Pound the above five herbs together into a powder. Take two qian per dose, decoct in Mian Tang (Flour Soup) and mix to take. Generally, for women after childbirth, one must frequently inquire about the parturient. If the discharged lochia is excessive, there is no need to repeatedly apply purgative methods; excessive application will lead to extreme deficiency of blood and qi, causing restlessness, dizziness, and illness. If the discharge is less than usual or absent, urgent attack (invigoration of blood and removal of stasis) is necessary. This is because blood follows qi; if it rises and covers the heart, it causes restlessness and fullness/urgency in the heart region. These two situations are different, and careful examination is essential. Since the parturient's constitution is deficient, one must not recklessly administer decoctions or powders. If there are no other specific signs, only administering Qi-regulating and Blood-treating decoctions/powders is most excellent.
