Discourse states: When Yin Qi (Yin Energy) accumulates in the lower part and Yang Qi (Yang Energy) is excessive in the upper part, if the ascending and descending functions are not timely, it results in Pi Jie (obstruction and knotting) and Lei Shou (emaciation). Moreover, those who consume Lu Shi (mineral drugs/stones) often fail to regulate their diet and lack proper lifestyle management. Heat Qi (Heat Energy) blazes in the upper body, causing Yin and Yang to be isolated and unable to communicate. The essence of food and water cannot moisten and nourish the tissues, leading to dry and rough muscles, chest and diaphragm obstruction, abdominal distension, and fullness. Over time, Zheng Qi (Upright Qi/Healthy Qi) becomes weak, and emaciation worsens day by day. This is indeed inevitable. The treatment method should focus on regulating the obstruction in the chest and diaphragm, and harmonizing Yin and Yang. In this way, the obstruction will clear, and the pathogenic potential of the mineral drugs will subside.
