必效钩藤汤，疗小儿壮热，时气惊悸，并热疮出方。
钩藤 人参 蚱蝉（炙） 子芩（各一分） 蛇蜕皮（三寸炙） 龙齿（四分） 防风 泽

各二分） 石膏（一两碎） 竹沥（三合）
上十味切，以水二升并竹沥，煎取七合，细细服之，以瘥为度。
又方
牛黄（两大豆许研） 蚱蝉（炙各二分） 龙齿 麦门冬（去心各四分） 人参（三分）
钩藤
（一分） 茯神 杏仁（十二枚） 蛇蜕皮（三寸炙末入）
上九味切，以水二升，煎取六合去滓，下牛黄末，分六服，消息服之，令尽瘥。
短剧疗小儿夜啼，一物前胡丸方。
前胡（随多少）
上一味捣筛，蜜丸如大豆，服一丸，日三，加至五六丸，以瘥为度。（千金同）
又方
以妊娠时食饮偏有所思者，以哺儿则愈。（千金同）
千金疗小儿夜啼不已，医所不治者方。
取野狼粪中骨烧作灰，水服如黍米粒一枚，即定。
又疗小儿夜啼至明不安寐，芎 散方。
芎 防己 白术（各二分）
上三味捣筛，以乳和之，与儿服之量多少，又以儿母手掩脐中，亦以摩儿头及脊验。二
十日儿未能服散者，以乳汁和之，服如麻子一丸。
又方
交道中土 伏龙肝（各一把）
上二味，以绢筛，水和少许服之瘥。
又方
取马骨烧灰，敷乳上饮儿，啼即止。（并出第五卷中）
备急或常好啼方。
取犬头下毛，以绛囊盛。击儿两手，立效。
必效小儿夜啼方。
以日未出时及日午时，仰卧，着于脐上横文屏气以朱书作血字，其夜即断声效。
古今录验小儿夜啼如腹痛方。
虫（熬令烟尽） 芍药（炙） 芎 （熬各等分）
上三味捣末，服如刀圭，日三，以乳服之。
又疗小儿夜啼不止，腹中痛，宜以乳头散方。
黄 甘草（炙） 当归 芍药 附子（炮） 干姜（各等分）
上六味为散，以乳头饮儿，丸可胡豆三丸，大小量之。
必效钩藤汤，治疗小儿高热、时行疫病引起的惊悸，以及热疮发作的方剂。
钩藤、人参、蚱蝉（经炙烤）、黄芩（各一分）、蛇蜕皮（三寸，经炙烤）、龙齿（四分）、防风、泽泻（各二分）、石膏（一两，捣碎）、竹沥（三合）。
以上十味药切碎，加入水二升和竹沥，煎煮至剩余七合，细细服用，以病愈为度。
另一个方子：
牛黄（约两大豆大小，研细）、蚱蝉（炙，各二分）、龙齿、麦门冬（去心，各四分）、人参（三分）、钩藤（一分）、茯神、杏仁（十二枚）、蛇蜕皮（三寸，炙后研末入药）。
以上九味药切碎，加入水二升，煎煮至剩余六合，滤去药渣，加入牛黄末，分六次服用，根据病情调整服药节奏，直至痊愈。
《短剧》记载治疗小儿夜啼的单味前胡丸方。
前胡（用量不限）。
将一味药捣碎过筛，用蜂蜜制成如大豆大小的丸剂，每次服用一丸，每日三次，可逐渐增加至五六丸，以病愈为度。（与《千金方》相同）
另一个方子：
如果是母亲在妊娠期间饮食偏嗜或有所思念之物，让婴儿食用该物即可痊愈。（与《千金方》相同）
《千金方》记载治疗小儿夜啼不止，医生无法治愈的方子。
取野狼粪便中的骨头烧成灰，用水送服如黍米粒大小的一枚，啼哭即止。
又治疗小儿夜啼直到天明仍不安睡，芎䓖散方。
川芎、防己、白术（各二分）。
以上三味药捣碎过筛，用乳汁调和，根据婴儿情况给予适量服用，同时用母亲的手捂住婴儿肚脐，也可以按摩婴儿头部及背部以验证疗效。如果二十天内婴儿尚不能服用散剂，可用乳汁调和，制成如麻子大小的丸剂服用。
另一个方子：
取交通要道上的泥土和灶心土（伏龙肝）（各一把）。
以上两味药，用绢布筛选，加水少量调服，病即痊愈。
另一个方子：
取马骨烧成灰，敷在乳汁上喂给婴儿，啼哭立即停止。（均出自第五卷）
备急或平时经常啼哭的方子。
取狗头下的毛，用红色袋子盛装。敲击婴儿双手，立即见效。
必效小儿夜啼方。
在日出之前和正午时分，让婴儿仰卧，将朱砂写在婴儿脐部横纹处，屏住呼吸，当晚即可断声见效。
《古今录验》记载小儿夜啼如同腹痛的方子。
蟾蜍（熬至烟尽）、芍药（炙）、川芎（熬，各等分）。
以上三味药捣成末，服用如刀圭大小的量，每日三次，用乳汁送服。
又治疗小儿夜啼不止，腹中疼痛，宜用乳头散方。
黄芪、甘草（炙）、当归、芍药、附子（炮制）、干姜（各等分）。
以上六味药制成散剂，用乳头喂给婴儿，丸剂大小如蚕豆三丸，根据婴儿大小酌情增减。
Bixiao Gouteng Decoction (Hook Vine and Ginseng Decoction) is indicated for pediatric high fever, palpitations due to seasonal epidemics, and the eruption of heat sores.
Gouteng Uncariae Ramulus cum Uncis (Uncaria with Tendrils), Renshen Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Ginseng Root and Rhizome), Zachan Cicada Molt (Cicada Slough, roasted), Huangqin Scutellariae Radix (Scutellaria Root) [each 1 fen], Shetui Snake Skin (Snake Slough, 3 cun, roasted), Longchi Dragon Bone (Fossilized Bones, 4 fen), Fangfeng Saposhnikoviae Radix (Saposhnikovia Root), Zexia Alismatis Rhizoma (Alisma Rhizome) [each 2 fen], Shigao Gypsum Fibrosum (Gypsum Fibrosum, 1 liang, crushed), Zhuli Bamboo Sap (Bamboo Juice, 3 he).
The above ten ingredients are cut, combined with 2 sheng of water and 3 he of bamboo sap, decocted until 7 he remains. Administer finely, stopping when cured.
Another prescription:
Niuhuang Calculus Bovis (Calculus Bovis, approx. size of two large soybeans, ground), Zachan Cicada Molt (roasted, each 2 fen), Longchi Dragon Bone (Fossilized Bones), Maidong Ophiopogonis Tuber (Ophiopogon Tuber, core removed, each 4 fen), Renshen Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Ginseng Root and Rhizome, 3 fen), Gouteng Uncariae Ramulus cum Uncis (Uncaria with Tendrils, 1 fen), Fushen Poria with Hostwood (Poria with Hostwood), Xingren Prunus Seed (Apricot Seed, 12 pieces), Shetui Snake Skin (Snake Slough, 3 cun, roasted and ground into powder).
The above nine ingredients are cut, combined with 2 sheng of water, decocted until 6 he remains. Strain the dregs, add Niuhuang Calculus Bovis (Calculus Bovis) powder, divide into six doses, administer according to the patient's condition, until fully cured.
Duanju records a single-ingredient Qianhu Pill for treating infantile night crying.
Qianhu Peucedani Radix (Peucedani Root) (quantity as needed).
Grind the single ingredient into powder, mix with honey to form pills the size of soybeans. Take one pill three times daily, increasing gradually to five or six pills, stopping when cured. (Same as in Qianjin Fang)
Another prescription:
If the mother had specific dietary cravings or thoughts during pregnancy, allowing the infant to consume that food will cure the condition. (Same as in Qianjin Fang)
Qianjin Fang records a prescription for infantile night crying that persists and resists medical treatment.
Take bones from wild wolf feces, burn them to ash, and administer with water a dose the size of a millet grain. The crying will cease immediately.
Another prescription for infantile night crying persisting until dawn with restlessness: Xiong San Powder.
Xiongsu Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong Rhizome), Fangji Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix (Stephania Root), Baizhu Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Atractylodes Rhizome) [each 2 fen].
Grind the above three ingredients into powder, mix with milk, and administer an appropriate amount to the infant. Additionally, have the mother cover the infant's umbilicus with her hand, or massage the infant's head and spine to verify efficacy. If the infant cannot take the powder after twenty days, mix it with milk and form pills the size of hemp seeds.
Another prescription:
Take soil from a crossroads and Fulonggan Dragon Liver (Stove Earth) [each one handful].
Sift the above two ingredients through silk, mix with a small amount of water, and administer to cure.
Another prescription:
Burn horse bones to ash, apply to breast milk, and feed to the infant; crying stops immediately. (All from Volume 5)
Prescription for emergency use or frequent crying.
Take hair from under a dog's head, store in a crimson bag. Strike the infant's hands; immediate effect.
Bixiao Infantile Night Crying Prescription.
Before sunrise and at noon, place the infant supine. Write the character "blood" (Xue) with cinnabar on the transverse lines of the umbilicus while holding breath. The crying will cease that night.
Gujin Luyan records a prescription for infantile night crying resembling abdominal pain.
Chan Tu Toad Skin (Toad Skin, boiled until smoke ceases), Shaoyao Paeoniae Radix (Peony Root, roasted), Xiongsu Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong Rhizome, boiled) [equal parts].
Grind the above three ingredients into powder. Administer a dose the size of Dao Gui (a traditional measuring tool), three times daily, with milk.
Another prescription for persistent infantile night crying with abdominal pain: Rutu San Powder.
Huangqi Astragali Radix (Astragalus Root), Gancao Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Licorice Root, roasted), Danggui Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Angelica Root), Shaoyao Paeoniae Radix (Peony Root), Fuzi Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Prepared Aconite Root, processed), Ganjiang Zingiberis Rhizoma (Dried Ginger Root) [equal parts].
Grind the above six ingredients into powder. Feed to the infant via the nipple. Form pills the size of broad beans (three pills), adjusting quantity based on the infant's size.
