姜石（二十五两） 牡蛎（十两，崔氏作七两） 茯苓（三两） 枸杞根皮（四两）
上四味各捣筛合和，先取新枸杞根合皮切六升，水一斗半，煎取五升，去滓，纳狗屎（崔
氏云尿）二升，搅令调，澄取清和前药熟捣，捻作饼子阴干。病者以两根刃针当头直刺疮，
痛彻拔针出，刮取药末急纳疮孔中，勿令歇气，并遍封疮。头上即胀起，针挑根即出。重者，
半日以上即出，或已消烂。根挑不出亦自瘥，勿忧。其病在内者，外当有肿相应，并皆恶寒
发热，以水半盏，刮取药如梧子大五枚和服之，日夜三服，即自消也。若须根出，服药经一
日，以鸡羽剔吐，即随吐根出。若不出，根亦自消烂。在外者，亦日夜三度敷药，根出后常
敷勿住，即生肉易瘥。若犯诸忌而发动者，取枸杞根合皮骨切三升，以水五升，煮取二升，
去滓，研药末一钱匕，和枸杞汁一盏服之，日二三服。并单饮枸杞汁弥佳。又以枸杞汁搅白
狗屎，取汁服之更良。合讫即可用，不待干。所言白狗屎是狗食骨，其屎色如锻石，故言白
狗屎也。如预制取，五月五日、七月七日、九月九日、腊月腊日尤良神验。或有人忽喉中痛
，乍寒乍热者，即是其病，当即以此疗之。无故而痛，恶寒发热者，亦是此病，但根据前服之
，立瘥。前后二方同是一法，其用相同，亦主痈疽，甚效。
治疔肿病，忌见麻勃，见之即死者方∶
胡麻 烛烬 针砂（等分）
上三味为末，以醋和敷之。
又方 锻石（三分） 马齿菜（二分）
上二味捣，以鸡子白和敷之。
锻石乃壮火之余烈，善破阴毒恶疮。《本经》有疽疡瘙热恶疮死肌之治。马齿菜散血消
肿；鸡子白清气解热，能使疔肿外出。勿以贱而忽诸。
又方 针刺四边及中心，涂雄黄末立愈，神效。（一云涂黄土）。
又方 鼠新坌土，以小儿尿和敷之。
又方 铁衣未，以人乳汁和敷之立愈。
又方 小豆花为末，敷之瘥。
又方 以人屎尖敷之，立瘥。
又方 以四神丹一枚，当头上安，经宿根即出矣。
治一切疔切疔肿疔肿方∶
用苍耳根茎苗子，但取一色烧为灰，醋泔淀和如泥涂上，干即易，不过十度，根即拔，
神良。余以贞观四年，忽口角上生疔肿达耳，予令？十日不瘥。余以此药涂之，得
愈。以后常作此药以救人，无不瘥者，故特论之以传后人。疔肿方千首，皆不及此，虽齐州
荣姥方亦不能胜此物之造次易得也。
又方 取铁浆，每饮一升，立瘥。
又方 腊月猪脂以面和，封上瘥。
又方 蒺藜子一升烧灰，酽醋和，封上经宿便瘥。或针破头，封上更良。
又方 皂荚子取仁作末敷之，五日内瘥。

以上四味药分别捣碎过筛后混合均匀。先取新鲜的枸杞根连同树皮切六升，加水一斗半，煎煮至剩余五升，滤去药渣，加入狗屎（崔氏方说用狗尿）二升，搅拌使其调和，澄清后取上清液，与前药末充分研磨混合，捏制成饼状，在阴凉处晾干。患病者用两根锋利的针垂直刺入疮口中心，疼痛剧烈时拔出针，迅速将药末填入疮孔中，不要中断呼吸（意指操作要连贯迅速），并将疮口周围全部封住。头部随即肿胀隆起，用针挑破根部即可排出毒根。病情重的，半天以上即可排出，或者已经自行消烂。如果毒根挑不出来也会自愈，不必担忧。如果病邪在内，体表会有相应的肿胀，都伴有恶寒发热症状，用水半盏，刮取药末如梧桐子大小五枚，配合服用，每日三次，即可自行消散。如果需要排出毒根，服药经过一天后，用鸡毛剔除催吐，毒根就会随着呕吐物排出。如果不吐出，毒根也会自行消烂。对于体表的疔肿，也每日敷药三次，毒根排出后继续敷药不停止，就能长出新肉容易痊愈。如果触犯禁忌导致病情发作，取枸杞根连同树皮和骨头切三升，加水五升，煮取二升，滤去药渣，取药末一钱匕，配合枸杞汁一盏服用，每日二到三次。单喝枸杞汁效果更好。又用枸杞汁搅拌白狗屎，取其汁液服用更佳。配制好后即可使用，不需要等待干燥。所说的白狗屎是指狗吃了骨头后的粪便，其颜色像锻石一样，所以称为白狗屎。如果是预先制备，五月五日、七月七日、九月九日、腊月腊日制作尤其灵验神效。如果有人突然喉咙痛，忽冷忽热的，就是这种病，应当立即用此法治疗。无故疼痛，伴有恶寒发热的，也是此病，只要按照前面的方法服用，立刻痊愈。前后两个方子同属一种治法，用法相同，也主治痈疽，效果很好。
治疗疔肿病，忌讳见到麻勃，见到就会死亡的方子：
胡麻 烛烬 针砂（等分）
以上三味药研成粉末，用醋调和后敷贴患处。
另一个方子：锻石（三分） 马齿菜（二分）
以上两味药捣碎，用鸡蛋清调和后敷贴患处。
锻石是烈火燃烧后的余烈，善于破除阴毒恶疮。《神农本草经》记载有治疗疽疡瘙痒热毒恶疮死肌的功效。马齿菜能散血消肿；鸡蛋清能清气解热，能使疔肿向外发散。不要因为药材低贱而忽视它们。
另一个方子：针刺疔肿四周及中心，涂抹雄黄粉末，立刻痊愈，神效。（另一种说法是涂抹黄土）。
另一个方子：用老鼠新窝里的土，用小孩尿液调和后敷贴。
另一个方子：用铁衣未（可能是指铁锈或特定铁制品残留物），用人乳调和敷贴，立刻痊愈。
另一个方子：用小豆花研成粉末，敷贴患处痊愈。
另一个方子：用人粪尖敷贴，立刻痊愈。
另一个方子：用一枚四神丹，放在头顶上，经过一夜毒根就会出来。
治疗一切疔切疔肿疔肿的方子：
用苍耳的根茎苗子，只取一种颜色的烧成灰，用醋和淘米水沉淀物调和成泥状涂在上面，干了就换，不超过十次，毒根就会拔除，非常灵验。我在贞观四年，忽然嘴角生疔肿直到耳朵，我让人治疗十天不好。我用这个药涂它，得以痊愈。以后常做这个药救人，没有不好的，所以特别论述以传给后人。治疔肿的方子上千首，都不如这个，即使是齐州荣姥的方子也不能胜过此物容易得到。
另一个方子：取铁浆，每次喝一升，立刻痊愈。
另一个方子：腊月猪脂用面粉调和，封贴患处痊愈。
另一个方子：蒺藜子一升烧成灰，用浓醋调和，封贴患处经过一夜就痊愈。或者针破头部，封贴更好。
另一个方子：皂荚子取仁研成粉末敷贴，五日内痊愈。
Radix Saposhnikoviae (Jiangshi, 25 liang) Ostreae Concha (Muli, 10 liang; Cui's formula uses 7 liang) Poria (Fuling, 3 liang) Cortex Lycii Radicis (Gouqigenpi, 4 liang)
The above four herbs are each pounded and sifted, then mixed together. First, take six sheng of fresh Lycium root with bark, add one dou and a half of water, decoct until five sheng remain, remove the dregs, add two sheng of dog feces (Cui's formula specifies dog urine), stir to mix well, let settle, and take the clear supernatant. Mix this liquid thoroughly with the previously prepared herb powder, knead into cake shapes, and dry in the shade. For the patient, use two sharp needles to pierce straight down into the center of the sore. When the pain is severe, withdraw the needle, immediately pack the herb powder into the wound hole without pausing for breath, and seal the entire area around the sore. The head will immediately swell up; pick out the root with a needle, and it will come out. In severe cases, it may take more than half a day to expel, or it may have already dissolved. If the root cannot be picked out, it will heal on its own, so do not worry. If the pathogen is internal, there will be corresponding swelling externally, accompanied by aversion to cold and fever. Take half a cup of water, scrape off five pills of herb powder the size of a Chinese quince seed (Wuzi), and ingest them. Take three times a day, and they will dissolve spontaneously. If expulsion of the root is required, after taking the medicine for one day, induce vomiting using a chicken feather to probe the throat; the root will be expelled with the vomit. If it does not come out, the root will also dissolve spontaneously. For external sores, apply the medicine three times a day. After the root is expelled, continue applying the medicine without stopping; new flesh will grow, and healing will occur easily. If the disease flares up due to dietary or lifestyle taboos, take three sheng of Lycium root with bark and bones, decoct in five sheng of water until two sheng remain, remove the dregs, take one qianbi of herb powder, and mix with one cup of Lycium juice to drink. Take two to three times a day. Drinking pure Lycium juice alone is even better. Alternatively, mix Lycium juice with white dog feces and drink the juice; this is even more effective. The mixture can be used immediately without waiting for it to dry. The "white dog feces" refers to feces from dogs that have eaten bones; its color resembles smelted iron ore (Duanshi), hence the name. If prepared in advance, making it on the fifth day of the fifth month, seventh day of the seventh month, ninth day of the ninth month, or the last day of the twelfth lunar month is particularly efficacious. If someone suddenly suffers from throat pain alternating with chills and fever, this is the disease, and it should be treated immediately with this method. Pain without cause, accompanied by aversion to cold and fever, is also this disease; simply follow the previous administration method, and recovery will be immediate. Both formulas share the same principle and usage, and are also effective for treating carbuncles and ulcers.
Formula for treating Ding-sores (hard, deep-seated infections), where seeing Sesame Pollen (Mabo) causes death:
Sesame Seed (Huma) Candle Soot (Zujin) Iron Filings (Zhensha) (Equal parts)
Pound the above three ingredients into powder, mix with vinegar, and apply topically.
Another Formula: Smelted Iron Ore Residue (Duanshi, 3 fen) Purslane (Machicai, 2 fen)
Pound the above two ingredients, mix with egg white, and apply topically.
Duanshi is the residual heat of intense fire, excellent for breaking up yin-toxic malignant sores. The *Shennong Bencao Jing* records its treatment for ulcers, itching, heat toxins, malignant sores, and necrotic tissue. Machicai disperses blood and reduces swelling; egg white clears heat and resolves toxicity, helping to bring the Ding-sore outward. Do not neglect these inexpensive materials.
Another Formula: Pierce the four sides and center of the sore with a needle, apply Rhizoma Realgaris powder (Xionghuang), and it will heal immediately, with divine efficacy. (Another version says apply yellow earth).
Another Formula: Use fresh soil from a rat nest, mix with infant urine, and apply topically.
Another Formula: Use Tieyiwei (iron residue/rust), mix with human breast milk, and apply topically for immediate healing.
Another Formula: Pound Vigna radiata flowers (Xiaodouhua) into powder and apply; it heals.
Another Formula: Apply the tip of human feces; it heals immediately.
Another Formula: Place one pill of Sishen Dan on the crown of the head; after one night, the root will emerge.
Formula for treating all types of Ding-cutting Ding-sores:
Use roots, stems, leaves, and seeds of Xanthium sibiricum (Canger), selecting only one color variety, burn to ash, mix with vinegar and rice wash sediment to form a paste, and apply. Change when dry. Within ten applications, the root will be extracted; this is highly efficacious. In the fourth year of Zhenguan, I suddenly developed a Ding-sore on the corner of my mouth extending to the ear. My attendants treated it for ten days without success. I applied this medicine, and it healed. Since then, I have frequently prepared this medicine to save others, with no failures. Therefore, I specially discuss it to pass it on to future generations. Among thousands of formulas for Ding-sores, none surpass this one; even the formula from Old Woman Rong of Qizhou cannot match the ease of obtaining this material.
Another Formula: Take Tiejiang (ferrous sulfate solution/iron rust water), drink one sheng at a time; it heals immediately.
Another Formula: Mix lard from the twelfth lunar month with flour, apply as a poultice; it heals.
Another Formula: Burn one sheng of Tribulus terrestris seeds (Jilizi) to ash, mix with strong vinegar, apply as a poultice; it heals overnight. Or pierce the head first, then apply; this is better.
Another Formula: Take the kernels of Gleditsia sinensis pods (Zaojiazi), pound into powder, and apply; it heals within five days.
