Discourse states: Pediatric tidal fever is characterized by body heat that occurs and ceases at regular intervals, hence the name "tidal fever." This condition arises from improper care, where wind-cold pathogenic factors lodge between the muscle layers (fenrou). Whenever Wei Qi (Defensive Qi) reaches this area, the healthy Qi and pathogenic factors contend with each other, resulting in fever. To determine which meridian is affected, one should observe the timing of symptom exacerbation or alleviation; to identify the involved Zang-Fu organs, treatment should be administered according to the respective meridians.
