Commentary states: In the human body, blood (Xue) nourishes internally while Qi circulates externally to protect, looping endlessly. If muscles, tendons, bones, or joints are accidentally injured or fractured, Qi and Blood become stagnant, causing pain. In a sudden emergency, if proper care is neglected, the injuries will not heal completely, and fractures will not unite. Mild cases result in swelling of the skin and flesh; severe cases lead to dislocation of the acetabulum. The treatment principle should first involve reducing the bone and supporting the fracture, followed by the application of pastes, plasters, and bandages.
