腰痛，小儿胁下坚。肉∶味甘。主伤中，益气，补不足。《药性论》云∶鳖甲，使。能下气，
除骨热，治妇人漏下五色，羸瘦。头血∶涂脱肛。日华子云∶去血气，恶血，堕胎，消疮肿
并扑损瘀血，疟疾，肠痈，疗脱肛。恶∶矶石、理石。

骨，味咸，微温，无毒。主女子漏下赤白，经汁血闭，阴蚀肿痛，寒热症瘕，无子，惊
气入腹，腹痛环脐，阴中寒肿，令人有子，又止疮多脓。《药性论》云∶使。有小毒。止妇
人漏血及耳聋。日华子云∶通月经。骨∶疗血崩，杀虫，心痛甚者。孟诜云∶主目中一切浮
翳。恶∶白蔹、白芨、附子。

荑。一名∶ 蜓。
味咸辛，平，无毒。主小儿惊痫夜啼，去三虫，灭黑 ，令人面色好，男子阴疡病，女
子崩中赤白，产后余痛。《药性论》云∶有小毒。治口噤，发汗。日华子云∶治中风失音，
一切风疾，小儿客忤。蚕蛹子∶治风及劳瘦。恶∶桑螵蛸、桔梗、茯苓、茯神、萆 。
【鳖甲】
味咸，性平，无毒。主治心腹部的症瘕（腹内结块），坚积（坚硬积聚）引起的寒热，消除痞块，治疗息肉、阴部蚀疮及痔疮恶肉，疗治温疟（以高热为主症的疟疾）、血瘕（腹部血结块）、腰痛，以及小儿胁下坚硬肿块。
鳖甲肉：味甘。主治中焦损伤，益气，补益不足。《药性论》记载：鳖甲为使药。能降气，清除骨蒸潮热，治疗妇人五色带下，身体消瘦羸弱。
鳖甲头血：涂抹可治疗脱肛。
日华子记载：能去除血气中的恶血，堕胎，消除疮肿及跌打损伤导致的瘀血，治疗疟疾、肠痈，疗治脱肛。
相反药物：矶石、理石。
【白僵蚕】
味咸甘，性寒，无毒。主治小儿惊痫（惊风抽搐）、夜间啼哭，癫病伴寒热，惊悸，妇人乳汁不通，胎盘滞留不出。又能堕胎。
《药性论》记载：白僵蚕为使药。味酸。主治小儿惊哭不止，杀灭疳虫，清除壮热，治疗肠中幽幽作响。
又记载蝉蜕为使药。主治小儿全身壮热，惊痫，兼能止渴。
蝉花：味甘，性寒，无毒。主治小儿天吊（急惊风），惊痫抽搐，夜间啼哭心悸。
产地：蜀地。其蜕壳头上长有一角，如花冠状，称为蝉花，品质最佳。
【龟板/龟甲】
骨，味咸，微温，无毒。主治女子漏下赤白带下，经血闭止，阴部蚀痛肿胀，寒热症瘕，不孕，惊气入腹，腹痛环绕肚脐，阴中寒肿，使人能够受孕，又能止住疮疡多脓。
《药性论》记载：龟板为使药。有小毒。止妇人漏血及耳聋。
日华子记载：通调月经。
龟板：治疗血崩，杀虫，心痛剧烈者。
孟诜记载：主治眼中一切浮翳。
相反药物：白蔹、白芨、附子。
【水蛭】
味咸，性寒，有小毒。主治五癃（五种小便不通）邪气结聚。破除石淋（尿路结石），下血，通利小便水道。
相反药物：硫黄、斑蝥、芜荑。
别名：蜓。
【白僵蚕（续）】
味咸辛，性平，无毒。主治小儿惊痫夜间啼哭，去除三虫（蛔虫、蛲虫、姜片虫等寄生虫），灭除黑斑，使面色红润，治疗男子阴部溃疡，女子崩中赤白带下，产后余痛。
《药性论》记载：有小毒。治疗口噤（牙关紧闭），发汗。
日华子记载：治疗中风失音，一切风疾，小儿客忤（小儿惊吓）。
蚕蛹子：治疗风疾及劳瘦（虚劳消瘦）。
相反药物：桑螵蛸、桔梗、茯苓、茯神、萆薢。
[Trionyx Carapace]
Salty in flavor, neutral in nature, non-toxic. It primarily treats zheng jia (abdominal masses) and jian ji (hard accumulations) in the heart and abdomen, cold and heat arising from these conditions, removes pi (fullness/lumps), polyps, yin shi (erosive lesions of the genitalia), hemorrhoidal malignant flesh, cures wen nue (warm malaria characterized by high fever), xue jia (blood masses in the abdomen), lower back pain, and hard lumps under the hypochondrium in children.
Meat: Sweet in flavor. Primarily treats damage to the middle jiao, tonifies qi, and supplements deficiencies. The *Yao Xing Lun* states: Trionyx carapace serves as a guiding drug. It can descend qi, clear bone-steaming heat, treat five-colored leukorrhea in women, and emaciation.
Head blood: Applied topically to treat rectal prolapse.
Ri Hua Zi states: It removes evil blood from qi and blood, induces abortion, reduces carbuncles and swellings, resolves bruised blood from falls and injuries, treats malaria and intestinal abscesses, and cures rectal prolapse.
Incompatible drugs: Jishi (Arsenolite), Lishi (Calcium Carbonate).
[White Stiff Silkworm]
Salty and sweet in flavor, cold in nature, non-toxic. It primarily treats infantile convulsions and epilepsy with night crying, dian disease with cold and heat, palpitations due to fright, difficulty in lactation in women, and retention of the placenta. It can also induce abortion.
The *Yao Xing Lun* states: White stiff silkworm serves as a guiding drug. Sour in flavor. It primarily treats incessant crying due to fright in infants, kills gan parasites, clears vigorous heat, and treats rumbling sounds in the intestines.
It also states that Cicada Slough serves as a guiding drug. It primarily treats vigorous heat throughout the body in infants, convulsions and epilepsy, and can also relieve thirst.
Cicada Flower: Sweet in flavor, cold in nature, non-toxic. It primarily treats tian diao (acute infantile convulsion), convulsions and epilepsy with spasms, night crying, and palpitations.
Origin: Shu region. The slough has a horn-like growth on its head resembling a flower crown, called Cicada Flower, which is of the best quality.
[Turtle Shell]
Bone, salty in flavor, slightly warm in nature, non-toxic. It primarily treats red and white leukorrhea in women, amenorrhea, erosive swelling of the genitalia, cold and heat with zheng jia, infertility, fright qi entering the abdomen, abdominal pain circling the umbilicus, cold swelling in the vagina, promotes conception, and stops excessive pus in sores.
The *Yao Xing Lun* states: Turtle shell serves as a guiding drug. Slightly toxic. It stops uterine bleeding and deafness in women.
Ri Hua Zi states: It regulates menstruation.
Turtle shell: Treats metrorrhagia, kills parasites, and severe heart pain.
Meng Shen states: It primarily treats all kinds of floating nebulae in the eyes.
Incompatible drugs: Bailian (Ampelopsis Radix), Baiji (Bletilla Rhizome), Fuzi (Prepared Aconite Root).
[Leech]
Salty in flavor, cold in nature, slightly toxic. It primarily treats wu long (five types of urinary obstruction) and pathogenic qi accumulation. It breaks down stone lin (urinary calculi), stops bleeding, and promotes urination through the water passages.
Incompatible drugs: Liuhuang (Sulfur), Banmao (Mylabris), Wuyi (Changanthus Fruit).

The *Yao Xing Lun* states: Slightly toxic. It treats trismus (lockjaw) and induces sweating.
Ri Hua Zi states: It treats aphonia due to wind-stroke, all wind diseases, and ke wu (infantile fright).
Silkworm Pupa: Treats wind diseases and wasting-thirst syndrome with emaciation.
