雄黄解毒方：将雄黄飞净（提纯），郁金晒干研粉，与巴豆一同用米醋煎煮浓缩，制成丸剂，用温开水送服，用于攻治急症。
龙虎二仙方：包含龙胆草、犀角、黄芩、黄连、膏地母（可能指某种地黄制品或特定药材）、蚕、栀子、木通、元参、勃蓝根（板蓝根）、牛蒡子，引用大青叶和粳米为宜。
除瘟化毒方：葛根、黄芩为佳，加入蚕、地骨皮、蝉蜕、栀子、木通、贝母，再加山豆根粉、甘草、桑叶，用于治疗白喉初起，效果无误。

回生万应丹：包含血竭、牛黄、乳香、石决明、珍珠、黄连、黄柏、儿茶、黛蛤散、白芷、硼砂、郁金、粉草（甘草）、薄荷末，对急症开关开窍有功。
醋磨木鳖汁需浓稠，依次涂抹牙龈、舌底及天花板（上颚），立即通畅。
血竭冰硼散最为灵验：包含儿茶、元参、麝香、雄精（雄黄精制品）、僵蚕、甘草、元明粉（玄明粉），吹入喉中可保平安。
救急异功散法度灵验：包含斑蝥、血竭、全蝎、麝香、冰片、乳香、没药、元参，共同贴敷于颈部，若有水泡生成则适用。
瓜霜散：取人中白、朱砂、明雄黄、冰片，共同研成细末，频频吹调，是治疗喉症的真正诀窍。
石青消毒方：胆矾加上山豆根、冰硼散、大劈砂（硇砂）、石膏、黛蛤散、元明粉和中白，频频吹入喉内，自然佳妙。

砂散法破除乳蛾：称量矾石、石青、盐三种药物明确比例，适用于单侧或双侧蛾子及喉闭，此方功效立竿见影。
蒜泥拔毒散尤为良善：取穴经渠穴，仔细审察，若水泡升起，针刺挑破，拔出恶毒之气，自然安康。
清心涤肺方：包含地蚕（白僵蚕）、黄芩、天冬、麦冬、二冬（天冬、麦冬合称）、贝母、寻花粉（天花粉）、柏子仁、甘草并知母，酌情加入玉竹和条参（党参）。

Chuwen Huadu Fang (Remove Plague and Transform Toxin Formula): Radix Puerariae (Gegen, 葛根) and Scutellaria baicalensis (Huangqin, 黄芩) are excellent. Add silkworm, Cortex Lycii (Dipi, 地皮), Cicada slough (Chanthui, 蝉蜕), Gardenia jasminoides (Zhizi, 栀子), Akebia quinata (Mutong, 木通), Fritillaria thunbergii (Beimu, 贝母), plus powder of Sophora flavescens (Shandoudoufen, 山豆根粉), Glycyrrhiza uralensis (Gancao, 甘草), and Morus alba leaves (Sangye, 桑叶). This is suitable for the initial stage of diphtheria (Baihou, 白喉) without error.
There is also Shengong Pixie San (Divine Merit Evil-Expelling Powder): Contains silkworm, Cicada slough, Radix Puerariae, Cortex Lycii, Fritillaria thunbergii, Kadsura longipedunculata (Dongqin, 冬芩 - likely a variant or specific local name, possibly referring to Scutellaria or similar), Scutellaria baicalensis, Forsythia suspensa (Lianqiao, 连翘), Akebia quinata, Ophiopogon japonicus, Honeysuckle (Yinhua, 银花), and Arctium lappa. It can lighten severe cases of diphtheria.
Shenxian Huoming Tang (Immortal Life-Saving Decoction): Contains Gentiana scabra, Scutellaria baicalensis, Cicada slough, Cortex Lycii, silkworm, processed Rehmannia, Polygonum multiflorum (Tufuling, 土茯苓), Akebia quinata, Fritillaria thunbergii, Plantago asiatica (Cheqian, 车前), Honeysuckle, and Pilobolus (Mabo, 马勃). It has merit in opening orifices for acute conditions.
Vinegar-grinded Momordica cochinchinensis juice must be thick. Apply sequentially to the gums, under the tongue, and the hard palate (Tianhuaban, 天花板). Immediate patency will follow.
Xuejie Bingpeng San (Hematite and Ice-Pearl Powder) is most divine: Contains Myrobalan, Ophiopogon japonicus, Moschus (Shexiang, 麝香), Realgar essence (Xiongjing, 雄精), Bombyx mori larva (Jiangcan, 僵蚕), Glycyrrhiza uralensis, and Mirabilite (Yuanmingfen, 元明粉). Blow into the throat to ensure peace.
Jiuji Yigong San (Emergency Extraordinary Merit Powder) follows a spiritual method: Contains Mylabris (Banmao, 斑蝥), Hematite, Scorpio (Xiezhi, 蝎子), Moschus, Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian, 冰片), Boswellia carterii, and Commiphora myrrha (Myao, 没药), along with Ophiopogon japonicus. Paste together and apply to the neck. It is indicated if blisters form.

Use this decoction initially when the necrotic membrane recedes.
Yinhua Si Junzi Tang (Honeysuckle Four Gentlemen Decoction) harmonizes: Codonopsis pilosula, Atractylodes macrocephala, Poria cocos, Ziziphus jujuba (Wumei, 乌梅 - note: typically not in Si Junzi, but listed here), Glycyrrhiza uralensis follow. Guide with Morus alba leaves (Dongsangye, 冬桑叶), which is best for those with inherent spleen and stomach deficiency to nourish Ying and Wei Qi.
