Commentary states: The *Neijing* (Inner Canon) mentions that "diseases of the two Yang channels originate in the Heart and Spleen." If there are hidden difficulties or emotional constraints, women may experience amenorrhea. This condition transmits and develops into "Feng Xiao" (Wind Wasting). This occurs because gastrointestinal disease affects the Heart and Spleen, leading to Heart-Spleen pathology, deficiency and scarcity of Essence and Blood, allowing Wind pathogens to take advantage of the weakness, causing the body to become increasingly emaciated and wasted.
