This medicine has a mild nature and flavor but possesses great efficacy. It comprehensively treats all seasonal epidemics and pestilences, including those transmitted between people, characterized by aversion to cold with high fever, mental confusion, physical fatigue, joint pain, anorexia, and abdominal distension. It also treats heatstroke in summer, sha syndrome, cholera with vomiting and diarrhea, spring plague, summer malaria, autumn dysentery, common cold due to wind-cold, and mountain miasma. For various diseases, usually two pills are taken, dissolved in boiling water; for severe cases, four or five pills are taken, with no failure in efficacy. In cases of jin kou li (dysentery with inability to eat), where drinking water causes immediate vomiting, hold one pill in the mouth to dissolve slowly and swallow gradually to open the stomach qi, thereby restoring the ability to eat. Sincerely treating others often yields immediate results. The prescription is listed below, hoping that benevolent gentlemen will be willing to give and share, prepare it widely for relief, so that those living in poor thatched huts who cannot afford medical care may rely on this treatment for serious illnesses.
