另一方治疗秃疮，每次剃头后，用银匠店中浸泡银子的水，热洗一遍，用猪蹄爪末，麻油调敷。
(This condition begins with redness and erosion around the anus or scrotum, gradually spreading to the skin which fails to form scabs. If redness also appears at the corners of the eyes and mouth, failure to treat it early will inevitably lead to necrosis and death. For patients with this condition, bathing is strictly prohibited. One should only use soft silk dipped in Licorice Decoction (Gancao Tang) to gently wipe the area clean before applying medication. Even if the rash spreads over the entire body, it can be saved.)
Mung Bean Powder (1 liang), Pearl (Zhenzhu, 1 qian), Calomel (Qingfen, 1.5 qian), Borneol (Bingpian, 2 fen), Bovine Calculus (Xihuang/Niu Huang, 1 fen). Grind into fine powder. Mix with Jin Zhi (Golden Juice) for topical application using a goose feather. If Jin Zhi is unavailable, snow water may be used. Licorice and Juncus Decoction (Gancao Dengcao Tang) is also acceptable. Internally administer Huodu Dan (Detoxification Pill).
Scrophulariae Radix (Yuanshen), Platycodonis Radix (Jiegeng), Poria Cocos with Red Core (Chiling) (each 2 qian), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), Gentianae Radix (Longdancao), Menthae Haplocalycis Herba (Bohe), Atraphaxidis Fructus (Qingdai), Forsythiae Fructum (Lianqiao) (each 1 qian), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) (0.5 qian).
Add twenty cun of Junci Medulla (Dengcao), decoct in water, and take orally.
(For infants suffering from Houzi Gan [Monkey Malnutrition Syndrome], the nursing mother should also take medicine.)
Coptidis Rhizoma (Chuanlian), Akebiae Caulis (Mutong) (each 0.5 qian), Lonicerae Japonicae Flos (Yinhua), Paeoniae Radix Rubra (Chishao), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui) (each 1.5 qian), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao), Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix (Niuxi), Gardeniae Fructus (Heishanzhi) (each 1 qian), Menthae Haplocalycis Herba (Bohe).
Decoct in fresh spring water and take orally.
(Treats eyelids closing due to Gan accumulation.)
Rehmanniae Radix Recens (Shengdihuang), Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata (Shudihuang) (each 5 qian), Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Poria Cocos with Red Core (Chifuling), Aurantii Fructus (Zhike), Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xingren, peeled and tip removed), Coptidis Rhizoma (Chuanhuanglian), Pinelliae Fermentatum (Banxiaqu), Gastrodiae Rhizoma (Tianma).
Take 2-3 qian per dose. Guide the medicine with fifteen black soybeans and 2 fen of ginger. Decoct in water and take orally.
(Treats Gan qi entering the eyes, and swelling, pain, and photophobia of the eye conjunctiva after smallpox.)
Flos Myricariae (Mimenghua) (2 qian), Seeds of Celosia (Qingxiangzi), Ophthalmia (Juemingzi), Plantaginis Seed (Cheqianzi) (each 1 qian, stir-fried).
Grind into fine powder. Take one large slice of sheep liver, thinly slice, sprinkle the powder on it, wrap in wet paper, and bake until cooked. Eat on an empty stomach.
Sun Simiao said: For children aged four or five who can only call out names but cannot speak, grind Vigna angularis (Chixiaodou/Adzuki bean) into powder, mix with wine, and apply under the tongue.
Pine Resin (Songxiang, 2 liang ground into powder, placed inside a green onion tube, tied securely with thread, boiled until dissolved, remove onion, dry), Minium (Huandan, processed by water levigation, 1 liang), Palace Powder (Gongfen, stir-fried), Wumingyi (Lead Oxide).
Grind all together into fine powder. Mix with Sesame Oil (Xiangyou) for topical application. Extremely effective.
Another prescription for treating tinea capitis (Tu Chuang): After each haircut, wash once with hot water infused from silver stored in silversmith shops. Then, apply a paste made from pig trotter claw powder mixed with sesame oil.
