It can also be made into porridge or added to wine.
The Cishi can be reused according to the previous method.
Jinyingzi Jian (Rosa Laevigata Decoction): Pick after frost using bamboo tongs. Pound in a wooden mortar to remove thorns without damaging the fruit. Split into two pieces, remove seeds, wash thoroughly, pound into a pulp, and place in a large pot. Add water and decoct without stopping the fire. When half the water has evaporated, remove, clarify, filter, and re-decoct until thick like malt syrup. Take two spoons on an empty stomach, mixed with a zhan of warm wine. The efficacy is immeasurable. (Shen Cunzhong said: Rosa laevigata stops seminal emission and diarrhea due to its warmth and astringency. It is a great mistake to wait for full redness to extract juice and make paste. Full redness loses its nature; picking when half-yellow is best, especially in October and December.)

Take five jin of white Fuling, remove the black skin, crush and sieve. Wrap in cooked silk cloth and steam over three dou of rice. Stop when rice is cooked, dry in sun, and steam again. Repeat twice. If cooking meals, first drink okra juice; eating freely afterwards causes no harm.
Fuling Mian (Poria Flour): Dongpo wrote to Cheng Zhengfu: "I suffered from hemorrhoids for twenty-one years. Recently, they flared up severely, and all medicines failed. I wished to fast (abstain from grains) and rely on purity to overcome them, but could not. Now I have abstained from alcohol, meat, salt, vinegar, sauces, and pickles, and all flavorful foods. I have also stopped eating white rice, consuming only bland noodles. Occasionally, I eat a small amount of sesame and Fuling flour to satisfy hunger. Sesame is black sesame; peel it, steam for a long time, and dry. Fuling should have its skin removed and mixed with a little white honey for best taste. Eating it mixed with sesame is delicious. After taking this for many days, my strength did not decline, and hemorrhoids gradually receded. He also said: Once you know this flour and bland noodles, other medicines are unnecessary; all diseases will depart. This is the true method for longevity."
Xiao Dan (Small Elixir): Taken by the elderly, it extends life, calms the spirit and soul, nourishes qi, blood, and meridians, enhances intelligence, disperses wind-dampness, improves hearing and vision, strengthens sinews and bones, beautifies skin and complexion, and stabilizes qi.

Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Mix with refined honey to form pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take 30 to 50 pills with wine before meals. Avoid five pungent spices, raw green onion, coriander, maltose, and carp. For those with weak constitutions prone to frequent illness, omit Zhuru and double Dihuang. For frequent forgetfulness, double Yuanzhi and Fuling. For shortness of breath and spiritual deficiency, double Fupenzi. For lustrous complexion, double Baiziren. For wind-deficiency, double Tianxiong. For deficiency-cold, double Guixin. For dark and turbid urine, triple Fuling and single Zexie. For vomiting and reverse flow, double Renshen. This formula tonifies exhaustion and benefits blood, dispels wind-cold and hundred diseases, treats all deficiencies and insufficiencies, essence depletion and spirit exhaustion in the elderly, and injuries and menstrual disorders in women.
Jiaogan Dan (Interacting Elixir): Yu Yiju's son, Tongfeng, said: "At fifty-one, I met Mr. Shen from Tie Weng, who taught me secret techniques. Take a small amount every morning and evening to brush teeth.
Qishi Dan (Seven-Solid Pills): Treats all types of diarrhea and dysentery in the elderly. This medicine cures chronic diarrhea and dysentery refractory to other treatments. It is particularly suitable for severe cold-type slippery diarrhea ("tiger cold spleen").
Fuzi (Processed Aconite Root), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Chenpi (Aged Tangerine Peel), Ganjiang (Dried Ginger, each 1 liang), Wuzhuyu (Evodia Fruit, soaked), Houpo (Magnolia Bark, ginger-processed), Nan Jiao (Southern Pepper), Shangliu Huang (Imported Sulfur, each half liang).
Finely chop the ingredients, roast slowly over low heat, and grind into powder. Mix evenly with sulfur powder. Decoct rice vinegar and mix to form two portions of dough. Knead with half a jin of white flour to bind properly, divide into two portions, and wrap the medicine inside like baking flatbread. Roast over moderate fire until the dough is cooked. Remove the dough, pound in a mortar three hundred times, and form pills the size of paulownia seeds.
For various diarrhea and dysentery, take 20 pills with rice soup on an empty stomach at noon. For qi pain and retained food, take 20 pills with ginger-salt soup on an empty stomach at noon. The effect is miraculous.
