皂矾丸 牙皂（三钱）。切碎炒研细末。白矾（三钱生研） 真干蟾酥（一两） 切片火酒化和丸如绿豆大。麝香三
分和入。每服一丸。以葱白裹药。黄酒送服。势重者。每日服二次。此药每次止可服一粒。如服二粒。恐致呕吐。慎之
慎之。治大毒初起。疔疮走黄。黑陷昏愦呕恶之症。
青龙丸 番木鳖（四两）米泔浸三日。刮去皮毛。切片晒燥。麻油炒透。炒甲片（一两二钱） 白僵蚕（一两二钱）。
炒断丝。共为细末。黄米饭捣和。为丸如桐子大。每服五分。量人虚实酌减。临卧时按部位。用引经药。煎汤送下。盖
暖睡勿冒风。如冒觉周身麻木。抽掣发抖。不必惊慌。过片刻即安。治一切疔疮肿毒。并跌仆闪胸。伤筋挛痛。贴骨痈
疽。男妇大小颈项瘰 。及乳串结核。痰凝气滞。硬块成毒。小儿痘后痈疽初起者。一二服即消。已成脓者。服之自能
出毒。不必咬头开刀。诚外科第一妙方也。头面。用羌活（五分） 川芎（五分） 煎汤送下。肩背。用角刺尖五分。
两臂。用桂枝五分。胸腹。用枳壳五分。两肋。用柴胡五分。腰间。用杜仲五分。两足膝。用牛膝五分。木瓜五分。咽

蜜化。夏布收去渣。除乳香、没药、藤黄、阿魏外。余皆忌火。秤准各末和匀。再研极细。以阿魏蒸好。和蜜捣极匀为
丸。每服重四分。专治痈疽发背。破伤风。疔疮无名肿毒。跌打损伤。小儿惊风等症。用绍酒调服。忌生冷。孕妇戒投。
七厘散 大赤练蛇一条。烧灰存性。研极细末。勿犯铁器。米糊为丸。如芥子大。治一切无名肿毒。诸药不效者。
每服七粒。重者加十四粒。若平陷不痛楚者。加姜黄、藤黄研细醋调搽之。即能奏效。孕妇忌投。
九龙丹 木香 乳香 没药 儿茶 血竭 去油巴豆（各等分） 共为极细末。生蜜调成一块。瓷盒收贮。用时旋
丸如豌豆大。治痈毒、鱼口、便毒、横 。初起未成脓者。每服九丸。空心热酒送。泻四五次后。服薄粥一碗。其泻即
止。如肿甚者。间日再送一服。其毒自消。
龟蜡丹 血龟板一大个。用下半 。烘热。用白蜡渐渐掺上。板自炙枯。放泥地上出火气。研细黄酒调服至醉。暖
盖取汗即愈。治一切无名肿毒。对口、发背、流注、痈疽、疔疮等症。
八圣散 天虫（二钱） 蜈蚣（八钱） 斑蝥（去翅足） 穿山甲（炒） 巴豆霜（各四钱） 乳香（一钱五分） 没
药（一钱五分） 共为末。凡鱼口、便毒重者。每服一钱。轻者每服六分。酒下二服自效。
五虎下西川 炙鳖甲（一两） 蜈蚣（二十条。瓦上焙） 全蝎（一两） 土炒天虫（一两） 生军（二两） 共
为末。凡无名肿毒痰症。每服一钱。小儿每服黄酒送下。无不应效。

飞龙夺命丹：真蟾酥（一钱）、去油乳香（一钱）、铜绿（一钱）、轻粉（一钱）、胆矾（一钱）、血竭（一钱）、辰砂（一钱）、明矾（一钱）、雄黄（一钱）、冰片（三分）、麝香（三分）。共同研成细末。同大蜗牛二十个，捣匀调和，制成如绿豆大小的丸剂。每次服用七丸，或九丸，或十一丸。取葱白三五寸长，患者自行咀嚼后吐在手心，将药丸包裹在内，用温酒和着葱白送下。以行走五里路出汗为度。若无汗，再用葱白研烂，包裹药丸服用。治疗一切疔肿恶疮、痈疽初起时，表现为黑陷不痛，或麻木不仁，毒瓦斯内攻，出现呕吐、昏愦等症状。一方即蟾酥丸，加蜈蚣两条；另一方在前方的基础上加蜈蚣（一钱）、穿山甲（一钱）、寒水石（三钱）、僵蚕（一钱）、全蝎（一钱）、角刺（三分）、红信（二分）。
一粒珠：金穿山甲（一只重二十四两，分为四足，一足用米醋炙，一足用松花汤炙，一足用麻油炙，一足用真苏合油炙黄使用）、真西黄（三钱）、镜劈砂（四钱）、真廉珠（三钱，水飞法处理）、麝香（四钱）、大梅片（四钱）、明雄黄（四钱）、杜蟾酥（一钱二分，用火酒化开）。以上药物选择吉日依法炮制，混合研磨成极细末。将蟾酥化入其中，再加苏合油拌捣千遍至光亮为止。制成丸剂，每丸重五分。晒干后用腊壳保护。治疗一切无名肿毒、痈疽发背等症。每次服用一丸，用人乳化开，陈黄酒冲服。服药后暖卧避风。兼治小儿惊风。每丸均分两次服用，用纯钩藤、橘红煎汤送下。
五香追毒丸：老君须、母丁香（不见火）、苦丁香（即香瓜蒂）、去油乳香、去油没药、巴豆霜、广木香、炒黑牛蒡子、上沉香、血竭、辰砂、蟾酥（用火酒另化）。以上各等分。共同研磨成细末。将已化的蟾酥，加陈蜜调和，制成如芡实大小的丸剂。辰砂为衣。每次服用一丸或二丸。空腹食前，用绍兴酒化开服用。泻二三次后，用冷粥补益脾胃。毒气即可消除。治疗痈疽一切无名肿毒。初起体质壮实者适宜。兼能去除疔疮毒，止痛效果如神。
寸金丹：麝香（一分）、乳香、乌金石（即石炭）、轻粉、雄黄、狗宝、没药（各一钱）、蟾酥（二钱）、粉霜、黄蜡（各三钱）、硼砂（五钱）、鲤鱼胆、狗胆（各二个，阴干）、金头蜈蚣（七条，全部用焙干法处理）、头生男儿乳（一合）。以上药物研磨成细末。用黄蜡和乳汁熬膏，调和制成如绿豆大小的丸剂。大小儿丸剂如芥子大小。每次服用一丸，重症加至三丸。用白丁香七粒研烂，新汲水调送。盖暖被子出汗为度。三次即可痊愈。治疗极重的肿毒、痈疽、疔疮。四肢壮热、沉重者，甚至噤口不开，撬开嘴灌下三丸，化开后服用，神效。
皂矾丸：牙皂（三钱），切碎炒后研成细末。白矾（三钱，生研）、真干蟾酥（一两），切片用火酒化开，调和制成如绿豆大小的丸剂。麝香三分掺入其中。每次服用一丸，用葱白包裹药丸，黄酒送服。病情重者，每日服用二次。此药每次只可服用一粒，如服用两粒，恐怕导致呕吐，务必谨慎。治疗大毒初起、疔疮走黄，表现为黑陷、昏愦、呕恶等症状。
青龙丸：番木鳖（四两），米泔水浸泡三日，刮去皮毛，切片晒燥，麻油炒透。炒甲片（一两二钱）、白僵蚕（一两二钱），炒断丝。共同研磨成细末。黄米饭捣碎调和，制成如梧桐子大小的丸剂。每次服用五分，根据人体虚实酌情减量。临睡前，按病变部位，用引经药煎汤送下。盖暖睡觉，不要受风。如果受风感到周身麻木、抽掣发抖，不必惊慌，过片刻即安。治疗一切疔疮肿毒，以及跌仆闪挫导致的胸胁伤筋挛痛、贴骨痈疽、男女老少颈项瘰疬，以及乳串结核、痰凝气滞形成的硬块成毒、小儿痘后痈疽初起者。一二服即可消除。已成脓者，服用后可自能排出毒邪，不必咬头开刀。诚然是外科第一妙方。头部面部，用羌活（五分）、川芎（五分）煎汤送下。肩背部，用角刺尖五分。两手臂，用桂枝五分。胸腹部，用枳壳五分。两肋部，用柴胡五分。腰间，用杜仲五分。两足膝部，用牛膝五分、木瓜五分。咽颈部，用桔梗五分、甘草五分。跌仆导致的挛筋，用红花五分、当归五分，黄酒煎汤送下。
紫霞丹：犀黄（四分）、雄黄（二钱）、大黄（四钱）、天竺黄（四钱）、藤黄（二钱），九晒去酸味。冰片（四分）、儿茶（二钱）、参三七（四钱）、血竭（二钱）、乳香（四钱，去油）、没药（四钱，去油）、麝香（四分）、阿魏一钱用蜜化开，夏布过滤去渣。除乳香、没药、藤黄、阿魏外，其余药物皆忌火。秤准各药末和匀，再研磨极细。将阿魏蒸好，和蜜捣极匀制成丸剂。每次服用重四分。专治痈疽发背、破伤风、疔疮无名肿毒、跌打损伤、小儿惊风等症。用绍兴酒调服。忌生冷食物。孕妇戒用。
七厘散：大赤练蛇一条，烧灰存性，研磨成极细末。勿接触铁器。米糊为丸，如芥子大小。治疗一切无名肿毒，其他药物无效者。每次服用七粒，重症加十四粒。若平陷不痛楚者，加姜黄、藤黄研细，醋调搽之，即能奏效。孕妇忌用。
九龙丹：木香、乳香、没药、儿茶、血竭、去油巴豆（各等分）。共同研磨成极细末。生蜜调成一块，瓷盒收贮。用时现丸如豌豆大小。治疗痈毒、鱼口、便毒、横痃。初起未成脓者，每次服用九丸。空腹热酒送服。泻四五次后，服薄粥一碗，其泻即止。如肿胀甚者，隔日再送一服，其毒自消。
龟蜡丹：血龟板一大个，用下半部分。烘热，用白蜡渐渐掺上，龟板自炙枯。放在泥地上出火气，研磨细末，黄酒调服至醉。盖暖被子取汗即愈。治疗一切无名肿毒、对口、发背、流注、痈疽、疔疮等症。
八圣散：天虫（二钱）、蜈蚣（八钱）、斑蝥（去翅足）、穿山甲（炒）、巴豆霜（各四钱）、乳香（一钱五分）、没药（一钱五分）。共同研磨成末。凡鱼口、便毒重者，每次服用一钱。轻者每次服用六分。酒送下，二服自效。
五虎下西川：炙鳖甲（一两）、蜈蚣（二十条，瓦上焙）、全蝎（一两）、土炒天虫（一两）、生军（二两）。共同研磨成末。凡无名肿毒痰症，每次服用一钱。小儿每次服用，黄酒送下。无不应效。
Meihua Dianshe Dan (Plum Blossom Pointing to the Tongue Pill): Xihuang (Civet Musk, 1 qian), Yueshi (Rock Crystal, 1 qian), Xiongdan (Bear Bile, 3 fen), Xuexie (Dragon's Blood, 1 qian, oil removed), Ruxiang (Frankincense, 1.5 qian, oil removed), Moyao (Myrrh, 1.5 qian), Zhenzhu (Pearl, 4 fen), Chansu (Toad Venom, 1 qian), Tingli (Descurainia Seed, 1 qian), Shexiang (Musk, 3 fen), Bingpian (Borneol, 5 fen), Chenxiang (Agarwood, 5 qian), Xionghuang (Realgar, 1 qian). The above herbs are ground together into a fine powder. Use human milk to dissolve the toad venom and mix with the powder to form pills. Coat with Cinnabar (1 qian) and Gold Leaf. Each pill weighs 3 fen, or 3-4 li. Dry for three days and store in a porcelain bottle for use. Take 1-2 pills with warm wine before bedtime. It can resolve all kinds of unexplained swelling and toxicity. It is effective for early-stage Dingchuang (Furuncle/Carbuncle). One variation adds Baihua She She Cao (Hedyotis diffusa, 1.2 qian).
Feilong Duoming Dan (Flying Dragon Snatching Life Pill): Zhen Chansu (True Toad Venom, 1 qian), Qu You Ruxiang (Frankincense without oil, 1 qian), Tonglv (Malachite, 1 qian), Qingfen (Calomel, 1 qian), Danfan (Chalcanthite, 1 qian), Xuexie (Dragon's Blood, 1 qian), Chensha (Cinnabar, 1 qian), Mingfan (Alum, 1 qian), Xionghuang (Realgar, 1 qian), Bingpian (Borneol, 3 fen), Shexiang (Musk, 3 fen). Grind all ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with twenty large snails, pound evenly, and form pills the size of mung beans. Take 7, 9, or 11 pills per dose. Take 3-5 cun of scallion white, chew it by the patient, spit it into the palm, wrap the pill inside, and swallow with warm wine and scallion. The dosage is adequate when sweating occurs after walking for five li. If no sweat, grind fresh scallion white and wrap the pill to take. It treats all kinds of Dingzhong (Furuncles), Echuang (Malignant Sores), and early-stage Yongju (Abscesses) presenting as black, depressed, painless, or numb lesions, with internal attack of toxic factors causing vomiting and confusion. One variation is Chansu Wan (Toad Venom Pill) adding Wugong (Centipede, 2 pieces). Another variation adds Wugong (Centipede, 1 qian), Chuanshanjia (Pangolin Scale, 1 qian), Hanshuishi (Calcitum, 3 qian), Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus, 1 qian), Quanxie (Scorpion, 1 qian), Jiaoci (Spine of Acacia, 3 fen), Hongxin (Red Arsenic, 2 fen).
Yi Li Zhu (One Grain Pearl): Jin Chuanshanjia (Gold Pangolin Scale, one piece weighing 24 liang, divided into four feet: one roasted with rice vinegar, one with pine flower soup, one with sesame oil, one with true Suhe Oil until yellow), Zhen Xihuang (True Civet Musk, 3 qian), Jing Pi Sha (Mirror-split Sandarac?, 4 qian), Zhen Lianzhu (True Lapis Lazuli?, 3 qian, processed by water flotation), Shexiang (Musk, 4 qian), Da Meipian (Large Borneol, 4 qian), Ming Xionghuang (Bright Realgar, 4 qian), Du Chansu (Toad Venom, 1.2 qian, dissolved in fire wine). Select an auspicious day to process according to regulations, mix and grind into an extremely fine powder. Dissolve the toad venom into the powder, add Suhe Oil, and knead/pound for a thousand times until shiny. Form pills weighing 5 fen each. Dry in the sun and protect with wax shells. It treats all kinds of unexplained swelling, Yongju (Abscesses), Fabei (Back Carbuncle), etc. Take one pill per dose, dissolve in human milk, and wash down with aged yellow wine. Lie warm and avoid wind. It also treats Xiao'er Jingfeng (Pediatric Convulsion). Divide each pill into two doses; take with decoction of Gouteng (Uncaria rhynchophylla) and Juhong (Aged Tangerine Peel).
Wuxiang Zhuidu Wan (Five Fragrances Pursuing Toxicity Pill): Laojun Xu (Herba Houttuyniae?), Mu Dingxiang (Mother Clove, not exposed to fire), Ku Dingxiang (Bitter Clove, i.e., Xiangguadi/Melon Stalk), Qu You Ruxiang (Frankincense without oil), Qu You Moyao (Myrrh without oil), Badou Shuang (Croton Seed Frost), Guang Muxiang (Aquilaria Wood), Chao Hei Niubangzi (Stir-fried Black Arctium Fruit), Shang Chenxiang (Top-grade Agarwood), Xuexie (Dragon's Blood), Chensha (Cinnabar), Chansu (Toad Venom, dissolved separately in fire wine). All ingredients in equal parts. Grind into a fine powder. Add the dissolved toad venom and aged honey to form pills the size of Euryale seeds. Coat with Cinnabar. Take 1-2 pills per dose. Before meals on an empty stomach, dissolve in Shaoxing wine. After 2-3 bowel movements, replenish with cold congee. The toxicity will dissipate. It treats Yongju (Abscesses) and all unexplained swellings/toxicities. Suitable for early stages in robust individuals. It also removes Dingchuang (Furuncle) toxicity and stops pain miraculously.
Cunjin Dan (Inch Golden Pill): Shexiang (Musk, 1 fen), Ruxiang (Frankincense), Wujinshi (Black Stone Iron, i.e., Coal), Qingfen (Calomel), Xionghuang (Realgar), Goubao (Dog Gallstone), Moyao (Myrrh, 1 qian each), Chansu (Toad Venom, 2 qian), Fenshuang (White Lead Powder), Huangla (Yellow Beeswax, 3 qian each), Pengsha (Borax, 5 qian), Liyu Dan (Carp Gallbladder), Goudan (Dog Gallbladder, 2 each, dried in shade), Jintou Wugong (Golden-headed Centipede, 7 pieces, fully roasted). Grind into a fine powder. Boil Huangla (Yellow Beeswax) and human milk into a paste, mix with the powder to form pills the size of mung beans. For children, make pills the size of mustard seeds. Take 1 pill per dose, increase to 3 for severe cases. Grind 7 Baixiangding (White Dog Excrement? likely Bai Dingxiang/Bird Dropping) into a paste, mix with fresh well water, and swallow. Cover warmly to induce sweating. Three doses result in cure. It treats extremely severe swelling/toxicity, Yongju (Abscesses), Dingchuang (Furuncles). For limbs with intense heat and heaviness, even if the mouth is locked shut, pry open and instill 3 dissolved pills for miraculous effect.
Zaofan Wan (Soap Alum Pill): Ya Zao (Gleditsia Sinensis, 3 qian), cut into pieces, stir-fried and ground into fine powder. Baifan (White Alum, 3 qian, raw ground), Zhen Gan Chansu (True Dried Toad Venom, 1 liang), sliced and dissolved in fire wine, mixed to form pills the size of mung beans. Mix in Sanfen Shexiang (3 fen Musk). Take one pill per dose, wrap in scallion white, and swallow with yellow wine. For severe conditions, take twice daily. This medicine should only be taken one pill at a time; taking two may cause vomiting. Be very cautious. It treats initial severe toxicity, Dingchuang Zouhuang (Furuncle spreading to blood/systemic infection), presenting as black depression, confusion, and vomiting.
Qinglong Wan (Green Dragon Pill): Fan Mubie (Strychnos Nux-vomica, 4 liang), soak in rice washing water for three days, scrape off skin and hairs, slice and dry, stir-fry thoroughly in sesame oil. Chao Jiapian (Stir-fried Turtle Shell, 1.2 liang), Bai Jiangcan (White Silkworm, 1.2 liang), stir-fry until threads break. Grind into a fine powder. Pound yellow rice flour and mix to form pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take 5 fen per dose, adjust according to deficiency/excess. Before bedtime, take with decoction of Yinjing Yao (Meridian-guiding herbs) based on the affected area. Cover warmly and sleep, avoiding wind. If wind exposure causes numbness, spasms, or trembling, do not panic; it will settle shortly. It treats all Dingchuang (Furuncles), swellings/toxicities, traumatic injuries causing chest/flank strain and tendon spasm, Tiegu Yongju (Bone-adhering Abscesses), Luo Li (Scrofula) in necks of men/women/children, Ru Chuan Hejie (Breast Tuberculosis), Phlegm-Qi stagnation forming hard toxic masses, and early post-smallpox abscesses in children. One or two doses resolve them. If pus has formed, it helps expel toxicity without incision. Truly the first wonderful formula for surgery. For head/face, take with decoction of Qianghuo (Notopterygium, 5 fen) and Chuanxiong (Ligusticum, 5 fen). For shoulders/back, use Jiaocici (Acacia Spine, 5 fen). For arms, use Guizhi (Cinnamon Twig, 5 fen). For chest/abdomen, use Zhike (Bitter Orange, 5 fen). For flanks, use Chaihu (Bupleurum, 5 fen). For waist, use Duzhong (Eucommia, 5 fen). For legs/knees, use Niuxi (Achyranthes, 5 fen) and Mugua (Chaenomeles, 5 fen). For throat/neck, use Jiegeng (Platycodon, 5 fen) and Gancao (Licorice, 5 fen). For traumatic tendon spasm, use Honghua (Safflower, 5 fen) and Danggui (Angelica Sinensis, 5 fen), taken with yellow wine decoction.
Zixia Dan (Purple Cloud Pill): Xi Huang (Rhinoceros Horn substitute/Civet Musk?, 4 fen), Xionghuang (Realgar, 2 qian), Dahuang (Rhubarb, 4 qian), Tianzhu Huang (Calamus/Tropical Bamboo Sap?, 4 qian), Teng Huang (Teng Huang Vine Resin, 2 qian), sun-dried nine times to remove sour taste. Bingpian (Borneol, 4 fen), Ercha (Catechu, 2 qian), Shen Sanqi (Panax Notoginseng, 4 qian), Xuexie (Dragon's Blood, 2 qian), Ruxiang (Frankincense, 4 qian, oil removed), Moyao (Myrrh, 4 qian, oil removed), Shexiang (Musk, 4 fen), Awei (Asafoetida, 1 qian, dissolved in honey, filtered through summer cloth to remove dregs). Except for Frankincense, Myrrh, Teng Huang, and Awei, all other herbs must not be exposed to fire. Weigh accurately, mix powders evenly, and grind extremely fine. Steam the Awei, mix with honey, and pound evenly to form pills. Take 4 fen per dose. Specifically treats Yongju Fabei (Back Carbuncle), Poshang Feng (Broken Wind/Tetanus), Dingchuang (Furuncle), unexplained swellings, traumatic injuries, and pediatric convulsions. Take with Shaoxing wine. Avoid raw/cold foods. Contraindicated in pregnancy.
Qili San (Seven-Catty Powder): Da Chilian She (Large Red Snake, 1 piece), burned to ash retaining nature, ground extremely fine. Do not touch iron. Form pills with rice paste, size of mustard seeds. Treats all unexplained swellings/toxicities where other medicines fail. Take 7 pills per dose, increase to 14 for severe cases. If flat/depressed and painless, add Jianghuang (Turmeric) and Teng Huang (Teng Huang Vine Resin), grind fine, mix with vinegar, and apply externally for effectiveness. Contraindicated in pregnancy.
Jiulong Dan (Nine-Dragon Pill): Muxiang (Aquilaria Wood), Ruxiang (Frankincense), Moyao (Myrrh), Ercha (Catechu), Xuexie (Dragon's Blood), Qu You Badou (Croton Seed without oil) in equal parts. Grind into extremely fine powder. Mix with raw honey into a block, store in porcelain box. When using, roll into pills the size of pea seeds. Treats Yongdu (Abscess Toxicity), Yukou (Fish Mouth Ulcer), Biandu (Groin Abscess), Hengxuan (Transverse Hernia/Abscess). For early stage without pus, take 9 pills per dose with hot wine on an empty stomach. After 4-5 bowel movements, drink a bowl of thin congee to stop diarrhea. If swelling is severe, take another dose every other day; toxicity will dissipate.
Guila Dan (Turtle Wax Pill): Xue Guiban (Blood Turtle Shell, one large piece), use the lower half. Heat it, sprinkle Bai La (White Beeswax) gradually until the shell chars. Place on mud ground to remove fire qi, grind fine, mix with yellow wine, drink until drunk. Cover warmly to induce sweating for cure. Treats all unexplained swellings, Duikou (Opposite Mouth Ulcer), Fabei (Back Carbuncle), Liuzhu (Flowing Injection/Abscess), Yongju (Abscess), Dingchuang (Furuncle).
Basheng San (Eight-Sages Powder): Tianchong (Silkworm Chrysalis, 2 qian), Wugong (Centipede, 8 qian), Banmao (Mustard Beetle, wings/feet removed), Chuanshanjia (Pangolin Scale, stir-fried), Badou Shuang (Croton Seed Frost, 4 qian each), Ruxiang (Frankincense, 1.5 qian), Moyao (Myrrh, 1.5 qian). Grind into powder. For severe Yukou/Biandu, take 1 qian per dose. For mild cases, take 6 fen per dose. Wash down with wine; two doses are effective.
Wuhu Xia Xichuan (Five Tigers Descend West River): Zhi Biejia (Roasted Softshell Turtle Shell, 1 liang), Wugong (Centipede, 20 pieces, roasted on tile), Quanxie (Scorpion, 1 liang), Tu Chao Tianchong (Earth-stir-fried Silkworm Chrysalis, 1 liang), Sheng Jun (Raw Rhubarb, 2 liang). Grind into powder. For unexplained swellings/phlegm disorders, take 1 qian per dose. For children, take with yellow wine. Always effective.
