人参 干姜各五钱 白术三两 附子一两 肉桂六钱
急以水煎汁服之，立效。
乌梅十四枚 钱四十文 盐三十撮
上三味，以苦酒一升。于铜器中浸九日，洗之，效。
本症由肝肾阴虚，湿热下注所致。虽与疝气相类 痈则阴囊红肿，内热口干，小便赤涩；
疝则小腹痛，牵引肾子，少热多寒，好饮热汤，此其异耳。初起时即宜用。
川芎 当归 白芍 生地 柴胡 胆草 栀子 天花粉 黄芩各一钱 泽泻 木通 甘
草各五分
清水二碗，煎取一碗，食前服之。
子痈者，谓肾子作痛，溃烂成脓，不急治愈，有妨生命。方用∶
川楝 秦艽 陈皮 赤芍 甘草 防风 泽泻各一钱五分 枸橘一枚
水煎服，一剂即愈。
附子一枚（炮裂） 盐一撮如附子大
二味作散，沐头毕，以方寸匕摩顶，日三。或服愈风散，亦效。
蔓荆子 白芷 甘草 半夏 细辛各一钱 川芎五钱
以酒煮，一醉即愈，不知再服。
柴胡 郁李仁 麦冬各五钱 辛夷 桔梗各三钱 白芍三两 甘草一钱
水三碗，煎汁，加陈酒一升，乘热饮之，以醉为度。
川芎 朱砂（水飞内一两为衣） 石膏 龙脑各四两 人参 茯苓 甘草（炙） 细辛
各二两
上为末，蜜丸弹子大。酒下一丸，神效。
人参、干姜各五钱，白术三两，附子一两，肉桂六钱。

雄黄一两（研碎，用绵布包裹），甘草一斤。
用水一升，煮取二升药液，用来清洗患处。

而疝证表现为小腹痛，牵引睾丸，感觉少热多寒，喜欢喝热汤，这是它们的区别。此方适用于初起时。
川芎、当归、白芍、生地、柴胡、胆草、栀子、天花粉、黄芩各一钱，泽泻、木通、甘草各五分。
用清水二碗，煎取一碗药液，饭前服用。
子痈，是指睾丸疼痛，溃烂成脓，如果不及时治愈，会危及生命。方剂如下：
川楝、秦艽、陈皮、赤芍、甘草、防风、泽泻各一钱五分，枸橘一枚。
用水煎服，一剂即可痊愈。
附子一枚（炮制裂开），盐一撮（大小如附子）。
将这两味药制成散剂，洗头完毕后，用方寸匕大小的量按摩头顶，每天三次。或者服用愈风散，也有效。
蔓荆子、白芷、甘草、半夏、细辛各一钱，川芎五钱。
用酒煮，喝醉一次即可痊愈，若未愈可再服。
柴胡、郁李仁、麦冬各五钱，辛夷、桔梗各三钱，白芍三两，甘草一钱。
用水三碗，煎取汁液，加入陈酒一升，趁热饮用，以喝醉为限度。
川芎、朱砂（水飞法处理，取一两作为丸衣）、石膏、龙脑各四两，人参、茯苓、甘草（炙）各二两。
以上药物研为末，用蜂蜜制成如弹子大小的丸剂。用酒送服一丸，效果神奇。
Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix), Gan Jiang (Dried Ginger Rhizome) each 5 qian, Bai Zhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) 3 liang, Fu Zi (Prepared Aconite Lateral Root), Rou Gui (Cinnamon Bark) 6 qian.
Decoct rapidly in water and take the decoction; immediate effect is expected.
Xiong Huang (Realgar) 1 liang (ground to powder, wrapped in silk), Gan Cao (Licorice Root) 1 jin.
Add 1 sheng of water, boil to obtain 2 sheng of liquid, and use it to wash the affected area.
Wu Mei (Mume Fruit) 14 pieces, Qian 40 coins (copper cash), Yan (Salt) 30 pinches.
Take the above three ingredients, soak them in 1 sheng of Ku Jiu (bitter wine/vinegar) in a copper vessel for nine days, then use to wash the affected area; effective.
This syndrome is caused by Yin deficiency of the Liver and Kidney, with Damp-Heat pouring downward. Although similar to Hernia (Shan Qi), Yi (carbuncle/abscess) presents with redness and swelling of the scrotum, internal heat, dry mouth, and dark, scanty, or painful urination; whereas Shan (hernia) presents with lower abdominal pain radiating to the testicles, a sensation of slight heat but predominant cold, and a preference for hot drinks. This is the distinction. This formula should be used at the initial stage.
Chuan Xiong (Ligusticum Rhizome), Dang Gui (Angelica Sinensis Root), Bai Shao (White Peony Root), Sheng Di (Rehmannia Root), Chai Hu (Bupleurum Root), Dan Cao (Gentiana Root), Zhi Zi (Gardenia Fruit), Tian Hua Fen (Trichosanthes Root), Huang Qin (Scutellaria Root) each 1 qian; Ze Xie (Alisma Rhizome), Mu Tong (Akebia Stem), Gan Cao (Licorice Root) each 5 fen.
Decoct in 2 bowls of clear water until 1 bowl remains; take before meals.
Zi Yong (Testicular Abscess) refers to pain in the testicles, leading to ulceration and pus formation. If not treated urgently, it may endanger life. The formula is as follows:
Chuan Lian (Toosendan Fruit), Qin Jiao (Gentiana Macrophylla Root), Chen Pi (Tangerine Peel), Chi Shao (Red Peony Root), Gan Cao (Licorice Root), Fang Feng (Saposhnikovia Root), Ze Xie (Alisma Rhizome) each 1.5 qian; Gou Ju (Poncirus Fruit) 1 piece.
Decoct in water and take orally; one dose leads to cure.
Fu Zi (Prepared Aconite Lateral Root) 1 piece (pao processed until cracked), Yan (Salt) 1 pinch (size of Fu Zi).
Grind these two into a powder. After bathing the head, apply an amount fitting a square-inch spoon (Fang Cun Bi) to massage the vertex of the head, three times daily. Alternatively, taking Yu Feng San (Wind-Dispelling Powder) is also effective.
Man Jing Zi (Vitex Fruit), Bai Zhi (Angelica Dahurica Root), Gan Cao (Licorice Root), Ban Xia (Pinellia Tuber), Xi Xin (Asarum Root) each 1 qian; Chuan Xiong (Ligusticum Rhizome) 5 qian.
Decoct in wine; becoming intoxicated once cures it. If not cured, take again.
Chai Hu (Bupleurum Root), Yu Li Ren (Prunus Seed), Mai Dong (Ophiopogon Tuber) each 5 qian; Xin Yi (Magnolia Flower), Jie Geng (Platycodon Root) each 3 qian; Bai Shao (White Peony Root) 3 liang; Gan Cao (Licorice Root) 1 qian.
Decoct in 3 bowls of water to obtain juice, add 1 sheng of aged wine, and drink while hot; stop when intoxicated.
Chuan Xiong (Ligusticum Rhizome), Zhu Sha (Cinnabar, processed by water levigation, 1 liang used as coating), Shi Gao (Gypsum Fibrosum), Long Nao (Borneol) each 4 liang; Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix), Fu Ling (Poria), Gan Cao (Licorice Root, roasted) each 2 liang.
Grind all into powder, mix with honey to form pills the size of quail eggs. Take one pill with wine; miraculous effect.
