瓜蒂（二十个）
上锉以水一升，煮去五合，去滓顿服。
尤在泾曰∶暑之中人也，阴虚而多火者，暑即寓于火之中，为汗出而烦渴。阳虚而多湿者，暑即伏于湿之内，
为身热而疼重。故暑病恒以湿为病而治湿，即所以治暑。瓜蒂苦寒，能吐能下，去身面四肢水气，水去而暑无所
根据，将不治而自解矣。此治中暑兼湿者之法也。
治一切药毒，菰子鼠莽恶菌，疫死牛马河豚等毒，及时行瘟疫，山岚瘴疟，缠喉风痹，黄胆赤眼，疮疖热毒
上攻，或自缢溺水，打扑伤损，痈疽发背，鱼脐疮肿，百虫蛇犬所伤，男子妇人癫邪狂走，鬼胎鬼气，并宜服之。
山慈姑（去皮，洗焙，二两） 川文蛤（一名五倍子，捶破洗，刮内桴，二两） 麝香（细研尽，三钱） 红
芽大戟（洗焙，一两） 千金子（去壳，用纸包裹，换纸研数十次，去尽油，无油成霜，二两。）
上各研细末和匀，以糯米粥为剂，每料分作四十粒，于端午、七夕、重阳合，如欲急用，
辰日亦得，于木臼中杵数百下，不得令妇人、孝服人、不具手足人、及鸡犬之类见之。
麦门冬（七升） 半夏（一升） 人参 甘草（各二两） 粳米（三合） 大枣（十二枚）
上六味，以水一斗二升，煮去六升，温服─升，日三，夜─服。
霖按∶此方治胃中津液干枯，虚火上炎之良法。海藏去半夏加竹叶，治房劳复气欲绝者佳。

将药材切碎，用水一升，煮至剩余五合，滤去药渣，一次性服用。
尤在泾说：暑邪侵袭人体，阴虚且火旺的人，暑邪就依附于火中，表现为出汗且烦渴；阳虚且多湿的人，暑邪就潜伏在湿邪内，表现为身体发热且沉重疼痛。所以暑病常兼有湿邪致病，治疗湿邪，也就是在治疗暑邪。瓜蒂味苦性寒，既能催吐又能泻下，能去除身体、面部及四肢的水气，水气去除后暑邪就失去了依附的基础，不用专门治疗暑邪也会自行解除。这是治疗中暑兼夹湿邪的方法。
治疗各种药物中毒，如菰子、鼠莽、毒蘑菇，以及疫死的牛马、河豚等毒素，还有时行瘟疫、山岚瘴气疟疾、缠喉风痹症、黄疸赤眼、疮疖热毒上攻，或者是自缢溺水、跌打损伤、痈疽发背、鱼脐疮肿、被百虫蛇犬咬伤，男子妇人癫狂邪祟、鬼胎鬼气等，都适宜服用此方。
山慈姑（去皮，洗净焙干，二两） 川文蛤（又名五倍子，捶破洗净，刮取内部粉末，二两） 麝香（细研至极细，三钱） 红芽大戟（洗净焙干，一两） 千金子（去壳，用纸包裹，更换纸张研磨数十次，去尽油脂，无油成霜状，二两。）
将各药分别研成细末并混合均匀，用糯米粥作为粘合剂制成丸剂，每料分成四十粒，选择在端午节、七夕节、重阳节制作，如果急需使用，选择辰日也可以，在木臼中捣杵数百下，不能让妇女、穿孝服的人、肢体残缺不全的人以及鸡狗等动物看见。

以上六味药，用水一斗二升，煮至剩余六升，温服一升，每日三次，夜间一次。
霖按：此方是治疗胃中津液干枯、虚火上炎的良法。海藏（张元素）去掉半夏加入竹叶，治疗房劳复感导致气欲绝的情况效果很好。
Cordylia Melon Pedicel (Gua Di) (20 pieces)
Crush the medicinal material, boil with one sheng of water until reduced to five ge, remove the dregs, and take in a single dose.
You Zaijing stated: When Summerheat pathogen invades the human body, in individuals with Yin deficiency and excessive Fire, Summerheat resides within the Fire, manifesting as sweating accompanied by irritability and thirst; in individuals with Yang deficiency and excessive Dampness, Summerheat lies concealed within the Dampness, manifesting as fever accompanied by heaviness and pain in the body. Therefore, Summerheat diseases are often complicated by Dampness pathology; treating Dampness is equivalent to treating Summerheat. Cordylia Melon Pedicel is bitter and cold, capable of inducing vomiting and purging, removing fluid retention from the body, face, and limbs. Once the fluid retention is removed, Summerheat loses its basis for attachment and will resolve spontaneously without direct treatment for Summerheat. This is the method for treating Summerheat complicated by Dampness.
It treats all kinds of drug poisonings, such as those from Gazi, Shumang, poisonous mushrooms, as well as toxins from epidemic-dead cattle and horses, pufferfish, etc., along with seasonal epidemics, mountain miasma malaria, strangling throat wind-bi syndrome, jaundice with red eyes, carbuncles and furuncles with heat-toxin attacking upwards, or self-hanging drowning, blunt trauma injuries, carbuncles on the back, fish-umbilicus swelling, injuries from bites by insects, snakes, and dogs, mania and madness due to evil spirits in men and women, ghost fetus and ghost qi. All these conditions are suitable for taking this formula.
Cremastra Appendiculata Bulb (Shan Ci Gu) (peeled, washed, and dried, two liang) River Clam Shell Chinked (Chuan Wen Ge) (also known as Chinese Gallnut, Wubeizi, crushed, washed, scraped for internal powder, two liang) Musk (She Xiang) (finely ground to extreme fineness, three qian) Red-root Spurge Root (Hong Da Ji) (washed and dried, one liang) Croton Seed (Qian Jin Zi) (shelled, wrapped in paper, replaced with fresh paper and ground dozens of times until all oil is removed, leaving a residue like frost, two liang.)
Grind each herb into fine powder and mix evenly. Use rice porridge as a binder to form pills. Divide each batch into forty pills. Prepare them on the Dragon Boat Festival, Qixi Festival, or Double Ninth Festival. If urgent use is required, the Chen day is also acceptable. Pound hundreds of times in a wooden mortar. Do not allow women, mourners in mourning clothes, people with missing limbs, or animals such as chickens and dogs to see the process.
This is the previous Xiangru Yin (Elsholtzia Decoction), added with Coptis Rhizome (Huang Lian).
Ophiopogon Tuber (Mai Men Dong) (seven sheng) Pinellia Tuber (Ban Xia) (one sheng) Ginseng Root (Ren Shen) Licorice Root (Gan Cao) (two liang each) Rice Grain (Jing Mi) (three ge) Jujube Fruit (Da Zao) (twelve pieces)
Take the above six ingredients, boil with twelve dou of water until reduced to six dou. Take one sheng warm, three times daily, and once at night.
Lin noted: This formula is an excellent method for treating dryness of stomach fluids and deficient fire flaming upward. Hai Zang (Zhang Yuansu) removed Pinellia Tuber (Ban Xia) and added Lophatherum Herb (Zhu Ye), which is excellent for treating cases where vital energy is about to fail due to relapse after sexual exertion.
