又方 苦瓠膜（二分） 葶苈子（五分）
上二味合捣为丸如小豆大，服五丸，日三。
又方 大枣肉（七枚） 苦瓠膜（如枣核大）。
上捣为末，丸，一服三丸。如人行十五里久，又服二丸，水出，更服一丸，即止。
又方 葶苈 桃仁（各等分）
上二味皆熬，合捣为丸，服之，利小便。一方用杏仁。
又方 捣生葶苈子，醋和服，以小便数为度。
又方 烧姜石令赤，纳黑牛尿中令热，服一升，日二。
又方 单服牛尿，大良。凡病水服。无不瘥。服法先从少起，得下为度。
又方 煎人尿令可丸，服如小豆大，日三。
治水通身肿方∶
煎猪椒枝叶如饧，空腹服一匕，日三，痒，以汁洗之。
又方灸法 灸足第二趾上一寸，随年壮。
又灸两手大指缝头七壮。
治风水，通身肿欲裂，利小便方。
麻黄 茯苓 泽泻（各四两） 防风 泽漆 白术（各五两） 杏仁 大戟（各一升） 黄
猪苓（各三两） 独活（八两） 大豆（二升，水七升煮取一升）， 清酒（一升）
上十三味 咀，以豆汁酒及水一斗合煮，取六升，分六七服，一日一夜，令尽，当小便
极利为度。
治疗全身严重水肿，头面及周身肿胀的方剂。
苦瓠（一种葫芦科植物果实）的白色瓤实，捏成如大豆大小，用面粉包裹煮一沸，空腹吞服七枚，到中午时分应当排出水液一升，如果三四天后水液仍不止地排出，身体会变得非常消瘦，此时病愈。三年内需谨慎饮食口味，苦瓠必须品质良好，没有黑斑瑕疵，纹理细腻且研磨洁净者方可使用，否则有毒不可用。（崔氏记载：若小便过多，则一二日后停止）。
又一方：苦瓠膜（二分），葶苈子（五分）。
以上两味药合捣制成丸药，大小如小豆，每次服用五丸，每日三次。
又一方：大枣肉（七枚），苦瓠膜（如枣核大小）。
以上捣碎为末，制丸，每次服用三丸。如人行走十五里路的时间后，再服用二丸，待水液排出后，再服用一丸，随即停止。
又一方：葶苈、桃仁（各等分）。
以上两味药均炒制，合捣制成丸药，服用它，可通利小便。另一版本使用杏仁。
又一方：将姜石烧至通红，放入黑牛尿中使其变热，服用一升，每日两次。
又一方：单服牛尿，效果极佳。凡患水肿病者服用，无不痊愈。服用方法先从少量开始，以下泻为度。
治疗全身浮肿的方剂：
煎煮猪椒枝叶如饴糖状，空腹服用一匕，每日三次，若有瘙痒，用汁液清洗患处。
又灸两手大拇指缝头七壮。
治疗风水病，全身肿胀欲裂，通利小便的方剂。
麻黄、茯苓、泽泻（各四两），防风、泽漆、白术（各五两），杏仁、大戟（各一升），黄芩、猪苓（各三两），独活（八两），大豆（二升，用水七升煮取一升汁），清酒（一升）。
以上十三味药切碎，用豆汁、酒及水共一斗合煮，取六升药液，分六七次服用，在一日一夜内服完，以小便极度通畅为度。
Formula for treating severe edema with swelling of the head, face, and entire body.
The white pithy flesh of *Kuhu* (a fruit of a Cucurbitaceae plant) is shaped like a soybean, wrapped in flour, boiled for one boil, and taken on an empty stomach: seven pills at a time. By noon, one sheng (approx. 200ml) of fluid should be discharged. If the discharge continues incessantly for three to four days, the body will become emaciated, at which point the disease is cured. Dietary restrictions are required for three years. The *Kuhu* must be of good quality, free from black spots or defects, finely textured, and thoroughly cleaned; otherwise, it is toxic and unusable. (Cui Shi notes: if urination is excessive, it stops after one or two days).
Another formula: *Kuhu* membrane (2 fen), *Tinglizi* (Lepidii Semen/Descurainiae Semen, 5 fen).
Pound these two ingredients together and make pills the size of small beans. Take five pills, three times daily.
Another formula: Flesh of Jujube (7 fruits), *Kuhu* membrane (size of a jujube pit).
Pound into powder, make pills. Take three pills per dose. After walking for the distance of fifteen li (approx. 7.5 km), take two more pills. Once fluid discharge occurs, take one final pill, then stop.
Another formula: *Tinglizi* (Lepidii Semen/Descurainiae Semen), *Taoren* (Persicae Semen) (equal parts).
Fry both ingredients, pound together, and make pills. Taking them promotes diuresis. Another version uses *Xingren* (Pruni Semen).
Another formula: Pound fresh *Tinglizi* (Lepidii Semen/Descurainiae Semen) and mix with vinegar for oral administration. Continue until frequent urination is achieved.
Another formula: Burn *Jiangshi* (a type of mineral stone) until red hot, then immerse it in black bull's urine to heat it. Take one sheng, twice daily.
Another formula: Consume bull's urine alone, which is highly effective. It cures all cases of water retention disease. Start with a small amount and increase until purgation is achieved.
Another formula: Decoct human urine until it can be formed into pills, size of small beans. Take three times daily.
Formula for treating generalized edema:
Decoct branches and leaves of *Zhujiao* (likely referring to a specific medicinal plant, possibly Zanthoxylum or similar aromatic herb used topically/orally here) until syrup-like. Take one bi (approx. 2-3 grams) on an empty stomach, three times daily. If itching occurs, wash with the juice.
Another moxibustion method: Moxa on the point one cun above the second toe, number of moxa cones based on patient's age.
Also moxa seven cones at the webbing between the thumbs of both hands.
Formula for treating Fengshui (Wind-water edema) with generalized swelling causing skin tension as if about to burst, promoting diuresis.
*Mahuang* (Ephedrae Herba), *Fuling* (Poria), *Zexie* (Alismatis Rhizoma) (each 4 liang); *Fangfeng* (Saposhnikoviae Radix), *Zeqi* (Phytolaccae Radix), *Baizhu* (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) (each 5 liang); *Xingren* (Pruni Semen), *Daji* (Euphorbiae Pekinensis Radix) (each 1 sheng); *Huangqin* (Scutellariae Radix), *Zhuling* (Polyporus) (each 3 liang); *Duohuo* (Angelicae Pubescentis Radix) (8 liang); *Dadou* (Sojae Semen Preparatum/Glycine Max) (2 sheng, decocted in 7 sheng of water to obtain 1 sheng of liquid); *Qingjiu* (Clear Wine) (1 sheng).
Chop the thirteen ingredients. Decoct together with bean liquid, wine, and water totaling one dou (approx. 10 liters) to obtain six sheng of liquid. Divide into six or seven doses, consumed within one day and night. The treatment is considered effective when urination becomes extremely profuse.
