水煎服。加丹皮、麦冬、玉竹、山药、茯苓，退虚热至效。

水煎服。本方去五味加附子，名八味肾气汤。
治喉闭、缠喉风、痰涎壅塞、口噤不开，汤水难下。
焰硝（一两五钱） 硼砂（五钱） 片脑（二分五厘） 雄黄（二钱） 白僵蚕（一钱）
各另研为末，和匀。以竹筒吹患处，痰涎即出。如痰虽出，肿痛仍不消，急针患处，去
恶血，服前药。
治喉疮并口舌生疮、走马牙疳、咽喉肿痛诸症。
真青黛 蒲黄（炒） 人中白（各一两） 冰片（五分） 硼砂（五钱）
共为细末，吹喉极效。
升麻（一钱） 生地（二钱） 黄连 连翘 丹皮（各一钱）
水煎服。
止牙痛神效
牙硝（三钱） 硼砂（三钱） 雄黄（二钱） 冰片（一分五厘） 麝香（五厘）
共为末，每用少许擦牙。
葛根（一钱） 升麻（一钱） 甘草（五分） 赤芍（一钱五分）
水煎服。风胜，加荆芥、防风、薄荷；火胜，加连翘、丹皮、生地、蒡子。

用水煎煮后服用。若加入牡丹皮、麦冬、玉竹、山药、茯苓，可起到退除虚热的显著疗效。

用水煎煮后服用。本方去掉五味子并加入附子，名为八味肾气汤（即金匮肾气丸）。
治疗喉闭（咽喉肿痛闭塞不通）、缠喉风（咽喉红肿疼痛伴痰鸣窒息感）、痰涎壅塞、牙关紧闭无法张开、汤水难以咽下等症状。
焰硝（一两五钱） 硼砂（五钱） 片脑（即冰片，二分五厘） 雄黄（二钱） 白僵蚕（一钱）
分别单独研磨成细末，混合均匀。用竹筒将药粉吹入患处，痰涎即可排出。如果痰虽已排出，但肿痛仍未消退，应立即针刺患处，放出恶血，然后服用前面的药物。
黄连（一钱） 黄芩 黄柏 黑山栀（即炒焦的山栀子，各一钱五分）
用水煎煮后服用。
治疗喉疮以及口舌生疮、走马牙疳（一种发展迅速、腐蚀严重的口腔疾病）、咽喉肿痛等各种症状。

共同研磨成极细的粉末，吹入咽喉，效果极佳。
升麻（一钱） 生地黄（二钱） 黄连 连翘 牡丹皮（各一钱）

止牙痛神效
牙硝（三钱） 硼砂（三钱） 雄黄（二钱） 冰片（一分五厘） 麝香（五厘）
共同研磨成粉末，每次取少量涂抹于牙齿上。
葛根（一钱） 升麻（一钱） 甘草（五分） 赤芍（一钱五分）
用水煎煮后服用。若风邪偏盛，加入荆芥、防风、薄荷；若火邪偏盛，加入连翘、牡丹皮、生地黄、牛蒡子。

Decoct in water and take orally. Adding Mudanpi Cortex Moutan, Maidong Radix Ophiopogonis, Yuzhu Rhizoma Polygonati Odorati, Shanyao Rhizoma Dioscoreae, and Fuling Sclerotium Poria can effectively clear deficiency heat.

Wuweizi Fructus Schisandrae (0.5 fen each)
Decoct in water and take orally. If Wuweizi is removed from this formula and Fuzi Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata is added, it is named Bawei Shenqi Tang (Eight-Ingredient Kidney-Qi Decoction).
Treating Hou Bi (throat obstruction with swelling and pain), Chan Hou Feng (strangulating throat wind characterized by severe throat swelling, pain, and phlegm rattle), excessive accumulation of saliva and phlegm, trismus (lockjaw), and difficulty swallowing liquids or solids.
Yanxiao Natrii Nitras (1.5 liang) Pengsha Borax Pian Nao (Bingpian / Borneolum Syntheticum) (0.25 fen) Xionghuang Realgar Baijiangcan Bombyx Batryticatus (1 qian)
Each ingredient should be ground separately into fine powder, then mixed uniformly. Use a bamboo tube to insufflate the powder onto the affected area; saliva and phlegm will be expelled immediately. If the phlegm is expelled but swelling and pain persist, urgently puncture the affected area to release evil blood, and then administer the aforementioned medicines.
Huanglian Rhizoma Coptidis (1 qian) Huangqin Radix Scutellariae Huangbai Cortex Phellodendri Heishanzhi Fructus Gardeniae Praeparatus (1.5 qian each)
Decoct in water and take orally.
Treating Hou Chuang (throat ulcers), sores on the mouth and tongue, Zouma Ya Gan (noma gangrenosum or rapidly progressing necrotizing stomatitis), and various conditions involving sore throat and swelling.
Zhen Qingdai Indigo Naturalis Pu Huang Pollen Typhae (stir-fried) Renzhongbai Calculus Humanis (1 liang each) Bingpian Borneolum Syntheticum (0.5 fen) Pengsha Borax (0.5 liang)
Grind all ingredients together into an extremely fine powder and insufflate into the throat for excellent efficacy.

Decoct in water and take orally.

Grind into powder. Apply a small amount to the teeth each time.
Gegen Puerariae Lobatae Radix (1 qian) Shengma Rhizoma Cimicifugae (1 qian) Gancao Radix Glycyrrhizae (0.5 fen) Chishao Radix Paeoniae Rubra (1.5 qian)
Decoct in water and take orally. If wind pathogen predominates, add Jingjie Herba Schizonepetae, Fangfeng Radix Saposhnikoviae, and Bohe Herba Menthae. If fire pathogen predominates, add Lianqiao Fructus Forsythiae, Mudanpi Cortex Moutan, Shengdi Radix Rehmanniae, and Bangzi Semen Arctii.

Grind into powder. Insufflate into the throat five to six times within a day and night.
