three ingredients are pounded and sifted into a powder. Take one fangcun bi per dose, administer ten times a day. Symptoms will subside. Avoid heavy labor, strictly abstain from sexual intercourse; optimal results require one year.
Maxianye (Portulacae Herba), Sanyesuancacao (Oxalis Corniculatis Herba) in equal parts.
Boil in water to make a decoction for fumigation and washing. Twice daily, extremely effective.
