治痈肿，能拔毒止痛。惟红痛非常者，不得已而用之。白疽忌用。
蓖麻仁打烂如泥，以绢包好，扎于患处。惟无孕妇人及男子患阳症者可扎，痛止即去。

如千槌膏有蓖麻仁，鲫鱼膏有巴豆，二物提拔之力甚狠，孕妇贴则堕胎，白疽贴则成患。
治杨梅结毒。

瓦上炙存性，研细，每粉一两，加麝香一钱，再研，日敷。如初发，以三黄丸每日五鼓
时取四钱，热陈酒送下，醉盖取汗，或以泻肝汤每日早晚轮服。
马曰∶此方能长肉收口，极效。然火毒甚时，早用之反有损。
治疗外痔。

研磨混合，加入嫩膏一两五钱，再次研磨，密封保存以防漏气。使用时涂抹于患处，疼痛停止后，每日涂抹两次，同时内服枯痔丸。方剂见丸散门。
治疗阴部顽固性恶癣，并治疗横痃（腹股沟淋巴结炎）。
五月上旬，取鲜皂角数斤，捣烂放入锅中，煮汤煎至浓稠，滤出药汁，换水再煎二三遍，去渣，将药汁合并于一锅中，慢火煎熬成膏。治疗横痃时，用糯米粥送服此膏。治疗顽固性癣症，加醋熬至稠腻，清洗剃毛后涂抹，每日剃毛并涂抹，效果神奇异常。
治疗甲疽（指/趾甲周围脓肿）。
野狼毒（一两）、黄芪（二两）。
用醋浸泡一夜，加入猪油五两，微火煎熬，取药液二两，绞去药渣，退去火气，涂抹封盖患口，每日更换三次，毒消伤口愈合。
治疗一切大痈（大型化脓性感染）。
麝香（当门子更佳）、五灵脂、雄黄、乳香、没药（各一两）、苏合油（二两）、蟾酥（五钱）、洞天嫩膏（八两）。
将各药研为细末，与苏合油、嫩膏搅匀调和至极，空心时涂抹围住患处，如果变干，用鸡毛蘸酒拂拭湿润，效果神奇。内服醒消丸，立即痊愈。
治疗痈肿，能拔毒止痛。只有红肿疼痛非常剧烈的情况，不得已才使用。白疽（寒性疮疡）忌用。
蓖麻仁捣烂如泥，用绢布包好，扎在患处。只有非孕妇及男子患阳证者可以扎，疼痛停止即去除。
其他的如千槌膏含有蓖麻仁，鲫鱼膏含有巴豆，这两味药提拔之力很猛，孕妇贴敷会导致堕胎，白疽患者贴敷则会加重病情。
治疗杨梅结毒（梅毒硬下疳或晚期梅毒结节）。
人指甲、血余（头发）。
在瓦上炙烤存性，研细，每粉一两，加麝香一钱，再研磨，每日敷用。如果是初发，用三黄丸每日清晨五更时分取四钱，热陈酒送服，醉酒后盖被取汗，或者早晚轮流服用泻肝汤。
马曰：此方能长肉收口，极有效。然而火毒严重时，过早使用反而有害。
Treat external hemorrhoids.
Suhe You (Styrax Oil), Huaimeifen (Sophora Flower Powder) (each 1 liang), Xiongdan (Ursi Bile, Bear Gallbladder), Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum) (each 5 qian).
Grind and mix, add Nengao (Soft Plaster) 1.5 liang, grind again, seal tightly to prevent leakage of volatile components. Apply to the affected area when needed. Once pain subsides, apply twice daily, and internally administer Kuzhi Wan (Hemorrhoid-Withering Pill). See the section on Pills and Powders for the formula.
Treat stubborn malignant tinea in the yin region, and also treat Hengxuan (Inguinal Lymphadenitis).
In early May, take several jin of fresh Gengjiao (Gleditsia Sinensis Fruit), pound into a paste, put into a pot, boil to make soup, and decoct until thick. Strain out the liquid, change water, and decoct two or three more times. Remove dregs, combine all juices in one pot, and slowly decoct into a plaster. To treat Hengxuan, drink this plaster with glutinous rice porridge. To treat stubborn tinea, add vinegar and decoct until thick and viscous. After washing and shaving the area, apply the plaster. Shave and apply daily; the effect is extraordinarily miraculous.
Treat Juzu (Paronychia/Abscess around fingernails/toenails).
Yelangdu (Stellera Chamaejasme Root) (1 liang), Huangqi (Astragali Radix) (2 liang).
Soak in vinegar overnight, add Zhu You (Porcine Fat) 5 liang, decoct over low heat. Extract 2 liang of the liquid, strain to remove dregs, allow to cool to dissipate "fire qi," and apply to seal the wound. Change three times daily; poison dissipates and the wound closes.
Treat all types of large Yong (Large Abscesses).
Shexiang (Moschus, Musk) (Dangmenzi is better), Wulingzhi (Trogopterori Faeces), Xionghuang (Realgar), Ruxiang (Olibanum, Frankincense), Moyao (Myrrha), Suhe You (Styrax Oil) (each 1 liang), Chansu (Chantaris Cinnabarinae Venenum, Toad Venom) (5 qian), Dongtian Nengao (Dongtian Soft Plaster) (8 liang).
Grind all herbs into fine powder, mix thoroughly with Suhe You and Nengao until perfectly blended. Apply on an empty stomach around the affected area. If it dries, moisten with wine using a chicken feather brush. The effect is miraculous. Internally administer Xingxiao Wan (Awakening and Eliminating Pill) for immediate cure.
Treat carbuncles and swellings, capable of drawing out toxins and relieving pain. Use only when necessary for cases with extreme redness and swelling/pain. Contraindicated for Baiju (White Gangrene/Cold Ulcer).
Pound Bamiaoren (Cannabis Fructus, Hemp Seed) into a mud-like paste, wrap well in silk cloth, and bind to the affected area. Only non-pregnant women and men suffering from Yang-pattern syndromes may use this binding method. Remove once pain stops.
Others such as Qanzhui Gao contain Bamiaoren, and Ji Yu Gao contains Badou (Crotonis Semen, Croton Seed). These two substances have very strong pulling/drawing power. Application on pregnant women can cause abortion; application on Baiju patients will worsen the condition.
Treat Meiyang Jiedu (Syphilitic Condyloma/Tumor).
Ren Zhijia (Human Nail), Xuyü (Hair Knot).
Roast on a tile until carbonized but retaining efficacy, grind finely. For every 1 liang of powder, add 1 qian of Shexiang (Moschus), grind again, and apply daily. If in the initial stage, take 4 qian of Sanhuang Wan (Three-Yellow Pill) at dawn (Wugeng time) daily, taken down with hot aged wine. Cover up after drinking until drunk to induce sweating, or alternatively, take Xiegan Tang (Liver-Draining Decoction) alternating morning and evening.
Ma said: This formula promotes flesh growth and wound closure, and is extremely effective. However, when fire-toxin is severe, using it too early causes harm.
