Discussion: The *Neijing* (Classic of Internal Medicine) states that the Large Intestine and Bladder receive turbid qi from the five Zang organs, termed "transmission and transformation fu-organs" (Chuanhua zhi fu). These organs cannot retain contents for long and must transport and excrete them. In women, the large intestine and small intestine originally harbor heat pathogens. After childbirth, blood and qi are suddenly depleted, and body fluids dry up internally. Dryness and heat contend with each other, causing constipation and obstruction in the large and small intestines, impairing their transmission function, thus resulting in the simultaneous obstruction of both defecation and urination.
