Another prescription: Take three sheng of soybeans, place them in a new cloth bag, submerge in a well overnight, then take out. Each person takes seven grains.
Another prescription: Place red adzuki beans in a new cloth bag, submerge in a well for three days, then take out. Adult males take ten beans, adult females take twenty beans.
Treatment of Plague Qi causing Spleen Swelling: Boil red adzuki beans with Cortex Mori (*Sangbaipi*) and eat them.
Treatment of Plague Evil Qi and Hundred Diseases: Take one jujube, recite the spell: "Hua Biao Zhu" (Pillar of the Imperial Memorial Arch). Recite it seven times, gaze towards the Tiangang star direction, inhale one breath, and blow it onto the jujube.
Treatment of Hundred Evils and Ghosts: Make pills from head scum (*Tougou*) the size of adzuki beans, swallow with water.
Treatment of Evil Influence and Zhuguan Qi, causing stabbing pain and spasms in the abdomen: Take about half a qian of real Musk (*Shexiang*), grind with wine, and take to stop pain immediately.
Treatment for Evil Spirits encountered during long journeys: Upon arriving at the lodging, face the open sky/air and write the Nine Dragons Talisman (*Jiulong Fu*), thereby suppressing all evil spirits and monsters so they dare not move.
