Discussion states: "Feixue" (Flying Blood) refers to red blood vessels scattered on the surface of the Baijing (white part of the eyeball). This condition arises from deficiency of Qi in the Liver, allowing Wind-Heat pathogenic factors to invade, causing blood to float and overflow, scattering into the collaterals and the Baijing. Its momentum is like rapid flight, hence the name "Feixue". The treatment method should calm the Liver Qi and level Heart Fire, after which Feixue will naturally resolve.
