Chuanwu (Aconiti Radix), Moyao (Myrrhae Resina), Ruxiang (Olibanum), Xiongshushi (Excrement of Male Rat), Xuduan (Dipsaci Radix) (each 2 qian), Shexiang (Moschus) (1 fen). After a full meal, apply moxibustion as described previously.

If it instead drains the true qi, perform this procedure once annually on the Mid-Autumn Festival. Apply moxibustion every two days, continuing until sounds are heard inside the navel and saliva-like substances are discharged in the stool. Consume only white rice porridge, using yellow wine to assist the medicinal efficacy.

For treating consumption (Lao disease) patients who are not yet completely deficient, employ the water moxibustion method. Baige Fen (White Pigeon Droppings), Jing Lingzhi (Purified Liquidambar Resin), Baijiamo (White Mustard Seed Powder) (each 5 qian), Sheng Gancao Mo (Raw Licorice Root Powder) (2 qian), added with Garlic herbal powder.

Weilu (Gate of Life acupoint).

Vigorously use the smoke from burning Ruxiang (Olibanum) to fumigate the back of the patient's hand: left hand for males, right hand for females. Cover the palm with a silk cloth for a prolonged period. If hair emerges from the palm, red color indicates difficult treatment, black color indicates untreatable, and no hair emergence indicates absence of consumption parasites.

Apply wet paper strips along the spine; the area that dries first marks the location of the consumption parasite, which should be marked with ink. Paste slices of old garlic onto the marked spots, place a ball of moxa on the garlic slice, and burn it.

Use Fengxian Gen (Impatiens root) dipped in Naobrn (Borneolum Syntheticum) to rub the back, or add Jiang (Ginger Rhizome) and Guirou (Cinnamon Bark), crush them together, and rub. Additionally, Xiongjing (Realgar), Zhusha (Cinnabar), Liuhuang (Sulfur) (each 1 qian, free of sand and mud), and Shexiang (Moschus) (1 fen) should each be ground into extremely fine powder and stored in porcelain jars. Mix evenly with high-quality distilled liquor. Use a single-clove garlic bulb, remove the stem base, dip it in the medicine, and rub upwards from the Weilu acupoint along the spinal vertebrae one by one. Wherever there is swelling or extreme pain, that is where the consumption parasite resides. Rub the swollen and painful areas multiple times; the parasite will naturally perish. This method can eradicate the root of all consumption diseases, whether new or chronic. For severe cases, choose an auspicious day designated by the Heavenly Physician deity; rubbing at noon is optimal, especially on the Dragon Boat Festival (Duanwu Festival). Days of Wu, Si, and Chu are also suitable. This medicine can open the three critical gates behind the body. Even individuals with deficiency, weakness, or summer-heat malaise (Zhu Xia) will feel refreshed and clear-headed after rubbing on Duanwu Festival, promoting smooth meridian flow and providing significant benefits. This prescription was transmitted from overseas and has proven miraculously effective through repeated trials. On the first day of the eighth lunar month, collect dew from the tops of hundred herbs early in the morning and apply it to the Gohuang acupoint (located on both sides of the fourth thoracic vertebra, three cun lateral to the posterior midline). This is most efficacious.
