有人被蛇螫者，纵身不得自来，但有报人至前，使之坐，问被螫何处，即面巳地依左右
快掐头指内第一节曲文头侧上，仍心想口暗诵曰。
啮蛇头，掐蛇目，望蛇乡，踏蛇足，讫，则放前人去，待极远，然后缓放所掐处，即瘥
路安满禁蛇法。
五月五日从门东刺向南三步，九迹四方取气讫，重向南方取气，即切切诵后咒文四十
九遍，于后任所行。用其遮吒呵迦吒僧禁吒 剑吒。蛇毒死， 剑严，蛇毒烂，若欲诵咒
时，须在月建上立唤被螫人当前立定，然后背足行七步，仍顿足回身，向被螫人立，掐指二
所如了，乃诵咒七遍。即放所患者归，可一炊久放掐目也，若不解咒，蛇致死，乃放掐目诵
云。吾庭前者木，百尺无枝，凤皇在上，资斯速出，放汝去，摄汝毒命宁收，急急如律令。

咒曰∶某郡某县里，男女姓名，年若干于某年月日时，于某处为某色蛇螫某处，阴咒云，
你是巳功曹，我是亥明府。你若不摄毒，吾当掐你口，闭气随想掐蛇口。蛇口在食指第二节

左手掐，螫当中，两手尽掐，急忘任放手肿处，手刺去血，即便瘥。（出第四十五卷中）
《肘后备急方》中说，恶毒的蛇类非常多，但毒性有轻重之分。在四月、五月间，青色或苍色的虺蛇，颈部白色的大蛇；六月间的竹狩文蝮蛇，黑色鳞片、红色眼睛、黄色嘴巴且嘴角向后反钩的白蛇，以及头部呈三角形的蛇。这些都是毒性猛烈的蛇，人被咬后如果不立即治疗，大多会死亡。处理这类情况，第一要务是施行禁咒法，第二则是用药救治。如今世俗之人懂得禁咒法的很少，即使去寻找师傅学习法术，往往也已经导致病人困顿毙命，所以只宜勤于使用各种药物。但是，如果偶然经过草丛小路，哪里能随身携带所有的医书呢？（此段内容出自《文仲备急方》第八卷）
崔氏禁蛇法。（由路安满传授）
如果有人被蛇咬伤，身体无法自主行动，只要有人报告并来到伤者面前，让伤者坐下，询问被咬的部位在哪里，然后面向地面，用左手拇指和食指内侧的第一节弯曲处的纹路顶端，用力掐住，同时在心中默念咒语：
“咬蛇的头，掐蛇的眼，望蛇的方向，踩蛇的脚。”说完后，就让伤者离开，等到距离极远之后，再松开掐住的手指，伤口即可痊愈。
路安满禁蛇法。
在五月五日，从门的东侧向南走三步，向四方采集气息完毕后，再次向南方采集气息，接着低声连续诵读下面的咒文四十九遍，之后任其行动。使用的咒语是：“遮吒呵迦吒僧禁吒剑吒。蛇毒死，剑严，蛇毒烂。”如果想要诵咒时，必须在月建方位站立，呼唤被咬的人站在面前，然后倒退七步，跺脚转身，面向被咬者站立，用手指掐住两处穴位，如同之前所述那样，然后诵咒七遍。随即让患者回去，大约一顿饭的时间后松开掐住的眼睛部位。如果不懂咒语，蛇会导致死亡，于是松开掐眼处并诵念道：“我家庭院前的树木，百尺高而无枝，凤凰在上，凭借此力迅速排出，放你离去，摄取你的毒气使生命安宁，急急如律令。”（此段出自第五卷）

咒语说：“某郡某县某里，男子或女子姓名，年龄若干岁，在某年某月某日某时，在某处被某种颜色的蛇咬伤某处。”暗中诵念道：“你是巳时的功曹神，我是亥时的明府神。如果你不收敛毒素，我就要掐住你的嘴。”屏住呼吸，想象掐住蛇的口部。蛇口位于食指的第二节白色纹理处，用左手掐住，如果是中间被咬，则双手都掐住，急忙忘记松开，直到肿胀处，用手刺破出血，伤口即刻痊愈。（此段出自第四十五卷）
The *Zhouhou Beiji Fang* (Emergency Prescriptions Kept in the Sleeve) states that there are many types of venomous snakes, but their toxicity varies. In April and May, there are green or bluish-green hui snakes (a type of viper), large white-necked snakes; in June, there are bamboo-hunting patterned pit vipers, black-scaled snakes with red eyes, yellow mouths, and backward-curving fangs, as well as triangular-headed snakes. These are all snakes with potent venom. If bitten persons do not receive immediate treatment, they often die. The first measure is to perform exorcistic spells (Jin), and the second is to use medicine. Nowadays, few laypeople know how to perform these spells. Even if one seeks out a master to learn the techniques, the patient may already have become incapacitated or died. Therefore, it is best to diligently employ various medicinal treatments. However, if one accidentally passes through grassy paths, how can one carry all medical texts? (This passage is from Volume 8 of the *Wenzhong Beijifang*)
Cui’s Snake-Bite Exorcism Method. (Transmitted by Lu Anman)
If someone has been bitten by a snake and cannot move independently, once an assistant arrives, have the patient sit down. Ask where the bite occurred. Then, face the ground, and firmly pinch the inner side of the first joint curve at the tip of the thumb and index finger using the left hand. Simultaneously, visualize and silently recite the following mantra:
"Pinch the snake's head, clamp the snake's eyes, gaze toward the snake's direction, step on the snake's feet." After finishing, let the person leave. Wait until they are at a great distance, then slowly release the pinched fingers. The wound will heal.
Lu Anman’s Snake-Bite Exorcism Method.
On the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, start from the east side of the door and walk three steps south. After gathering qi from the four directions, gather qi again facing south. Then, whisper the following incantation forty-nine times continuously, after which you may proceed as needed. The incantation used is: "Zhecha hejia zhajie sengjin zha jianzha. She du si, jian yan, she du lan." (Snake poison dies, sword sharpens, snake poison rots.) When reciting the spell, you must stand in the position of the Month General (Yuejian), summon the bitten person to stand before you, then walk backward seven steps, stomp your feet, turn around, and face the victim. Pinch two acupoints on the fingers as described previously, then recite the incantation seven times. Immediately allow the patient to return. After about the time it takes to cook a meal, release the pinched eye area. If you do not understand the incantation, the snake may cause death. Thus, release the pinched eye area and recite: "The tree before my courtyard, a hundred feet tall without branches, the Phoenix resides above. Relying on this power, expel quickly. Let you go, capture your poison, let life be peaceful. Hurry, just like the law commands." (From Volume 5)
*Gujin Luyan* Exorcism Formula for Snake Bites. (Presented by Grand Military Officer Li, sent by Gao Yuanhai)
The incantation says: "[Name], male or female, from [Village] in [County], [Prefecture], aged [Age]. On [Date/Time], at [Location], I was bitten by a [Color] snake at [Body Part]." Recite secretly: "You are the Gongcao deity of Si (Snake hour), I am the Mingfu deity of Hai (Pig hour). If you do not restrain the poison, I will pinch your mouth." Hold your breath and visualize pinching the snake's mouth. The snake's mouth corresponds to the white texture on the second joint of the index finger. Pinch it with the left hand. If bitten in the center, pinch with both hands. Do not forget to keep pinching until the swollen area. Prick the skin to bleed, and the condition will immediately improve. (From Volume 45)
