Whenever a child suffers from rectal prolapse that cannot be reduced, and after a long time it becomes hard and difficult to push back, use scallions with roots (about one *jin*) washed slowly until soft. Then, according to the above formulas, apply medicine to the affected area for reduction.

(This is caused by damp-heat pouring downward from the Lung and Stomach.)

Snails with shells (more than ten) are crushed and applied topically to eliminate the condition.

Portulaca oleracea leaves and Physalis alkekengi var. franchetii herbs (in equal parts) are decocted in water. Fumigate and wash once a day for efficacy. (Also treats intestinal abscess/damp-toxin.)

Plum leaves and peach leaves (one *hu*) are crushed, steamed hot, placed in a small vessel, and the patient sits over it with a cloth barrier for fumigation until all parasites die. Alternatively, crush apricot kernels into a paste; if itching is severe, steam jujubes to extract the paste, mix with Mercury (*Hydrargyrum*), roll into a three-cun strip, wrap in cotton, insert into the anus at night, and the next day the worms will emerge resembling bird-pecked flesh. Adzuki beans and soybeans (one *sheng* each) are steamed hot, made into two bags, and used alternately for sitting compresses to stop symptoms.

Raw Ginkgo biloba seeds are crushed and applied topically.

Chicken gizzard skin is burned to ash, ground into powder, cooled, dried, and sprinkled on the lesion for spontaneous healing.

Wrap the area with spider silk for immediate detachment. Alternatively, burn dung beetles (*Scarabaeus sacer*) to powder, mix with vinegar, and apply topically. For cases without pus formation, crush cypress leaves and apply topically. Boiled salt is used for intestinal abscess (symptoms: protruding swollen anus, constipation, abdominal distension/discomfort, difficult urination). Semen Momordicae charantiae (five pieces) are ground into mud, placed in a basin, and fumigated/washed with boiling water poured over them.

Decoct peach roots for washing. Alternatively, decoct sophora roots for washing. For chronic cases lasting ten years, applying Bear Bile (*Ursi Fel*) can cure and stop the disease. All other formulas are inferior to this method.

Peach leaves (one *hu*), fine bran, and sesame seeds (one *dou* each) are steamed together until the fine bran is cooked. The patient sits over the vapor of the peach leaves to fumigate, causing all worms to exit; this is highly effective.

Fresh Sophora root bark (ten *liang*) has its black outer layer removed, is crushed thoroughly, formed into pills the size of a marble, wrapped in cotton, and inserted into the lower part/anus for great efficacy. Alternatively, roast carp intestines until fragrant, wrap in cotton, and insert into the lower part/anus. Within the time of one meal, worms should emerge. Replace the fish intestines frequently until all are used up, and the disease will heal. Additionally, take a large jujube, peel off the red skin, place Mercury (*Hydrargyrum*) in the palm, grind with saliva until extremely smooth, apply to the inside of the jujube, and insert into the anus for healing. Additionally, decoct winter melon for washing. Additionally, put Natrii Sulfas (five *qian*) into a urinal, pour boiling water to generate steam for fumigation and washing. Additionally, grind Curcuma aromatica into powder, mix with water, and apply topically. Additionally, crush mustard greens into a cake and sit on it frequently. Additionally, grind Picrorhiza scrophulariiflora rhizome into powder, mix with goose bile, and apply topically. Additionally, decoct certain roots, fumigate first then wash. Additionally, boil five times gallnuts (three pieces) and Natrii Sulfas (a pinch) in two bowls of water until concentrated, fumigate first then wash, effective after one or two treatments.

There is also a method for mummifying hemorrhoids: Calcined Alum (five *li*), Scorpion tail tips (seven), and White Alum (five *qian*) are placed in a silver jar and calcined over gentle fire into powder. Add Cinnabar and Borneol (five *li*), grind together, and mix with true sesame oil for topical application. Healing occurs in eighteen days. This formula is one that specialists in treating hemorrhoids dislike to hear about. For internal hemorrhoids: If internal hemorrhoids prolapse, grind one large soft-shelled turtle head into powder and apply to the hemorrhoids for immediate retraction; this is highly effective. For internal hemorrhoids that do not prolapse, dilate the anus to pull out the hemorrhoids, then apply medication. Additionally, seven snails and one *liang* of fine Silver Sulfide powder (*Yinzhu*) are observed to liquefy; apply wet vermilion to the affected area, and prolonged application leads to self-healing.
