Avoid wild boar meat, raw green onions, raw vegetables, and asparagus.
Another White Ointment for treating cold damage, applied to the body. Rub the hands a thousand times for the medicinal power to circulate. It also treats malignant sores, children's head sores, and cattle neck saddle sores. First wash the malignant sore with salt water, wipe dry with cloth, apply the ointment to the swelling and rub. For cold damage headache, take orally with wine, one pill the size of an apricot kernel. Cover warmly to induce sweating. For sore throat, hold in mouth the size of a jujube pit, swallow three times daily. Do not let it approach the eyes. (Identical to Qian Jin Fang, avoid pork, etc.)

After taking Gui Zhi Tang (Cinnamon Twig Decoction) causing profuse sweating, if the pulse is flooding, give Gui Zhi Tang (Cinnamon Twig Decoction) according to the previous method. If symptoms resemble malaria, occurring twice a day, resolution comes with sweating. This belongs to Gui Zhi Er Ma Huang Yi Tang (Two Parts Cinnamon Twig Decoction and One Part Ephedra Decoction).
Gui Xin (Cinnamomi Cortex), 1 liang 17 zhu; Xing Ren (Armeniacae Semen), 16 pieces, remove tips and skins; Shao Yao (Paeoniae Radix Alba), 1 liang 6 jie; Ma Huang (Ephedrae Herba), 16 zhu, remove joints;

The above seven herbs are cut. Add 5 sheng of water. First boil Ma Huang (Ephedrae Herba) for one boil, skim off the foam. Then add the remaining herbs. Boil down to 2 sheng. Strain. Take 1 sheng warm, twice daily. Originally stated as combining two parts Gui Zhi Tang (Cinnamon Twig Decoction) and one part Ma Huang Tang (Ephedra Decoction) to make 2 sheng, divided into two doses. Now combined into one prescription. Avoid Hai Zao (Sargassum), Song Cai (Brassica pekinensis), and raw green onions.
Another Gua Di San (Melon Peduncle Powder) for inducing vomiting in cold damage and epidemic febrile diseases.
Chi Xiao Dou (Vigna umbellata Seed), 1 liang; Gua Di (Momordicae Fructus), 1 liang.
The above two herbs are pounded into powder. Mix with 2 he of warm water. Take 1 qian bi. Lie down after ingestion. If vomiting occurs, endure it temporarily. If no vomiting after some time, mix 5 qian bi of powder with 2 he of water and take; vomiting will occur. If still no vomiting, slightly increase the dose. The goal is vomiting. Vomiting 5 sheng or more of yellow-green fluid resembling vegetable juice is ideal. If little is vomited and disease persists, repeat the method the next day. Can be repeated up to three times without causing deficiency. If the drug's potency passes without vomiting, take 1 sheng of water to assist the drug's power. After vomiting, food can be consumed; no residual toxicity remains. If too much medicine is taken, drink cold water to resolve it. (Duplicate of Zhang Wenzhong's prescription above)
Seven-Ingredient Red Powder for treating cold damage with heat disease, warding off toxic vapors and epidemics.
