论曰胞受水液，气未传行，则少腹满胀，或饱食用力，或因合阴阳，令胞屈辟，小便不
下，遂致胞转，其候水道不通，少腹急痛，烦闷汗出，气道奔迫，甚者乃至于死，宜速治之
治胞转脐下急满。或因霍乱而得。琥珀汤方
琥珀（研一两） 阿胶（炙燥半两别捣） 葱白（切二七茎） 车前子（锉三两）
上四味，先用水五盏，煎葱并车前草，至三盏许，滤去滓，次下胶末，候消。次又下琥
珀末，微煎过，分作三服，不计时候温服。
治胞转不得小便。蒲黄散方
蒲黄 滑石（各一两）
上二味，捣罗为散，每服二钱匕，鸡子清调下。
治胞转小便不通。石苇汤方
石苇（去毛一两） 榆白皮（锉一升） 鬼箭羽（三两） 滑石（碎四两） 葵子 木
通（锉）
上七味，粗捣筛，每服五钱匕，水一盏半，煎至一盏，去滓温服。
治胞转不得不便，秦艽汤方
秦艽（不拘多少去苗土）
上一味，粗捣筛，每服五钱匕，水一盏半，煎至一盏，去滓温服并服，以瘥为度。
治胞转，小便不利。芍药汤方
赤芍药 车前子叶 木通各一两
上三味，并细锉，每服五钱匕，水一盏半，煎至一盏，去滓温服。
治胞转，小便不通。滑石汤方
滑石（碎一两） 乱发（烧灰） 鲤鱼齿 雀粪（各一分） 琥珀（半两） 芒硝（一
分）
上六味，粗捣筛，每服三钱匕，水一盏，煎至七分，去滓不计时温服。
治胞转小便不利烦闷。琥珀汤方
琥珀 大黄（锉炒） 滑石（碎） 车前子 车前叶（各一两）
上五味，粗捣筛，每服二钱匕，水一盏，葱白半分拍碎，煎至七分，去滓温服，不拘时
治胞转，不得不便。车前草饮方
车前草（一握去根洗锉）
上一味，以水三盏，煎至二盏，去滓分三服。连并服不拘时。
治转胞小便不通，八九日。滑石汤方
滑石（碎一两半） 寒水石（碎一两） 冬葵子（半合）
上三味，粗捣筛，每服五钱匕，水一盏半，煎至八分，去滓食前温服。
论述说：膀胱接受水液，若气机未能正常传输运行，就会导致小腹部胀满。这可能是由于饱食后用力，或者进行房事，导致膀胱扭曲闭塞，小便无法排出，从而造成“胞转”（膀胱扭转或功能急骤障碍）。其症状表现为水道不通，小腹部拘急疼痛，心烦闷乱并出汗，气机奔迫急促，严重时甚至会导致死亡，因此应当迅速治疗。
治疗胞转引起的脐下拘急胀满。或因霍乱而引发的病症。琥珀汤方：
琥珀（研磨一两） 阿胶（炙烤至干燥半两，单独捣碎） 葱白（切七茎） 车前子（锉碎三两）
以上四味药，先用水五盏，煎煮葱和车前草，煎至约三盏时，滤去药渣，接着加入胶末，等待其溶化。然后再加入琥珀末，轻微煎煮过后，分作三次服用，不限时间，温服。
治疗胞转导致的小便不通。蒲黄散方：
蒲黄 滑石（各一两）
以上两味药，捣碎过筛制成散剂，每次服用二钱匕，用鸡蛋清调服。
治疗胞转引起的小便不通。石苇汤方：
石苇（去毛一两） 榆白皮（锉碎一升） 鬼箭羽（三两） 滑石（打碎四两） 葵子 木通（锉碎）
以上七味药，粗捣筛匀，每次服用五钱匕，用水一盏半，煎至一盏，滤去药渣，温服。
治疗胞转导致的不便（指排尿困难），秦艽汤方：
秦艽（不拘多少，去苗土）
以上一味药，粗捣筛匀，每次服用五钱匕，用水一盏半，煎至一盏，滤去药渣，温服并服用，以病愈为度。
治疗胞转，小便不利。芍药汤方：
赤芍药 车前子叶 木通 各一两
以上三味药，都细锉碎，每次服用五钱匕，用水一盏半，煎至一盏，滤去药渣，温服。
治疗胞转，小便不通。滑石汤方：
滑石（打碎一两） 乱发（烧成灰） 鲤鱼齿 雀粪（各一分） 琥珀（半两） 芒硝（一分）
以上六味药，粗捣筛匀，每次服用三钱匕，用水一盏，煎至七分，滤去药渣，不限时间，温服。
治疗胞转导致的小便不利、心烦闷乱。琥珀汤方：
琥珀 大黄（锉碎炒制） 滑石（打碎） 车前子 车前叶（各一两）
以上五味药，粗捣筛匀，每次服用二钱匕，用水一盏，葱白半分拍碎，煎至七分，滤去药渣，温服，不限时间。
治疗胞转，不便（指排尿困难）。车前草饮方：
车前草（一把，去根洗净锉碎）
以上一味药，用水三盏，煎至二盏，滤去药渣，分三次服用。连续服用，不限时间。
治疗转胞（即胞转）导致的小便不通，病程已八九天。滑石汤方：
滑石（打碎一两半） 寒水石（打碎一两） 冬葵子（半合）
以上三味药，粗捣筛匀，每次服用五钱匕，用水一盏半，煎至八分，滤去药渣，饭前温服。
Commentary states: The bladder receives fluids. If the Qi mechanism fails to transmit and circulate normally, it results in fullness and distension of the lower abdomen. This may be caused by exertion after a full meal or sexual intercourse, causing the bladder to twist and close off (Bladder Reversal/Turn), leading to the inability to urinate, thereby resulting in "Bao Zhuan" (Bladder Reversal). The manifestations include obstruction of the urinary pathway, acute pain and tension in the lower abdomen, irritability, stifling sensation, sweating, and urgent, rushing Qi. In severe cases, it may lead to death; therefore, prompt treatment is required.
For treating Bladder Reversal with acute fullness below the umbilicus, possibly arising from Cholera: Hupo Tang (Amber Decoction) Formula:
Hupo (Amber, ground, 1 liang) Ejiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin, roasted until dry, 0.5 liang, separately pounded) Congbai (Scallion White, cut, 7 stalks) Cheqianzi (Plantago Seed, crushed, 3 liang)
Take the above four ingredients. First, use five zhan of water to decoct the scallion white and Plantago herb until reduced to approximately three zhan. Strain out the dregs. Next, add the powdered gelatin and wait for it to dissolve. Then add the powdered Amber, simmer slightly, divide into three doses, and take warm at any time.
For treating Bladder Reversal with inability to urinate: Puhuang San (Pollen Typhae Powder) Formula:
Puhuang (Pollen Typhae) Shihuo (Talcum, each 1 liang)
Pound and sieve the above two ingredients into a powder. Take 2 qianbi per dose, mixed with egg white for administration.
For treating Bladder Reversal with urinary obstruction: Shiwei Tang (Periplocae Radix Decoction) Formula:
Shiwei (Periplocae Folium, de-haired, 1 liang) Yubaipi (Ulmus Alba Cortex, crushed, 1 sheng) Guijianyu (Cornus Swinhoei Ramulus, 3 liang) Shihuo (Talcum, crushed, 4 liang) Kuizi (Abutilon Seed) Mutong (Akebiae Caulis, crushed)
Sieve the above seven ingredients coarsely. Take 5 qianbi per dose, decocted in one and a half zhan of water until reduced to one zhan. Strain and take warm.
For treating Bladder Reversal with difficulty in urination: Qinjiao Tang (Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix Decoction) Formula:
Qinjiao (Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix, quantity unspecified, remove seedlings and soil)
Coarsely sieve the single ingredient. Take 5 qianbi per dose, decocted in one and a half zhan of water until reduced to one zhan. Strain and take warm. Continue until recovery.
For treating Bladder Reversal with impaired urination: Shaoyao Tang (Paeoniae Radix Rubra Decoction) Formula:
Chishaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra) Cheqianziye (Plantago Seed Leaf) Mutong (Akebiae Caulis, each 1 liang)
Finely crush the above three ingredients. Take 5 qianbi per dose, decocted in one and a half zhan of water until reduced to one zhan. Strain and take warm.
For treating Bladder Reversal with urinary obstruction: Shihuo Tang (Talcum Decoction) Formula:
Shihuo (Talcum, crushed, 1 liang) Luankuifa (Human Hair, burnt to ash) Liyuchi (Cyprini Carassii Dens) Quefen (Passeris Excrement, each 1 fen) Hupo (Amber, 0.5 liang) Mangxiao (Natrii Sulfas, 1 fen)
Coarsely sieve the above six ingredients. Take 3 qianbi per dose, decocted in one zhan of water until reduced to 0.7 zhan. Strain and take warm at any time.
For treating Bladder Reversal with impaired urination, irritability, and stifling sensation: Hupo Tang (Amber Decoction) Formula:
Hupo (Amber) Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, crushed and stir-fried) Shihuo (Talcum, crushed) Cheqianzi (Plantago Seed) Cheqianye (Plantago Leaf, each 1 liang)
Coarsely sieve the above five ingredients. Take 2 qianbi per dose, decocted in one zhan of water with 0.5 fen of crushed scallion white until reduced to 0.7 zhan. Strain and take warm at any time.
For treating Bladder Reversal with difficulty in urination: Cheqiancao Yin (Plantago Herb Drink) Formula:
Cheqiancao (Plantago Herb, one handful, remove roots, wash, and crush)
Decoct the single ingredient in three zhan of water until reduced to two zhan. Strain and divide into three doses. Take continuously at any time.
For treating Bao Zhuan (Bladder Reversal) with urinary obstruction persisting for eight or nine days: Shihuo Tang (Talcum Decoction) Formula:
Shihuo (Talcum, crushed, 1.5 liang) Hanshuishi (Halloysitum Rubrum, crushed, 1 liang) Dongkuizi (Abutili Semen, 0.5 he)
Coarsely sieve the above three ingredients. Take 5 qianbi per dose, decocted in one and a half zhan of water until reduced to 0.8 zhan. Strain and take warm before meals.
