麝香（研细半钱） 牛黄（研细一两） 黄连（去须） 桂枝（去粗皮各二两） 雄黄（研细） 乌贼鱼骨（煅烧至尽） 赤蜈蚣（去头足炒制）
以上十一味药，除巴豆外，其余各捣碎研成粉末，加入巴豆膏混合均匀研磨，用炼蜜调和，放入臼中捣熟，装入密封容器中。婴儿出生半个月至一个月，服用如黍米大一丸；一百日至二百日，服用如麻子大二丸；一岁以上，根据体力酌情加减，均用米汤送服。
治疗小儿食痫抽搐，以及各种变蒸（婴幼儿生长发育过程中的生理现象），腹中宿积痞块，饮食不节制，腹部胀满且身体温热壮热，早晚发作加重，大小便不通，脾胃气虚。牛黄丸方：
牛黄（研细一分） 雀屎白（炒制半两） 芍药（三分） 川芎（一两） 黄芩（细锉一分） 干姜（炮黑心者各半两）
以上十三味药，捣碎过筛成粉末，与巴豆膏混合均匀，用炼蜜制成丸剂。一岁的婴儿服用如黍米大二丸，二三岁的幼儿服用如绿豆大三丸，均用米汤送服，以轻微腹泻为度，再根据患儿体型大小酌情加减。
治疗小儿多种疾病，一岁以上，包括三十六种无辜疳湿、闪癖、食痫、天行时疫、赤眼、急黄等一切病症。麝香丸方：
麝香（细研） 牛黄（细研各半两） 杏仁（热水浸泡去皮尖双仁研如膏状） 丹砂（细研） 芍药（微炒研如膏状）
以上十一味药，除巴豆外，其余各捣碎研成粉末，加入巴豆，用炼蜜调和捣击三千下，装入密封容器中贮存。待服用时取两丸，如麻子大，温水送服，根据患儿大小酌情加减。
治疗小儿食痫，无辜闪癖。雄黄丸方：
雄黄（研细） 丹砂（研细） 牛黄（研细各一分） 麝香（研细半分） 石膏（半两） 蕤仁（去皮另研）
以上九味药，除分别研细外，其余捣碎过筛成粉末，混合均匀研磨，用炼蜜制成丸剂，如油麻子大。每次服用一至二丸，用米汤送服，以通利大便为度，再根据患儿大小酌情加减。
治疗小儿多种痫病，寒热交替、呕吐腹泻、不能哺乳。龙胆汤方：
龙胆草 当归（切后焙干） 大黄（锉碎炒制） 黄芩（去黑心部分） 栝蒌根 甘草（炙制） 桂枝（去粗皮） 人参
以上十二味药，粗捣过筛。二三岁的幼儿每服一钱匕，加水一盏，大枣一枚掰开，同煎至五分，去渣滓，分两次温服，再根据患儿大小酌情加减。
治疗小儿食痫，魍魉及三十六种无辜，五疳八痢，惊风天钓。真珠丸方：
真珠（细研一两） 牛黄（细研） 杏仁（去皮尖双仁炒制研如膏状各半两） 丹砂（细研） 牡蛎（去黑皮一两） 甘草（炙锉半两） 附子（炮裂去皮脐一分）
以上十二味药，除分别研细外，其余捣碎过筛成粉末，一处混合均匀研磨，用炼蜜制成丸剂，如麻子大。每次服用一至二丸，用米汤或桃仁汤送服，排出恶物，若排出如鱼脑青色的物质则见效，再根据患儿大小酌情加减。
治疗小儿食痫，以及疳黄。丹砂饼子方：
丹砂（研细一两半） 黄鹰粪（拣选干净） 白丁香（各一分） 棘刚子（二十五枚微炒） 粉霜（研细） 冰片（研细各半钱）
以上十六味药，捣碎研细拌匀，用稀面糊调和制成丸剂，如黄米大，捏成饼子形状，以丹砂为衣。每次服用一个饼子，用薄荷汤化开送服，再根据患儿大小酌情加减。
Discourse states: When infants and children suffer from epilepsy (Xian Bing) caused by irregular breastfeeding and feeding, it is termed Food Epilepsy (Shi Xian). The symptoms include traction of the mouth and eyes, upward rolling of the eyeballs, spasmodic jerking of the hands and feet, and stiffness and rigidity of the back and spine. This is a pathological condition resulting from the counterflow of Qi.
To treat Food Epilepsy in infants and children, as well as newborns suffering from external fright (Ke Wu), sudden evil invasion with fever, indigestion of milk and food, cyanotic complexion, drooping eyelids, Ding Xi disease (a type of malnutrition characterized by abdominal distension and emaciated limbs), skeletal emaciation, crossed shins, and inability to walk at three years of age. Musk Pill Formula (She Xiang Wan):
Musk (She Xiang, ground, half qian) [Moschus]
Calcined Bull Gallstone (Niu Huang, ground, one liang) [Bovis Calculus]
Coptis Rhizome (Huang Lian, de-veined) [Coptidis Rhizoma]
Cinnamon Twig (Gui Zhi, bark removed, two liang each) [Cinnamomi Ramulus]
Realgar (Xiong Huang, ground) [Realgar]
Cuttlefish Bone (Wu Zei Gu, calcined until complete) [Sepiae Endoconcha]
Red Centipede (Chi Wu Gong, processed) [Scolopendra]
The above eleven ingredients, except for Croton Seed (Ba Dou), are each pounded and ground into powder. Add Croton Paste, mix evenly, and grind thoroughly. Blend with refined honey, pound in a mortar until ripe, and store in a sealed container. For infants born half a month to one month old, administer one pill the size of a millet seed; for those aged 100 to 200 days, administer two pills the size of a hemp seed; for those over one year old, adjust dosage according to strength. All should be taken with rice water.
To treat infantile Food Epilepsy with convulsions, various physiological transformations (Bian Zheng), chronic epigastric masses in the abdomen, irregular diet, abdominal fullness with high fever, worsening in the morning and evening, constipation and urinary retention, and weak Spleen and Stomach Qi. Cow Bezoar Pill Formula (Niu Huang Wan):
Calcined Bull Gallstone (Niu Huang, ground, one fen) [Bovis Calculus]
White Sparrow Droppings (Que Shi Bai, stir-fried, half liang) [Passer Domesticus Excrement]
Peony Root (Shao Yao, three fen) [Paeoniae Radix Rubra]
Ligusticum Rhizome (Chuan Xiong, one liang) [Chuanxiong Rhizoma]
Scutellaria Root (Huang Qin, finely cut, one fen) [Scutellariae Radix]
Dried Ginger (Gan Jiang, charred inside, half liang each) [Zingiberis Rhizoma Preparatum]
The above thirteen ingredients are pounded, sifted into powder, mixed evenly with Croton Paste, and formed into pills using refined honey. For one-year-old infants, administer two pills the size of a millet seed; for toddlers aged two or three, administer three pills the size of a mung bean. Take all with rice water. The treatment is considered effective when there is mild diarrhea. Adjust further based on the child's size.
To treat various diseases in infants and children over one year old, including thirty-six types of Innocent Malnutrition (Wu Gu Gan) with dampness, Flash Bi syndrome, Food Epilepsy, epidemic febrile diseases, red eye, acute jaundice, and all other conditions. Musk Pill Formula (She Xiang Wan):

Peony Root (Shao Yao, lightly stir-fried, ground into paste) [Paeoniae Radix Rubra]
The above eleven ingredients, except for Croton Seed, are each pounded and ground into powder. Add Croton Seed, blend with refined honey, and pound three thousand times. Store in a sealed container. When administering, take two pills the size of a hemp seed, washed down with warm water. Adjust dosage according to the child's size.

Prunus Persica Kernel (Rui Ren, skin removed, separately ground) [Persicae Semen]
The above nine ingredients, excluding those separately ground, are pounded and sifted into powder, mixed uniformly, and formed into pills using refined honey, the size of a sesame seed. Administer one or two pills per dose, taken with rice water. The goal is bowel movement. Adjust further based on the child's size.
To treat various epilepsies in infants and children, alternating cold and heat, vomiting and diarrhea, inability to breastfeed. Gentian Decoction Formula (Long Dan Tang):
Gentian Root (Long Dan Cao) [Gentianae Radix et Rhizoma]
Angelica Sinensis Root (Dang Gui, sliced and dried) [Angelicae Sinensis Radix]
Rhubarb Rhizome (Da Huang, cut and stir-fried) [Rhei Radix et Rhizoma]
Scutellaria Root (Huang Qin, black heart removed) [Scutellariae Radix]
Trichosanthes Root (Gua Lou Gen) [Trichosanthis Radix]
Licorice Root (Gan Cao, honey-fried) [Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma]
Cinnamon Twig (Gui Zhi, bark removed) [Cinnamomi Ramulus]

The above twelve ingredients are coarsely pounded and sifted. For toddlers aged two or three, administer one qian bi per dose. Add one cup of water and one jujube split open. Decoct together until five parts remain. Strain and divide into two warm doses. Adjust further based on the child's size.
To treat infantile Food Epilepsy, spirits (Wang Liang), thirty-six types of Innocent conditions, five types of Malnutrition (Gan), eight types of Dysentery, and convulsive wind with sky-hooking posture (Tian Diao). Pearl Pill Formula (Zhen Zhu Wan):
Pearl (Zhen Zhu, finely ground, one liang) [Margarita]
Calcined Bull Gallstone (Niu Huang, finely ground) [Bovis Calculus]
Almond (Xing Ren, skin and tip removed, double-kernel, stir-fried and ground into paste, half liang each) [Armeniacae Semen Amarum]
Cinnabar (Dan Sha, finely ground) [Cinnabaris]
Oyster Shell (Mu Li, black skin removed, one liang) [Ostrea Concha]
Licorice Root (Gan Cao, honey-fried and cut, half liang) [Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma]
Prepared Aconite Root (Fu Zi, cracked, skin and umbilicus removed, one fen) [Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata]
The above twelve ingredients, excluding those separately ground, are pounded and sifted into powder, mixed uniformly, and formed into pills using refined honey, the size of a hemp seed. Administer one to two pills per dose, taken with rice water or Peach Kernel Decoction. Expel foul matter; efficacy is indicated if greenish matter resembling fish brain is discharged. Adjust further based on the child's size.
To treat infantile Food Epilepsy and Malnutrition Jaundice. Cinnabar Cake Formula (Dan Sha Bing Zi):
Cinnabar (Dan Sha, ground, one and a half liang) [Cinnabaris]
Yellow Hawk Droppings (Huang Ying Tiao, selected and cleaned) [Accipiter Kuroshio Excrement]
White Civet Cat Droppings (Bai Ding Xiang, one fen each) [Viverridae Excrement]
Calotropis Fruit (Ji Gang Zi, twenty-five fruits, lightly stir-fried) [Calotropis Fructus]
Calomelas (Fen Shuang, ground) [Hydrargyri Chloridum Solubile]
Borneol (Bing Pian, ground, half qian each) [Borneolum Syntheticum]
The above sixteen ingredients are pounded and ground into fine powder, mixed evenly, and bound with thin wheat flour paste to form pills the size of yellow millet. Shape into cakes, coat with Cinnabar. Dissolve one cake per dose in Mint Decoction and administer. Adjust further based on the child's size.
